Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System - Chapter 883: The Puzzle

Chapter 883: The Puzzle
As everyone discussed various topics among themselves, with the most important being the Puzzle set by the Life Emperor, Kent happily ate like a king.
Of course, he deserves to eat like a king. Being pulled away only to find himself facing Spirit Lords and even a Heavenly Ascension stage experts was more than enough for a kid like him.
“I can’t believe you left us for a High world and are even enjoying the best delicacies they have to offer. You even dare to tease us about it. Do you think we can’t crash your party?” Vexthra spoke with a slight laugh at the end.
“Yes. We can totally come crash your party,” Unity said, also smiling.
“Just say the word, and I will create a mess for him.” Selene was ready, as were the rest of her brothers.
Kent smiled as he bit into a chunk of meat. He was talking to his ladies through the harem connection.
[What could possibly go wrong? Oh, let me guess. Out of nowhere, a bunch of heaven-defying beauties appear out of thin air and start causing trouble.
News will spread like fire soon, reaching the Heavenly Ascension stage monsters hidden in the city. They will come out, and when they see a bunch of harmless beauties, they will get the wrong idea.
One thing will lead to another, and I’ll be forced to fight them, which I can totally handle. In the end, after killing a couple of them, my perfect healer disguise will be branded a wanted criminal, and I won’t be able to come to this world, the planetary alliance it is in, or even the star system altogether.
I mean, what could possibly go wrong?]
Vexthra and her sisters smirked, hearing his bragging.
He had already bragged to them about the Spirit Lord beasts he had killed, and while he provided evidence of his remarkable feat, they knew that when it came to Heavenly Ascension stage humanoids, he was out of his league.
He killed one before, but can he kill another while surrounded by dozens of them?
“Sounds like you are having fun,” Vexthra said.
[More than you can think, and don’t worry, when I get to the capital, I will bring you guys to have some fun around.]
“That is why you are the best,” Camilla laughed and quickly entered the tower to prepare.
They were planning on climbing to the 4th floor of the dungeon soon, but it seemed they would have to put a pin in that for now.
“Just be careful out there. It is a new ascended world, but even so, beings from Great High worlds aren’t as simple as those from Legacy or Low ones.”
Vexthra, being the ever-caring wife, made sure his man understood caution.
Kent smiled, drinking juice.
[I will be sure to live like a chicken, keeping my head down always. After all, I am but a humble healer sent by my master to gain some experience in the world out there.]
“Tch, how shameless,” Selene chuckled, then added the most important message. “Be sure to keep the dragon in your pants, or else the next time I see you, I will cut it off.”
Kent almost choked on his food, but he managed to smile it off. The ladies looked at the Sword Saintess, who shrugged and also entered the tower to prepare.
[Talk to you ladies later.]
Kent cut the connection and focused on his food.
After establishing his connection with the ladies after he had sent Adina away, he exaggerated his feats to them. He even sent the body of one of the beasts he killed, shocking them greatly.
Of course, the ladies panicked when they learned their man was away fighting beasts several realms above his own. They took their time to tell him how precious life is, so he shouldn’t throw his own away.
Ever since then, they have remained in contact until Kent informed them that he had moved to a High world, where life is good and no dangers lurk around every corner.
After finishing his food, the overly enthusiastic lady brought his bill. Kent looked at the bill and smiled. “For such a delicacy, it isn’t even that expensive.”
He retrieved a pouch containing spirit stones and handed it to the lady. “You can keep the change.” With that, he walked away.
The lady, after watching Kent leave, looked into the pouch, and for a moment, she froze. But then a smile appeared on her lips as she put away the pouch, retrieving only the right amount for the bill.
As the saying goes, your life changer might be a handsome dude dressed in black with an appetite for any food.
Kent left the store, spreading his Soul Map.
In a minute, he was seeing the 80,000 km radius of the city. Though the city is several times bigger than that, he was able to find what he was looking for within the coverage of his Soul Map.
He quickly made his way to the Healing Guild, where he could see major activity happening. After a few minutes of walking, he appeared in front of a green pagoda.
It has seven floors, and on the ground floor, hundreds of people were gathered around a stone tablet.
As Kent slowly approached the tablet, he picked up on the whispers among the people standing around.
“It is just too bad nobody was able to figure out the puzzle. Not even Lord Abass was able to handle it this time, despite having a winning streak of solving almost all puzzles in the Alliance,” one person said with a sigh.
Another person also sighed and said, “It isn’t always the case that nobody in the world and even the Alliance could solve such a problem. I mean, what would be the implication this time around?
The last time, King Hap nearly lost his son when he was almost stuck in the Puzzle Space.”
Kent could see the concerned look on their faces. It was like their failure was the recipe for disaster.
Of course, Kent saw from the quest that if he were unable to solve the puzzle in three days, something bad would happen.
So he walked past them and slowly approached the tablet. After deactivating the Soul Map, he only saw the three boxes inside the three glass boxes when he was a few steps in front of the tablet.
’Three boxes placed inside three glass boxes.’
Kent stopped and examined the glass boxes, and as expected, there was a lock formation on them.
He also saw 15 people seated a few steps away from the stone tablet and three boxes, each focusing intently on the three puzzles.
Looking away from them, he stared at the stone tablet.
Kent’s eyes scanned the stone tablet, where three riddles were etched in a runic inscription. It was a language only a few can decipher. However, from the way people were talking, most can read it perfectly.
The puzzle was a test of logic and perception. It has three separate challenges, each holding the key to open the glass boxes. To unlock the boxes, one had to solve all three puzzles correctly.
The first puzzle read:
“Invisible threads bind the unseen,
Connecting all yet touching none.
I hold the past and shape the future,
Yet I have no form, no weight, no breath.
What am I?”
The second puzzle:
“I move without legs,
Carry without arms,
I am endless yet confined,
You cannot hold me, but I hold all.
What am I?”
The third puzzle was:
“Born from chaos, I dance in silence,
Neither living nor dead,
I consume without hunger,
And vanish with a single drop.
What am I?”
A couple of meters away, a young man’s eyes lit up when he saw Kent. This young man, of course, is Ander, the scholar dude who gave Kent a ride to the city.
