Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System - Chapter 886: The Cult Of Wisdom

Chapter 886: The Cult Of Wisdom
“He actually did. He solved all three puzzles that even well-known Enigmancers couldn’t solve in three months,” someone shouted.
Everybody was now looking at the three boxes that were open.
“Who is this kid?” someone else asked.
“Who cares who he is? I just want to know what is written on those scrolls.”
Life Emperor Hael, the king or lord of Miracle City, looked at Kent and nodded slightly with a thankful and respectful gaze, then moved toward the open boxes.
However, something strange happened.
Just as he was three steps away from the boxes, a light flashed from the three scrolls, pushing him back.
This startled everyone.
However, the next second, runic markings rose from the scrolls and wrote three words in the air:
“Cult of Wisdom.”
The moment people read these words, their faces turned pale, including the Three Life Emperors. Kent, who was standing in front of the scrolls, raised his brow, looking at everyone’s faces.
’What is happening?’ Kent wondered.
He never expected someone who was just a few steps away from reaching the peak of a High world to look pale just from reading three words.
’Who or what is this Cult of Wisdom?’ Kent wondered again, then chose to ask.
“Seniors, why do you all look like you have seen a ghost?”
Life Emperor Hael looked at Kent with a frown for a few seconds before turning back to the three words in the air.
“This is the business of the Cult of Wisdom. When it comes to them, even the Empress would have to lower his head, so how are you still standing?”
Kent raised his brow and turned to look at the three scrolls upon hearing Life Emperor Hael’s words. The scrolls were one but divided into three parts.
Kent picked up the first scroll, then moved to the second and picked it before finally arriving at the third. Everyone looking at him had a calm yet scared look.
The Cult of Wisdom — the one cult that only thirsts after wisdom and would do anything to acquire it. Their legacy is one fraught with evil, for when it comes to acquiring wisdom, they don’t mind killing millions to get it.
Kent merely held a curious look as he pieced the three pieces of the scroll together. The moment he arranged them well, a faint light came from the three pieces of the scrolls, merging them together.
He picked it up and turned to face everyone.
Strangely, Kent felt an external force compel him to read the content of the scroll to everyone.
“This is the Cult of Wisdom. If you are reading this, it means you have passed our trial. Congratulations. However, this is not over.
Ten years from today, the Cult of Wisdom will hold the Trial of Wisdom to pick the bearers of the Ten Seals of Wisdom collected over a span of 7 million years.
This is the invitation to the one who solved the puzzles. You are required to answer the call when the time is due, for this is your destiny.
As a sign of precaution, we have poisoned the ruler of this Alliance and the world. To prove your worth and receive the seal of wisdom, seek the last puzzle, solve it, and you will receive the antidote.
Failure will cause your leader to die along with half the world. And remember, this is the Cult of Wisdom; there is no escaping us.”
After reading the content, Kent finally understood why everyone became pale when they saw the name, “Cult of Wisdom.”
However, Kent didn’t panic. He looked at a complex puzzle left at the bottom of the scroll. His brain kicked into puzzle-solving mode as he tried to piece the puzzle together. A few minutes later, he figured it out.
At the same time, the quest was updated, giving him the next task. Kent immediately paid attention to it.

Life Emperor Hael looked at Kent with a raised brow.
“Come with me,” he waved his hand, and Kent felt his body move. The next second, they were several miles away from Miracle City. They stood inside a flying ship large enough to hold many people.
The speed at which it was going was several times faster than Kent could comprehend. In fact, it was going so fast that he wasn’t even willing to consider whether any of his flying treasures could match it.
’I don’t have 80 billion yet, so I can get the divine-grade flying treasures, but I am sure they wouldn’t fly faster than this,’ Kent thought, turning to Life Emperor Hael.
“Where are we going?”
“Lison City to see the Empress.”
“Oh. But shouldn’t we be going to Slaxson City instead? It is the location of the next puzzle.”
“Are you sure?” Life Emperor Hael asked, and Kent nodded.
Though he still couldn’t truly understand why they feared the Cult of Wisdom so much, he could tell they knew more than he did, and so they were all acting more strangely than usual.
Even so, he also understood that perhaps Life Emperor Hael was just scared for the life of the Empress and half the planet. In fact, news had already spread to many cities, warning them of the danger looming over Planet Manelaus.
However, to Kent, they just had to get the puzzle, and everything would take care of itself. Those already leaving the planet were just overreacting.
Life Emperor Hael turned the ship toward Slaxson City, and they started traveling there.
“We will get the puzzle, and then we will use a teleportation gate to get to Lison City,” Life Emperor Hael said, already praying in his heart that things would end up well, that Kent would be able to solve the next puzzle.
If he fails, then the Empress will die and, like the Cult of Wisdom wrote, half of the planet will die with her.
To someone like Kent, who hadn’t encountered the Cult of Wisdom before, it would sound like a joke; however, to them, this was serious.
Kent wanted to strike up a conversation with the Life Emperor, but looking at him pacing back and forth, Kent held back.
The journey to Slaxson City took four hours. By the time they reached 10,000 km from it, three Heavenly Ascension stage experts met them and led them into the city.
News had already reached them, and so they were prepared to receive them.
“This is not how I expected my first day in this world to go,” Kent muttered, flying toward a magnificent city made from a strange stone, blending green and blue colors.
“The city lord has already arranged 10,000 mercenaries to help in the search,” one of the Heavenly Ascension stage experts said.
Kent looked at them and squinted his eyes.
“No need to use that many people. Just take me to the Grand Mercantile Store; the puzzle is there.”
“Are you sure?” the man asked, turning to Life Emperor Hael.
“Listen to him. He was the one who solved the puzzles.” Thanks to this reveal, the three Heavenly Ascension stage experts no longer questioned Kent.
They led him toward the direction of the store while Life Emperor Hael followed behind.
