Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System - Chapter 910: The Apocalypse (14)

Chapter 910: The Apocalypse (14)
The more Lady Liora Kill, the darker the Yin half of the circle gets.
As this was happening, somewhere on the battlefield, Vari, who was making sure Lani was okay, turned slightly and looked in the direction of Lady Liora.
“The Yin-Yang Death Circle.” On Vari’s forehead, the same circle appeared, but unlike Lady Liora, she had a perfect union, showing her life and death were balanced.
Of course, as the one heralded as the Mother of Assassins, she was destined to weave both life and death in perfect union.
However, Lady Liora wasn’t having it easy, for she had never truly managed to comprehend life as she had planned. She had made some progress, but it wasn’t enough to balance things out.
This was part of the reasons why she refused to join any Pill Alliance. She wasn’t looking for fame, for she was rather after life.
During her life as the Silent Angel, after many kills, she awakened the Yin-Yang Death Circle and quickly comprehended the essence of death, allowing her to gain control of the ’Yin’ aspect of her power.
However, the ’Yang’ was something she had been trying to comprehend for 15,000 years. Her master did her best to help her, and she had also done her best to gain some understanding.
However, with a great battle right at her doorstep, she knew it was time for her to fight, and so she dropped all caution and chose to kill.
But that also meant all her progress over the past 15,000 years was being washed down the drain.
Naturally, that was bad, and Vari, who knew this, chose to help her not because she was obligated to, but because she couldn’t in good conscience watch a fellow assassin fall into the darkness.
She just couldn’t, not when they were fighting for the same cause.
“She is losing control,” Vari noted the change, so she turned toward Elaine. “Sweet baby sister Elaine, can you give me one of the Leaves of Life?”
Elaine, who was commanding the power of death, looked at Vari and then nodded. She extended her left arm, and a small golden leaf flew toward Vari.
“Thank you.” Vari moved through the shadows, and soon she was beside Lady Liora.
“Take this. Press it against your forehead and let the energy flow through your body.” Vari didn’t explain why she gave her the leaf, but Liora could already sense an extremely potent life energy coming from it, so she took it and did as she was told.
The moment the leaf touched her forehead, she felt her body lighten, and then a powerful life energy filled her.
“Allow it to flow through your body.”
Vari instructed, and Lady Liora did as she was told. After a few more minutes, she felt her eyes gain a new clarity, and naturally, she sensed she had taken a step toward comprehending the essence of life.
Vari nodded, seeing the Yin-Yang Death Circle slowly start to stabilise.
“It isn’t a permanent fix, for you still have to comprehend Life. However, the energy running through your body will aid you, so go into seclusion right after the battle.”
“Thank you,” Lady Liora said, thanking Vari, who merely nodded and vanished, appearing beside Lani, who was doing her best to wipe as many tattoos off her body.
On one side of the battlefield, Zaila was hovering in the air, four runic symbols revolving around her. Her hands were moving in the air, making her appear like a music conductor.
However, if one looked much closer, they would see she was doing more than just moving her hands through the air.
What many weren’t seeing was that she was pulling on invisible threads, each coated in life energy and soul energy. If Dori were to see her now, she would be very proud.
“Almost there,” Zaila muttered, looking at the strings before her.
“Zaila, what is the update?” Kaizo asked, seeing the pressure mounting on his teammates. Fighting thousands of Spirit Ascension, Kings, and Emperors wasn’t that simple for beings merely in the Core formation stage.
“I am almost there, Kaizo, no need to keep asking every few seconds.”
Below her, hundreds of thousands of Vampires lay passed out.
Kaizo looked at Zaila for a split second before a smirk appeared on his lips, and he muttered, “What an uptight beauty Master has in his harem.”
“I heard that,” Zaila didn’t look at Kaizo, but she smiled, focusing intently on her work.
If what she was doing was successful, then they would gain more men to face the danger that would pour out from the Forsaken Door the moment the seal loses its power.
And since Yi Lai couldn’t use the same attack on the door twice, it was safe to say that the moment the seal was lifted, the true danger of the battle would come through.
So Kaizo and his team had to hurry, for the clock was ticking.
“Almost there,” Zaila muttered again, weaving the memory strands like she was a Mind Weaver.
Suddenly, a powerful blood energy burst out, covering the entire battlefield. Many turned and looked in the direction from which the explosion came.
There was blood mist everywhere, hiding the one who caused the explosion.
The mist was thick and contained so much death qi that it caused the disciples still standing at the edge of the battlefield to turn pale, some even passing out.
They hadn’t been under that much aura, not even when the Spirit Emperors appeared. However, this blood mist was so potent that they started collapsing one after another.
Sylara, who had been in the air for almost an hour, revealed herself from the mist, exuding a powerful blood aura.
She was clad in her black, spiky, jagged armour, her claws extending a few inches longer this time.
When everyone saw her, their backs broke into a cold sweat.
If Kent were around, he would laugh and call the Evil One-Eyed Demoness a mega evil, for that is what she had become.
Of course, Sylara was relatable, for on a normal day, she had two eyes just like everyone else. That change was thanks to having a True Name.
However, hovering in the air with her bloody claws exuding danger, she had turned into her battle form, now having only one eye, and it was red, burning with blood flames.
When she took a step, the space beneath her feet cracked, but it closed the next second. However, the more steps she took, the more these cracks continued to appear.
When she was finally hovering above the battlefield, she unleashed a powerful aura that affected everyone. The effect was more devastating on the Forsaken warriors than on her side.
“Uhm, Madam Vampire, time for you to get back to work… We need all Claws on deck,” Kaizo said to Sylara, who glanced at him before turning back to the Forsaken warriors.
“Blood Transformation,” Sylara muttered.
“First Seal.” A blood-red rune appeared on her forehead, radiating a potent blood and death qi.
“Blood Hunger.”
Her red eye lit up, and a beam so powerful it cut through hundreds of Forsaken warriors shot out. Some had holes in them with many severed in half.
“Hahaha… That’s what I am talking about,” Kaizo laughed, feeling a hidden energy rise within him. “Give them hell, Sylara.”
The One-Eyed Demoness moved, and death followed.
