Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System - Chapter 913: The Apocalypse (17)

Chapter 913: The Apocalypse (17)
If Soul Cultivators are regarded as dangerous, then Mind Cultivators are a calamity.
Zaila is a Mind Cultivator, and a terrifying one at that.
She had great control over her abilities to the point that if Kent were to measure against her in skill mastery, he would find that Zaila had perfect mastery over all her skills.
This means she could use them flawlessly, and that was exactly what she did.
In a battle that defied all odds, she knew they needed an army and, more importantly, they needed a disposable army that couldn’t disobey commands.
The vampires who were planning on using the chaos of the battle to slip through the cracks and escape never had the chance.
Zaila didn’t allow their plans to bear fruit, for she knocked them out before they could even think of it. Of course, she could have killed them using her strongest attack, which was a skill called ’Mind Bomb’.
However, she merely put them to sleep and chose to weave their memories. Of course, she could have done that by merely controlling their minds.
However, knowing that using a skill to control their minds would limit their combat prowess, Zaila took the long way, and that was the complete weaving of their memories.
She first wiped their memories clean and then wove new ones for them. In this new reality, they were loyal warriors of General Zaila.
In a way, she turned them into dummies she could command, and they would listen to her orders without any resistance while fighting using their peak abilities.
“Clear the battlefield as quickly as you can,” Zaila commanded, and the 140,000-plus vampires charged forward and started killing like crazy.
They were stronger than the sect and the warriors of Sonox combined, so their battle power was very high. This made the battle much more lively.
The blood curse was having the most impact, to the point that aside from Sylara, Uncle Drake, and Lani, alongside the vampires, everyone else had retreated.
“These are Tier 14 Recovery Pills. They will speed up your recovery.” Lady Liora handed out hundreds of pill bottles to the warriors, causing many to bow down toward her.
With only two minutes left for the seal to come down, Kaizo called Uncle Drake back and handed him the ’Leaf of Life’.
The moment he took it, the fatigue he felt was washed away, leaving him with an abundance of energy.
“I have a feeling our winning or losing will be determined by the danger that will be passing through that gate any moment from now,” Lady Enzi said, standing beside Lady Liora and Sect Leader Deimos.
“This is a win-or-lose battle in which either we die or they do. Naturally, I plan on ascending, so I won’t be dying today,” Sect Leader Deimos said as he turned to Lady Liora and Enzi. “When it comes to it, I will burn my life force to keep going.”
The two raised their brows but didn’t say anything. They knew he meant business, and as someone who valued his life above everything, they knew he wouldn’t make this decision if he didn’t have life to spare.
As someone who was only at the Core Formation stage, his lifespan should have ended when he turned 15,000 years old. However, he had more years to live than a cockroach.
This was a result of the limits he had broken on his body.
The moment one breaks a limit, their lifespan is doubled. So for someone like Old Deimos, who had broken his 8th limit, he had more years to spare.
“Old Sword would be pissed if he found out a battle of this magnitude happened just a few months after he ascended.”
Sect Leader Deimos laughed.
Though he didn’t appear to be the social type, he actually had a good relationship with every last elder in the sect.
“Let’s just end this as fast as we can.” Right when Lady Liora said those words, the Forsaken Gate shook, and a powerful aura came from it. Then the green colour slowly started turning red.
Kaizo floated over the battlefield, and his voice boomed as he spoke, “Whatever comes through that door is an enemy, and as such, we must kill them. However, if it is beyond you, then kindly retreat. There is no shame in retreating.
That said, use your trump cards and don’t allow the enemy to overwhelm us.”
His words ended with a powerful boom that broke the sound barrier. Through the gate, five powerful figures flew through at a speed that sent a shockwave across the entire battlefield.
An oppressive pressure fell from the sky, causing all who were hovering in the air to come crashing down, Kaizo included.
Everyone coughed up a mouthful of blood, with many passing out instantly.
“Ants… time for you to meet your end.”
Inside the tower, Vexthra’s body shook, and a faint divine aura came from her body, but she held herself back. Though she looked very pale.
“Heavenly Ascension… however, are they going to—” Her words came to a halt when she saw two ethereal beauties appear from Unity’s forehead.
“This…” Her expression changed from shock to fear.
On the battlefield, the moment the five appeared, Unity’s two Primordial Spirit bodies emerged, each radiating the aura of a Spirit Lord.
Naturally, among her sisters, she was the only one whose Primordial Spirits had not yet started walking the Ancient Godly Path. This meant they still had their Tier 18 cultivation bases.
Feisty held a bow and arrow in her firm grip, and Blossom wielded a much larger paintbrush.
In Unity’s hand, a thick arrow appeared. She sat down in a lotus posture and started to channel her energy into the arrow.
“Give me ten minutes, you two.” Unity’s two Primordial Spirit bodies nodded, and they charged toward the five Heavenly Ascension stage Forsaken Elders that had appeared.
“Relax, everyone, we will hold them back.” Blossom was the first to attack. She waved the paintbrush and made quick, decisive strokes that mirrored her painting on a canvas.
“Why don’t we take this somewhere more private?” She pressed the brush forward, and the entire 12 km before them turned into a painting on a canvas. The five Forsaken Elders were immediately caught within.
“Feisty’s Lazy Art Domain!” Blossom activated the domain she had come up with on a whim, and in an instant, a 12 km-wide canvas covered the sky.
“This is… unbelievable.” Vexthra, who had been worried, sighed slightly when she saw the painting appear. Though she hadn’t expected Unity to unleash both spirit bodies of hers, she sighed in relief, knowing that inside a domain, the creator has some leeway.
Also, she could sense that the arrow in Unity’s hands wasn’t simple, and since she requested only ten minutes, her spirit bodies would be able to hold on, or at least not die.
The next second, 70,000-plus Forsaken warriors ranging from Spirit Ascension to Spirit Emperors appeared through the door, joining the ones already there.
