Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System - Chapter 915: The Apocalypse (19)

Chapter 915: The Apocalypse (19)
Kaizo didn’t even have to say it, for Vari was already on the move when she saw Unity falling with the five Forsaken Elders. With her speed, she caught Unity before she could come down 6 meters to the ground.
She vanished, and a second later, she appeared alone.
The five forsaken elders slammed hard into the ground, showing they had died long before they even landed on the ground.
“Elaine, it is up to you two now.”
Kaizo charged forward, and the rest followed.
The death of the five Heavenly Ascension stage experts was what he was waiting for, and now that they had died, nobody would be able to suppress them.
Unity sacrificed a lot for that one shot, and it paid off quite well.
They clashed again, and this time, even Kaizo knew they were out of their league. However, as someone with an unyielding personality, Kaizo didn’t back down, and neither did the rest of the legion and the harem.
However, a few minutes into it, many started retreating.
“Elaine!” Kaizo’s voice boomed as she slammed into the ground. His right arm broke from the force of the hammer that slammed into his body.
Elaine didn’t respond to the call. Instead, she remained standing with her eyes closed. A few seconds later, a tombstone rose from the ground and hovered behind her.
“Death Emergence.”
She said the name of the skill, then began to chant some words that only she understood. However, the effect of those chants was immediately made known.
All over the battlefield, purple circles began to appear beneath the dead bodies that she had marked several minutes back. The moment the circle appeared, the body would vanish, and a tombstone would appear in its place.
As more bodies started vanishing and more tombstones kept appearing, Elaine started turning pale. However, she endured until she had 10,000 tombstones all over the battlefield.
By then, Elaine had turned pale white. However, she willed herself not to pass out until she unleashed the skill.
“Death Uprising.”
On one side of the battlefield, a deadly bony hand burst from the ground and tore the earth open as a figure rose up. The aura around this bony man was far above the Core formation stage.
The figure who looked like he had been dead for years now appeared and lunged at the nearest forsaken warrior with a force so great, even the Spirit Kings were shaken.
This scenario repeated 9,999 times across the battlefield.
When the last dead body appeared, Elaine passed out and vanished from sight.
The Death Uprising drained her, but she had added some death warriors to her side.
However, even after all this, the forsaken warriors were just too powerful.
Just one Spirit Lord was already enough to handle hundreds of bugs before him. However, with people like Aetheris, Uncle Drake, Kaizo, and the Eternal Wrath Legion on the battlefield, they weren’t having an easy slaughter.
The forsaken Race went all out, and with more appearing through the door, the danger only seemed to be mounting by the second.
“Retreat!” Queen Jascia shouted, causing the half-elves still on the battlefield to move back.
“Thalirion, take them away,” she said to her husband, who looked at her for a few seconds before he nodded and took his people away.
The moment her people were in a safe place, Queen Jascia unleashed her poison side, causing her strength to rise. “For my home world and the people I love, I will fight to the very end.” She charged forward only to be pushed back.
However, she didn’t back down and charged forward again. This time, she started burning her life force, which gave her the power to push her opponent back.
On the other side of the battlefield, the various kings and queens made the same call as Queen Jascia. However, they themselves remained, knowing only that death awaited them.
Naturally, the only reason they hadn’t died yet was because Alina switched from offence to making sure every last teammate had several layers of protection.
She was basically keeping them alive.
Twenty minutes later, Alina was dreadfully tired, so the pressure was even more on her sisters and teammates.
“Veydris!”
Kaizo called out when a spear arrived before Lady Enzi, who had no way to evade. However, just before the spear could stab her, Veydris appeared from the void and took off the attacker’s head before vanishing back again.
Aside from Alina, Veydris and Irina were the other two keeping everyone alive.
“This is madness,” Kaizo said as he pushed his bloodline power to the max, but he was barely keeping up with even the Spirit Sovereigns.
An hour later, the pressure was so much that half of the vampires were slaughtered along with the Tiger King and the Earth Dragon King.
They died bravely, but their sacrifice meant nothing when the battle was still at its peak and they were losing.
Surprisingly, one of the deadly weapons on the battlefield was in Lady Liora’s hands. She was like her codename, a silent angel of death claiming one life after the other.
Even when the pressure was mounting on them, she was among the few who kept killing like nothing had changed.
—
Meanwhile, inside the Forsaken World, the sky opened and a figure emerged, radiating an oppressive aura, the kind that caused the five Forsaken Elders to go down on their knees.
“Welcome, Forsaken Lord,” they greeted.
The man, though handsome, wore a frown on his face as he saw nothing around him aside from the five people kneeling before him.
“What is going on?” he asked.
Deva looked up and answered in the best way she could, “My Lord, we ran into some unexpected complications, so I had to deploy all the Forsaken army to go exterminate the world that awaits you.”
The frown on the man’s face deepened as he turned toward the door leading to Sonox.
“Let’s go end this farce. I don’t have much time and don’t intend to waste this avatar because you couldn’t subdue a mere Medium World.”
Deva cursed her negligence, but she led the way.
On the battlefield, everyone was sweating profusely.
“Everyone, fall back! We have to seal the crack now!” Kaizo shouted, and with that command, everyone started moving back.
The pressure was too much for them, so the next best thing was to contain their enemies in the formation that had previously sealed the vampires.
That was Alina’s backup plan, and now it was their only way. Though they aren’t sure how long it will hold them, they knew it was the only way to at least retreat and figure something out.
Those closer to the crack managed to move through and appear in Sonox. However, just when the main strike force was about to reach it, a powerful voice spoke, and everyone felt their bodies give out.
“Where do you think you are going?”
Every last warrior retreating toward the crack and those holding back the advancing Forsaken army crashed to the ground, unable to even lift a finger.
Vexthra, who saw this, felt her face pale, and for a moment, hate and resentment appeared in her eyes, but Unity grabbed her hand before she could vanish back to the battlefield.
“Don’t, big sister. We still have Val,” Unity said, and Vexthra turned to look at Val, whose eyes turned white, showing she had activated her trump card.
A powerful aura surged from her body, causing her to rise into the air.
She activated the Moon Goddess Descent, allowing her to free her teammates.
“Run!”
“Not on my watch.” The man took one step and appeared before Val. His fist moved and landed a powerful punch to Val’s stomach, sending her flying.
However, before she could land on the ground, he appeared overhead and landed another punch to her ribcage.
Val coughed a mouthful of blood, but she didn’t vanish away like she should have. With her presence, more of her teammates managed to pass through the crack.
So she knew that if she could hold on for a few more seconds, her friends could reach safety. However, she underestimated the Forsaken Lord.
“Die.” The man moved forward and kicked out this time, aiming for Val’s neck. The void beneath his foot cracked, revealing that he had put much more energy into that kick.
Val’s sister, who saw this, stopped retreating and lunged toward her, aiming to save her. However, they both knew it was futile. The man’s leg was already a few inches away, and they were meters away from her.
However, before the foot could land on her, a blood-red clawed hand tore through the void and grabbed hold of the leg.
“You dare lay hands on my wife!”
