Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System - Chapter 991: Taming Quest (5)

Chapter 991: Taming Quest (5)
“Monarch, are you sure we can trust this human?” Korgath, King of the Bladed Plains, asked. He is a towering, burly man with white hair tipped in silver. Although not particularly handsome, his hair gave him a classic yet distinctive look.
His arms are wrapped in molten armor plates made from silver flame.
Clearly, he had all the makings of a brute. Naturally, he qualifies to be one of the three Rulers under Orvath.
“I believe he is sincere and has what it takes to indeed make us have a more pleasant life. However, I don’t completely trust him just yet,” Orvath answered his subordinate, who turned and looked at Kent.
“Human, you may see us as a Bull, but we Minotaurs aren’t that easy to trick. So, if this is a trick, better stop now before I smash your head into bits.”
Kent smiled, looking at the six figures standing beside Orvath. Two females and four males, each a Minotaur in their own right.
“I don’t play tricks, Korgath. This is real, so be ready to become so much better in the coming days.”
Kent turned to Sylvara, “You can show them.”
Sylvara, who had been waiting for this moment, nodded and transformed into her beast form, shocking Orvath and his six subordinates.
“No way,” Selra, Queen of the Shattered Hooves, exclaimed, her expression showing shock. “You have awakened your innate beast body.”
“Indeed. Lord Kent helped me just a day ago.” Sylvara chose to address Kent formally in public in order to raise his image in the eyes of these arrogant beasts.
Hearing her words, Orvath and his subordinates started to see Kent in a different light.
“I only had one pill, so I gave it to Sylvara. However, once I get back to my home world, I will ensure every last one of you awakens your innate beast bodies.”
Hearing his words and looking at Sylvara completely won them over. Kent could tell they all wanted to become his subordinates in the hope of one day awakening their innate beast bodies.
As beasts, awakening their innate beast body was like awakening their true self. It is what defines them as beasts.
Of course, for a beast to be able to reach the immortal stage, it must awaken its innate beast body.
Some say once a beast awakens their beast body, their true potential will be unlocked.
Kent knew this, and, thanks to his alchemy skills, he knew he could help them.
“I will be adding your seven to my beast army.”
They nodded in agreement to Kent’s words, already aching for when Kent would help them awaken their innate beast bodies.
—
Like what happened with Sylvara’s subordinates, all seven newly added beasts were left dumbfounded.
Not only did they become stronger, but each had awakened an innate ability that would forever grow with them.
“This is just too much,” Orvath said, looking at his glowing fist. “I have heard of minotaurs possessing a unique innate ability called Indestructible Fist. They said it can break through anything regardless of what enchantment is placed on them.”
He flexed his muscles, looking more closely at his fist…
“Who would have thought I would awaken such an ability?”
He looked at Kent and bowed slightly. “Thank you.”
“No need to thank me,” Kent said, clearly happy. “After all, we are now a family, and a family must support each other.”
The concept of family isn’t new to the beasts, so they understood Kent meant well.
Seeing that he had their attention, Kent put his next plan into action. “To make things quick, if you can use your people to gather these ingredients, awakening your innate bodies and breaking more limits wouldn’t be impossible.”
Kent gave them the ingredient, and like he expected, they got right to work.
His cauldron is ready; all he needs are the ingredients.
After all that was handled, he asked Orvath to escort him and Sylvara to Lotus Inferno, where Zeraphine, the Flame Lotus Monarch, lives.
“So you plan on taming all seven of us, huh?” Orvath asked as they started their three-day journey to Zeraphine’s domain.
“Yes. Only by getting all seven monarchs can I confidently face the Planet King without worry.”
“Well, Zeraphine is a menace, but she and I are on good terms, so we might just have a shot with her. However, I can’t make any promises since she can be crazy sometimes.” Orvath smiled, knowing the woman they were going to could be unstable sometimes.
“Don’t worry, I have ways to tame crazy women.” Kent gave Sylvara a mysterious smile. “They are the easiest to tame.”
The snake lady smirked and turned away from Kent.
After awakening her innate body, she had become much more mature and more human.
Her emotions were now on point, and she seemed to have developed a keen sense of humor that Kent just couldn’t get enough of.
“Just be careful around Zeraphine. She is unpredictable,” Orvath warned, and Kent took his words to heart.
—
Meanwhile, far in the cosmos, on a planet whose surface is made entirely of glass, stood a temple crafted from brown crystals.
The temple had the shape of an eagle.
The inside was designed with attention to detail. Everything was placed correctly, and on the walls, images of masked individuals were hung in dark glass frames.
One would wonder why images of people who could not be recognized were displayed.
However, a closer look would reveal a mark on each mask indicating numbers carved, ranging from one to twelve.
At the moment, 12 people, each clad in dark clothes and faces hidden behind masks, were seated around a large brown table.
Their masks also bore the same markings as the images on the wall.
These markings served as a means for people to identify the leaders of the Order of Whispering Shadows.
They were said to be one of the most dangerous shadow organizations in the universe. Their legacy was one that shook the heavens and broke the earth for years.
However, they went silent many years ago when tragedy struck at their front door.
This tragedy was, of course, why these 12 masked people were meeting in the headquarters of the Whispering Shadows after millions of years.
“The shadow whispers,” the one with number one on his mask said, and the others responded.
“And the night rose.”
“I believe many of you are wondering why I called such an urgent meeting,” Number One began, addressing the leaders of the Whispering Shadows.
He took out a feather from his space ring and placed it on the table. Right when he did, a star map appeared from the center of the table.
He pointed forward, and a lone star, dim and barely alive, magnified.
When the people around the table saw this, their bodies tensed and their auras flared, showing that all of them were Celestials.
“I believe we all recognize what we saw and know what this symbolizes.”
They nodded, each seething behind their mask.
Millions, perhaps billions of years ago, a lone figure, unrecognizable even by the gods, appeared, and with him, the legacy the Order of Whispering Shadows had cultivated for years came crashing down.
He killed every last leader of the Whispering Shadow Order, setting them back many years. However, they weren’t dead, and today, they were meeting because they sensed their foe had risen.
If nothing could move them, then today, they knew a common enemy still lived; thus, they must come together to eliminate him.
“The Faceless Assassin still lives. However, this time, we must ensure his legend is cut short,” Number One said, his aura filled with killing intent.
