Primordial Villain With A Slave Harem - Chapter 1147: Broken Primordial

Chapter 1147: Broken Primordial
She giggled, high and musical, as her hand dipped into her pocket ring. A cascade of gold coins poured forth, spilling into the air in a glittering flood.
The coins spun, whirled, and churned like a collection of miniature suns, each one glowing with unnatural brilliance.
Where did she get them?
As the brunette woman already alluded to, they were donated by Black Fang. When Kaede and Lilith attacked her home, nearly everything was ruined. The ancient woman wasn’t quite known for immaculate preparations and dutifulness.
But Orianna was.
The Flower Queen was the day-to-day leader of the drug department, doing nearly all of Black Fang’s work. As such, the pink-haired, tanned beauty had a ring full of coins on her hand.
But alas, she died. She was currently lying beneath the dirt in their home, letting her weird magic do its work.
However, Black Fang had retrieved the woman’s ring and given it to Vex, saying it was payment for the accommodation.
The Hexwitch brimmed brightly when that happened and rushed to her hubby with childlike glee, saying that the old lunatic was showing signs of leaving her shell. She was still very reserved, but she was showing the first signs of change.
Because, as Vex had already mentioned, Black Fang was indeed a weird woman who had two modes of function. The ’I’m at home’ and the ’I’m not at home.’
She has been a cold, distant, and quite ominous woman ever since she arrived at the stronghold because she was out of her element. But the Hexwitch hoped things would change soon.
Anyhow.
The gold was handed over to Jasmine, who was now the group’s official finance manager.
Naturally, she did not bring all of it here. Black Fang, or rather Orianna, had over 50,000 gold coins on her at the time of her death.
Most of it, the woman left alone to invest in worthwhile things so they would never be penniless ever again.
Only a small portion was left with her as fuel for her spell.
Seeing the glowing coins, the nearest soldiers paused, blinking in confusion as wealth itself defied gravity, defied reality. Jasmine’s voice rang out like a queen declaring her dominion.
“[Gilded Legion].”
The coins erupted in a dazzling burst of radiance. One by one, figures began stepping out of the golden storm.
The Legion commanded by the Primordial Villain’s beloved Tyrant of Commerce arrived.
They did not stop at a few dozen. A hundred emerged. Then hundreds.
The battlefield trembled beneath the synchronized march of conjured wealth given flesh. Each soldier sported the strength of a level forty combatant stat-wise. When one looked into their eyes, they found twin orbs glowing with loyalty not to a nation, not to a crown, but to Jasmine’s will alone.
The Fujimori formation faltered, shouts turning to gasps as the golden army filled the field, stretching beyond sight in endless ranks.
“Go, my legion. Protect my allies, slay my enemies. Bring glory upon your summoner and her family!”
The Gilded Legion raised their weapons in unison.
…
Quinlan’s mind’s eyes shone as a cascade of blue text flashed before him.
[Your Elite Soul, Ito, has slain an enemy! You have gained 30,000 XP!]
[Your Elite Soul, Veyrin, has slain an enemy! You have gained 2,000 XP!]
[Your Lesser Soul has slain an enemy! You have gained 4,500 XP!]
[Your Elite Soul, Eve, has slain an enemy! You have gained 27,000 XP!]
[Your Lesser Soul has slain an enemy! You have gained 20,000 XP!]
The messages seemed to pour in endlessly.
Ito. Veyrin. Eve. His three elites.
Lesser Souls did their job as well, killing in droves, cutting and tearing, their kills feeding into him in a way no one else could see.
Quinlan grinned inwardly. His greedy heart, craving the sweet taste of progression, was beating excitedly. This was the true power of summoner-type classes. The others might see his summons as mere tools, but to him, they were extensions of his will.
As the Primordial Villain, the one true Necromancer, every kill his soldiers earned became his own. Their labor was his harvest, their victories his triumph.
And the best part was…
[Your Elite Soul, Eve, has been slain in battle!]
Quinlan’s grin didn’t falter.
Because his elites had one truly broken trait.
A flash of cold light streaked back toward him. Eve’s soul returned, funneled into the curved saber in his hands, the Soul Reaper. The weapon pulsed once.
Quinlan raised the blade.
“[Awaken]!”
The saber flared to life before coalescing into form. Eve emerged from the void with her body reconstituted in an instant, her eyes blazing with the same determination as before her death.
It cost him mana. That was all.
As long as their souls returned to him, his elites could die again and again… and he would send them straight back into the slaughter.
This feature was what allowed him to send his Elite Souls on suicide missions. The Lesser souls would die forever when slain, returning to the Goddess’s caring hands most likely.
However, Elites did not. They were bound to him on a much deeper level.
This was why, for example, he could carelessly summon his elites back in the capital. When he sent them on a mission, he knew they would all die in, namely, holding the soldiers back until they got Jasmine’s mom out.
Though sadly, he did not get much XP back then, due to them having been slaughtered rapidly by the number of enemy soldiers and their prowess.
Now, the battlefield was set up in a much more favorable way. Not only were there many high-level people on his side who helped keep the enemy’s heavy hitters at bay, but Quinlan was here only to slay. He did not have to worry about rescuing hostages while the lives of his girls were at risk on a battlefield set by the king himself.
That was a race against time and impossible odds.
This… This was a proper battle.
“Mine!” Raika seemed to agree when she dashed forward and punched a Fujimori soldier in the face, killing him on the spot. She did so just before Quinlan’s saber could reach the man.
The Brutalizer’s eyes shone with an immense competitive edge as she looked at him and decreed, “Seventy enemies killed!”
Quinlan grinned.
