Chapter 526: Turning Crown Academy, Beginning As Grim Students
Almond and Lily exited the resting space and found themselves on a vast platform.
Immediately after that, they got notifications.
[ Based on your rankings, you can apply for any Academy you desire. Here’s the list of Academies based on their tiers. ]
Almond and Lily already knew what to choose.
Admiral Rudra and others had already selected the same academy.
Turning Crown Academy—an academy created by Grimlord Spilcrown, where John Wicked worked as a teacher.
“Did the others already go there?” Lily curiously asked as she and Almond selected the Turning Crown Academy.
“I can’t seem to contact them via the geneline connection. Maybe they already entered the academy.”
[ You have applied for the Turning Crown Academy. Please wait for a minute as they check your evaluation of the Grim Student Examination. ]
But not even five seconds later, both of them got the approval.
[ You will be transported to the Turning Crown Academy in three seconds. All the best in your new journey. ]
Suddenly, Almond’s body shook as he saw someone. “That…”
Lily also saw him, and her eyes widened. “Isn’t that the guy we tried hard to find but only got his photos?”
“Roser-” Almond dashed forward and also used his power, but it didn’t work at all, and he vanished as three seconds passed.
…
Almond and Lily arrived in different places.
It was a small wooden house with a single bed and nothing else. A window on each wall and a door on the fourth wall.
Almond’s eyes were cold. “He is a Grim Student. Perfect. I thought I would never find him or he had died, but now…”
“Devil Roseramon, stay alive well until I get to you.”
Almond then focused on the current situation and checked the notifications he got.
[ You may access the Student Lobby and other places of the academy with the Rune imprinted on your hand. ]
[And you have five days left to finalize your residency in this freshman mountain and join or create your club. After five days, the first study class for freshmen Grim Students will begin. ]
Almond checked his hand and saw a symbol resembling an exotic crown on the back of his hand.
After infusing a bit of life energy, he got the interface in his mind.
< Student Lobby > ( From here, you can access other facilities of the academy )
< Grimverse Arena > ( This is the arena where all Grim Students of all academies fight each other for prestige and power. >
< Grimverse Student City > ( A hub of Grim Students from all academies. )
’Interesting.’
Almond then left the house and flew up.
He was at the base of the mountain with a row of small houses like his.
But further on the mountain, there were bigger and better houses.
And at the very top of the mountain, 10,000 meters up, was a large palace.
A second later, Lily suddenly appeared beside him.
“Are we taking that palace first or visiting the places?”
Lily locked her arm into Almond’s arm. “As for that Devil Roseramon, I think Mr. John Wicked should have an easier time finding him.”
“True. We are supposed to wait until he makes contact with us, so let’s visit the places first and gather up with other Regalons.”
“Student Lobby?”
“Yep. The club creation process should be there. Let’s finish that first and gather the Regalons.”
Almond and Lily disappeared and arrived on a large disk-type platform in what seemed like outer space with giant floating gates in different designs and themes, and names of what facilities they entailed above them.
The students were scarce here, numbering a couple of hundred, with some going in or out of the gates.
Almond and Lily sensed the presence of other Regalons right away, and the connection of their Geneline returned as all of them were present here.
The group was surprised and smiled.
“We’ve been here for five days already and were wondering where you two got stuck.”
“We decided to take a bit of a break before coming here.”
The ones who managed to get into the academy were Admiral Rudra, Silvester, Hiroshi, Arjun, Julian, Big D, Kexell, Viktor, Bianca, and Liang.
The rest of the old monsters and Grim Breakers, like Natalia and other younger generations, were not here.
“We made the club already.” Admiral Rudra waved his hand as Almond and Lily got an invitation.
Club Regalon.
[Do you wish to join Club Regalon?]
Almond and Lily accepted.
Right after that, Admiral Rudra switched ownership and made Almond the leader of the club.
“It doesn’t matter who the leader is.” Almond wryly smiled.
“It matters.” Admiral Rudra smiled. “You are the origin of Regalons, and the strongest should be the leader. Life here is cutthroat. Full of competition. We’ve been here for five days, and we know the general stuff.”
“Come, let’s get you familiar with everything,” Silvester said with a grin. “First, we’ll go to the city. It’s going to be an important part of our lives as Grim Students.”
Grimverse Student City.
The group disappeared and arrived in the plaza of a city, one could only call it chaotic.
Almond and Lily looked at it from a bird’s eye view by sending their senses high up to look at the city properly.
The city felt like every block and street of it was owned by different individuals, and they designed them in their own style.
The whole city had exotic buildings, all kinds of skyscrapers, giant domes with some eccentric structure, and so on.
This city wasn’t meant to be for people to live in. It was a city of activity.
But the most striking part was the tower at the center of the city.
A tower that had massive circular balconies as its offshoot branches, where one could see structures as well.
“We heard that one of the requirements to graduate is to own a property in this city, be it alone or shared by a club as a club member.” Admiral Rudra said as he looked at Almond and Lily. “The prices are steep, and even steeper if we want to get a proper one on this tower. There are a total of ten properties of this tower, and all of them are owned by the ten biggest and strongest clubs currently active.”
“Interesting.” Lily grinned. “So what is the currency?”
“It’s Crown Points. We can earn crown points by visiting the city’s only neutral building.” Big D turned his head behind to see a large disk-like building with giant screens floating around on top of it, showing various news.
“That’s the Mission Center. Students can accept missions there and earn Crown Points by completing them.” Admiral Rudra continued to fill in Almond and Lily about the details. “Crown Points are everything here.”
“We also need them to use the facilities you saw in the Student Lobby of our academy.”
“And there’s another way to earn Crown Points that you two will love,” Arjun said with a chuckle. “Grimverse Arena.”
“Now that sounds fun.” Almond chuckled.
“Oh, definitely. Once you see what kind of Arena it is, you’ll like it even more.” Kexell laughed. “We are done here, so let’s go check it out. After that, we can go on the mission we took.”
“The missions here are hard to get, by the way,” Kexell added. “Good missions, especially. Because two groups of people can’t choose the same mission.”
“Did you complete any mission? What kinds of missions are there?” Lily curiously asked.
“Well, just see the mission we took.” Admiral Rudra said. “Check the mission tab in Club Interface you just got.”
Almond and Lily checked it.
