Re-Awakening: I Became a Pay To Win Boss Monster - Chapter 471: Free?

Chapter 471: Free?
A/N: Did a little oopsie in the last Chapter. He spent 74 years here, which makes him 93 years old, not 74. Also, Dragon Force is 5,000, not 2,500. My bad.

With those thoughts, he got back on track.
Aside from the brain and eyes, he also realized he could use his demonic horn to inflict ailments.
The Blood Blade and Neural Collapse combo wouldn’t have blown my eye out if I cast it through my horn, Rael thought with a faint smile.
Finally, there was only a single one left, and it was fairly straightforward.
Using his body directly, such as fists and legs, he could infuse certain skill attributes. It was basically what Burger had taught him, and it was very damn convenient.
Rael hummed. Blood is a bit weird though. I can cast it through everything, but it’s the only mana type that needs me to injure myself to use it.
So in the end, the type of organ he used determined the output.
Pretty damn simple.
Rael stretched his back, causing a loud crack to resound as he smiled in satisfaction.
I can definitely use the full Dragon Form now too, Rael thought and extended his hand.
A small crystal appeared, looking like a sharp razor blade. Then, a moment later, a mirror that he immediately used to shave his long beard. After that, Rael was pretty much done with all he wanted to do here.
He didn’t touch the Law of Plasma, nor did he touch the Law of Destruction. All he had been doing for the last, apparently 74 years, was practicing time and some other nonsense.
It turned out that the only way to increase his control range was through repetition. There was no shortcut.
“And now…” Rael muttered, closing his eyes.
Focusing the Time Mana into his brain, Rael pushed it outward. In an instant, the golden pulse shot beyond the 100-meter mark, which had been his highest only a little while ago, and continued going forward.
500 meters, 1,000 meters, 5,000 meters.
As it reached the 9,500-meter mark, Rael felt a bit of strain, but he pushed past it.
9,600 meters, 9,700 meters.
Blood began dripping down his nose as he was clearly reaching his limit. However, he couldn’t care less as he continued pushing the Time Mana ahead.
9,800 meters, 9,900 meters.
When it was down to the last hundred, Rael felt his consciousness fading, but he had already spent 74 unknowing years in here. He didn’t want to spend another minute more.
So with those thoughts in mind, Rael continued to push himself, nearing the last couple of meters before he would completely envelop the 10-kilometer radius sphere surrounding him.
May Zafira smite me down if I just spent 74 years and this wasn’t the solution, Rael thought in passing.
Finally, he was at the 9,999-meter mark. His body hurt like shit, and his powers didn’t seem to want to add that last number, as if something was holding him back.
But he wanted to get out of here. He wanted to solve the ultimatum Evelyn had given him, and lastly, he was dying to see Zafira.
And I guess… I haven’t seen Lilith in a while too…
Therefore, he pushed himself one final time as blood practically exploded out of his nose, but even so, at long last, his time control managed to encircle the entire 10-kilometer radius.
Nothing happened at first, and just as he thought it was a dead end, Rael suddenly felt in control of the entire sphere, almost as if it was his own to begin with.
Rael let out a relieved breath, and right as he was about to dissipate the sphere, he stopped, spotting a floating message that left him wide-eyed.
<The Angel Egg (???) is excited!>
<The Angel Egg (???) has decided which affinity they wanted!>
<Ding!>
<The Angel Egg (???) is about to hatch.>
“What the fuck?” Rael tilted his head. “Why now? Hey, you keep chiming in every now and again, which makes me think you’re alive. If that’s the case, why are you so quiet? Oh, and come on, hatch later or something. I’m busy now.”
Upon not getting an answer, Rael could only shake his head in disapproval. This little cocksucker had 74 years to make up its mind, but it did it in the last second.
But since Rael couldn’t exactly control his Angel Egg aside from tossing it away or breaking it, he simply let it be.
And with those final thoughts, Rael took a single deep breath, and in an instant, Time Mana flowed back into his body. To his surprise, the Time Mana was several times greater than what he’d used to create the 10-kilometer time zone.
But almost like a pleasant surprise…
<Ding!>
<You have successfully absorbed: Lowest Ranked Time Domain>
<Excess mana has been detected…>
<The user’s skill: Crystalline Nexus (Transcendent) is close to reaching max level, but is being stopped by insufficient user’s Grade. Required Grade to reach second stage of this skill: Grade 3.>
<ERROR!>
<Lowest Ranked Time Stop Domain’s excess mana is being used to break through the skill’s limits.>
Rael felt his body harden immediately as miniature blue crystals began appearing on his fingertips. They looked powerful enough to distort the space around them. Finally, after swirling around his fingertips for a few moments, they began to travel up his arm and eventually reach his face.
For a moment, he wasn’t sure what to do, but since the skill promised exponential rewards, Rael took it like a champ.
Or that was what he wanted to think. Instead, the crystals pierced straight through his skull, causing him to fall backward and momentarily lose focus.
Yet there was no pain, or even a damage number. Instead…
<Ding!>
<The skill: Crystalline Nexus (Transcendent) has undergone an evolution and mutation!>
<Processing…>
<Special Bonus Effect!>
<Mindforged Emperor (Runic)>
<Possible Future Evolutions: 1 | Cost: 1,000 Premium Coins>
A new evolution…? Rael froze. Wait… So as it stands now, I have 1 evolution left for every single one of my races…
Even the True Calamity Demon was one away from maxing out.
<True Calamity Demon (Celestial)>
<Possible Future Evolutions: 1 | Cost: 10,000 Premium Coins>
Sure, it was a little more expensive, but…
If I can max all three out and then merge them… Rael chuckled, already setting his sights high.
Some residual Time Mana was still flowing toward his heart, even after evolving the skill, so time hadn’t unfrozen yet.
And since that was the case, Rael decided to check out this evolved skill.
