Re-Awakening: I Became a Pay To Win Boss Monster - Chapter 517: Misdirection And Money

Chapter 517: Misdirection And Money
<Ding!>
<You have taken over the body of: Aaron Light>
Rael stared at Roger from the side as he began frantically looking around, trying to find Rael, or where he could have possibly gone.
There was a reason why Rael didn’t straight up go to where he wanted to, and that was to first make sure Roger was chasing a dead end.
And to do so, Rael reached for the sword around this body’s waist before pulling it out.
All eyes fell onto him for a few short seconds as he pointed the sword directly at Roger.
“What will you do, Roger? Will you kill your men?”
An abrupt pause followed, when all of a sudden, another soldier moved, unsheathing his blade. This time, he was only a few meters away from Roger.
“Or will you grasp at straws again? You know what you want to do, Roger. You want to defy Solenne, right? Why else would you be erasing your own memory?”
Then, another body unsheathed its sword, pointing it at Roger.
“Maybe you’re hiding something? But hey… Look how many of your trusted comrades are here. I’m sure they wouldn’t judge you.”
Right as Rael was about to switch again, Roger’s cane flickered.
Before he could get cut down, Rael switched to another body, this time one that was much further away, nearly in the back of the flock of people that watched Roger.
Damn… This bastard really just cut someone down. That might alert Solenne, so I’ll have to make this fast…
“Asher!” Roger called out, his voice booming through the courtyard. “Give back what you took from me, and I promise we can negotiate!”
Negotiate? Rael raised a brow. This is like me holding a shotgun to his forehead, and he offers me a cookie. Is he stupid?
Rael switched bodies to a soldier closest to Roger, standing in a pool of blood that formed from Roger severely wounding the previous body. He wasn’t dead, thankfully.
“While I do appreciate your training, we’re not friends,” Rael said, his smile widening. “However, if you survive for a month, then don’t hesitate to seek me out. I would appreciate a man of your talents as a subordinate, or maybe a close aide…”
“After all, since I already got roped into this shit, I might as well start my own faction, don’t you think?”
It was something Rael had thought about ever since he talked with Tiamat and Sylvia.
If the war between the Divine Realm and the Void Realm was inevitable, then he might as well become a powerhouse in the universe.
And for that, I’ll need to move things along. Gathering Divinity, becoming a constellation, recruiting powerful allies… Everything.
His words hung silently in the air, and just as silently, Rael smiled at Roger, and then switched bodies.
Before he knew it, Rael’s vision shifted to a soldier inside the Silver Palace.
He stood guard by an armory, and coincidentally, he had three pins, which, according to his memories, would technically allow him to enter the armory.
It’s not the armory from before though… This just seems like basic weapons and magical rations… But oh well, money is money, Rael thought, turning to the side.
There was a soldier standing right beside him, but before long, a sword hilt struck the nape of his neck, knocking him unconscious.
Thankfully, Solenne was too overconfident, so she didn’t lock the normal armory. And because of that, Rael simply pushed open the doors and began selling everything to the Premium Shop.

Jeez, this food is way too expensive, but… Let’s see here…
After he sold everything, Rael looked back into his memories and saw the entire outline of the Silver Palace.
Using that outline, Rael projected it inside his mind, which perfectly synergized with the Eternal Marionette skill, and now, he literally had a map which showed everyone in the Silver Palace.
To his surprise, Solenne wasn’t present in her throne room. Rather, the second, third, and fourth seats were missing too. Only Alcetas and Jashin remained in the palace.
And… From the way Alcetas is moving around, it seems like he’s realized something is happening. Rael put a hand on his chin. There are six vaults left. Of course, excluding the one I won’t try to enter again.
So with six vaults remaining, and Alcetas on the run, he decided it was best if he moved quickly to sell everything in each of the vaults.
And, by using Marionette Dominion, that was exactly what he did.

“Hehe…” Rael smiled. That’s over 6 trillion Trell. With this, I can definitely get some important power-ups. But alas, that’s for later, and now…
Rael combed through his mind map, and soon enough, he found the portal room, which the soldiers used in order to go on missions to liberate worlds.
However, there was one figure standing by the door, Alcetas.
There was no one inside the portal room, so he couldn’t just avoid him either.
So, it turned into a head-on fight, one that Rael wasn’t too keen on taking, but with his new skills, laws, abilities, Evelyn’s humbling, and his extra 74 years of experience, Rael knew that fighting head-on might just be possible.
But not only that, Rael now had another card to play:
Adam, who was Alcetas’s childhood friend, Milan Ansar.
Rael chuckled to himself and then put a hand over his heart, a smile appearing on his face.
Just like when I possessed Theo, I can feel the mana of this person… I can probably cast his skills.
So as it stood, Marionette Forge was simply a skill that he could use to create overpowered and loyal allies. Or at least, that was all he knew at the moment. Since it was a high-ranked skill, he was sure there was more.
Putting that aside, a resolute look appeared on his face.
In the next instant, he switched bodies to the guard closest to Alcetas, and with slow yet deliberate steps, Rael went to confront him.
