Chapter 634: Going To The Demonic Realm
The hierarchy of demons.
There were so many changes across the years.
The amount of powerful rulers also surprised Rael.
The first few people were Grade 9, and their fight destroyed several galaxies and killed billions of demons.
Instead of counting that as a calamity, they celebrated it and made it into a holiday.
From then on, there were challengers at Grade 10, tens of Grade 9’s, and hundreds, if not thousands, of Grade 8’s.
How could there be so many powerful demons back then?
He was sure that even Solenne didn’t have such powerful people running around.
Even her Five Seats weren’t at that high of a Grade.
As the years passed, more and more powerful beings emerged.
Thousands of Grade 9’s and hundreds of Grade 10’s.
Even further ahead in the future, Rael saw a Grade 11.
It was a being who seemed to be so powerful that not even thousands of Grade 10’s could handle him.
And yet, with time, more and more such beings emerged.
How were demons so powerful?
How were their numbers increasing when every single time one of the powerful demons fought, they killed trillions of demons?
Rael couldn’t understand it.
Eons passed in the blink of an eye, and with millions of Grade 11’s running around, he was speechless.
But suddenly, black lights descended all around the Grade 11’s.
None of them could react before the black lights enveloped them whole and caused them to vanish.
In the blink of an eye, millions of Grade 11’s disappeared.
The same phenomenon happened a couple of eons later with the Grade 10’s, then later with Grade 9’s.
Within just a few more eons, the number of powerful demons seemed to return to normal, but that only left Rael with more questions.
Who was it that could descend and get rid of so many of them?
The Universal Laws?
Before he could wonder further, the memories of the Eternal Dream ended and then started again, except this time, the Eternal Dream was in some realm without any shape or form.
It was the Dream Realm.
The amount of expertise the Eternal Dream had and the kind of methods he implemented in his control made Rael’s jaw drop.
He managed to create a world in the Dream Realm and filled it with the souls of the deceased.
A forever increasing civilization.
Rael watched everything eagerly, and eventually, the memories ended.
He learned a lot.
Too much rather.
The Eternal Dream really was eternal.
Making him experience tens of eons… it was definitely overwhelming.
Nonetheless, as the memories ended, Rael opened his eyes and saw Lilith staring at him with a worried look.
“Finally…” she exhaled. “It’s been two hours since you just zoned out. Are you okay?”
“Mhm.” Rael nodded calmly. “I bought a memory, and now I’m back. You don’t have to worry about me being uneducated anymore. A ceremony is coming up in just two days. We can leave now and by the time the ceremony starts, you can introduce yourself with a bang.”
It was a ceremony that celebrated the ancient fighting of demons.
Naturally, there would be fighting involved.
And it was the perfect time for Lilith to display her abilities.
Lilith stared at him for a few seconds longer and then let out a sigh.
“Alright. We can go, and if anything goes wrong, we’re leaving, got it? I don’t want you ending up in a fight against my father,” she said sternly.
Rael nodded.
“Don’t worry, I have no intention of fighting him. Though, if he starts something, I might have to reciprocate, you know?”
“…”
“Sorry… I was just joking.”
She harrumphed and turned her head.
Then, to Rael’s genuine surprise, she simply slashed the air, creating a tiny crack in space.
After flashing him a glance, she walked through that crack.
Although confused, Rael followed after her.
He felt his body twisting and turning, but just as quickly, that feeling faded as he arrived on the other side.
That other side, of course, was a whole different world with a crimson sky and dark soil.
There was some greenery, but if he recalled correctly, this greenery was considered like a landmark.
Mainly because after demons corrupted the land, only a few pieces of greenery were left, and some demons set up cities around them.
After all, in a completely dark land, seeing something so bright was a good way to get people to come to their city.
But Rael was more surprised that Lilith could take them here this easily.
“You’ve been practicing the Law of Space a bit more than you let on, haven’t you?” Rael asked.
Lilith shrugged at him.
“I just knew everything there was to know about the Demonic Realm, so entering it was easier. Don’t look into it too much. Also, why don’t you have the Law of Space? I feel like it would be perfect for you.”
“Ah… I’m trying to do something. I need a little bit more money for that though,” Rael replied with a chuckle.
In truth, he wanted to use the combination feature he had.
What would happen if he combined hundreds of normal laws, hundreds of Supreme Laws, and thousands of Unique Laws?
Would he get some kind of overpowered abomination, or would that not even work?
He might be fucking himself over by doing that, but taking risks always led to something great, and it’s not like he needed that much money.
He only needed to wait for another week, and he’d be ready to try it out.
Anyhow…
“We’re near Velmar. This isn’t the capital… or is it? My knowledge might be a little outdated,” Rael asked.
“Not the capital, but a crucial city,” Lilith replied with a serious look. “One of my siblings rules over this city, so for starters, I was thinking of taking over this city and humiliating her.”
Oh?
“Really?”
“Mhm.”
Didn’t expect her to go the humiliation route right off the bat.
But oh well, how could Rael ever say no to that?
“I’m in.”
