Chapter 804: Chapter 804: The Han Family Gets Outsmarted
When Han Jin reached the surveillance room, he found that a crowd had already gathered there.
“What happened?”
Han Jin asked.
Upon seeing Han Jin arrive, the crowd hurriedly made way for him.
“Second Young Master, when we returned to switch shifts, we discovered that Wang Ning and the others had fainted at the workbench,”
someone explained.
As he looked at the three people sprawled over the workbench and the surveillance equipment with all its wires severed, Han Jin immediately called for a Special Ability User.
“Wake them up with water!”
Han Jin commanded.
“This…”
The Water Element Ability User hesitated, wondering if it would be better to let a healer come to provide treatment first.
“Hurry up, do you want to be responsible if this delays things?”
Han Jin cursed.
The Water Element Ability User, after hearing that, dared not hesitate any longer and had the three people moved outside to an open space where he then struck them with Water Columns simultaneously.
A man woke up first, rubbing the back of his head and looking around in confusion until he saw Han Jin, at which point he fully regained consciousness.
“Who knocked you out? Did you get a clear look at them?”
Han Jin asked.
The man shook his head, then suddenly remembered the surveillance footage they had seen before losing consciousness, and exclaimed, “There were three healers by the treatment room who looked very suspicious. We were about to notify the Security Department when we were knocked out by someone from behind.”
The treatment room?
Thinking of Han Zhimin, Han Jin immediately ran outside.
In the treatment room, awash with a pool of fresh blood, the wound on Han Zhimin’s head had been staunched, but he had yet to regain consciousness.
“Brother! What happened?”
Han Jin burst in from outside, only to find that Han Yue was not there.
“Second Young Master, Young Master Han has gone down to the basement. Maybe you should wait here…”
Wang Liang answered, but Han Jin took off again after hearing this. They all knew what was kept in the basement here.
Now, even Han Jin realized that their Han Family had been clandestinely infiltrated and betrayed that night.
“Damned bastards, where did everyone go? Didn’t anyone notice someone infiltrating?”
The voice of Han Yue came from deep within the staircase, unusually furious.
Sure enough, when Han Jin saw the body on the ground and the empty cell, he also understood what had happened.
Lian Jiyue had been taken away.
“Auntie?”
Han Jin looked at the female corpse not far away, which seemed to be staring back at him with open eyes.
Han Yue couldn’t be bothered to look at Han Wan on the ground again. It’s possible she led them here. Otherwise, why would she commit gun-suicide?
“What’s the situation in the surveillance room?”
Han Yue asked coldly.
Han Jin recounted everything that had happened upstairs and then said, “We’ve just tallied that three healers are missing; they must have knocked out father and escaped with Lian Jiyue.”
“Find them! Dig three feet into the ground if you must, but find those healers within the base tonight!”
Han Yue said angrily. No matter what background those three healers had or whether they had accomplices, the fact that they dared to injure the Head of Han family meant that crime alone could make them deserve to die a million times over!
In the Wei Family’s trade hall, all Trading Cards had already been distributed, and Wei Yinghao had even made his closing remarks. Wave after wave of thunderous applause resounded from the cool hall.
“I hope the outcome tonight will satisfy all participating compatriots. I also hope that all of us, who have boarded Noah’s Ark, will overcome this disaster together!”
After Wei Yinghao had spoken, he bowed deeply to everyone, and the applause continued for a long time, hardly subsiding.
If it wasn’t the closing time of the trading hall, they would have wanted nothing more than to take their newly acquired trading cards and stroll around the hall right away.
However, Wei Yinghao mentioned that from now on, the trading hall would be permanently open. As long as the Wei Family existed, they could guarantee that the doors of the trading hall would never close.
At that moment, Luo Hongyi walked up behind Wei Yinghao and whispered something to him.
“They’ve taken care of it?”
Wei Yinghao asked in surprise. True to their name, the Heart Talk Team. It seemed that Wei Junhao was right; the Heart Talk Team was a team that could not fail.
“Yes, Zheng Shu and the others also brought back this, saying it was given to them by Lu Hao,”
Luo Hongyi handed a cube-shaped object to Wei Yinghao as he spoke.
A mobile phone?
Wei Yinghao was puzzled. Why would Lu Hao give him a mobile phone?
Yet, seeing the enthusiastic crowd below, Wei Yinghao immediately regained his smile, signaling Qi Tianya and others to start organizing the departure.
Since the Heart Talk Team had succeeded, it was time for this “grand banquet” to come to a perfect close.
“What do you think, Uncle? I told you, you were too worried,”
Wei Junhao said with a smile. How could the Heart Talk Team possibly run into trouble?
“Don’t be too smug. Someone just said that the Han Family is currently searching for the murderer base overnight. It seems that the photos of the three healers have been posted. I’ve already sent someone to check out what’s going on,”
Wei Yinghao said, leaning back on the sofa. He thought the Han Family was looking for the Heart Talk Team, but instead, they were looking for three healers? Now that was interesting.
“Three healers? Who cares about them? Anyway, they have nothing to do with us,”
Wei Junhao said while eating the large, plump peanuts provided by the Heart Talk Team. The Heart Talk Team didn’t know any three healers.
“Why has Lu Hao given me a phone? And it’s still turned on,”
Wei Yinghao, puzzled, took an object out of his pocket and opened it to ask.
Wei Junhao stopped “eating” immediately, snatched the phone, and said, “Are you silly, Uncle? Such an important thing, and you only take it out this late? There’s got to be a message or something from Lu Hao in here.”
Passing by, Sheng Lanying scolded without any good mood, “You child, have no respect. How can you talk to your uncle like that?”
“It’s okay, Sister-in-law. We’re all like this, used to it,”
Wei Yinghao said with an unconcerned smile.
“My God, what is this! Lu Hao has captured a huge secret here!”
Wei Junhao’s eyes were completely fixed on the phone. Was this something the Han Family was working on?
“What? What?”
Apart from Wei Yinghao, Sheng Lanying and a muddy Wei Wei also came over to look at the phone’s screen.
They saw rows of humans, stripped of their clothes, preserved like specimens in a series of pools. Both men and women, they were lying there with their eyes closed as if they were asleep.
“Formalin preserved bodies?”
Wei Wei asked.
“This is too frightening,”
Sheng Lanying felt goosebumps all over, but then she heard a deep voice from Lu Hao coming from the video.
Lu Hao said, “These people, they’re not dead.”
“Ah!!”
Sheng Lanying screamed in fear. She somewhat regretted being curious and coming over to see; it was like watching a horror movie.
“Wait, this person?!”
Wei Junhao scrolled the progress bar and went back a few seconds to take a closer look. That man looked very familiar.
“Isn’t this Yu Zun? Uncle, look, does it not look like him?”
Wei Junhao immediately asked. Although the man’s eyes were closed, Yu Zun was a man with particularly handsome features, and he felt that he was not mistaken.
