Reborn as the Genius Son of the Richest Family - Chapter 646: Fossil love

Chapter 646: Fossil love
As it turned out, mermen’s love and adoration for ancient creatures were so strong that it could evoke a tremendous burst of emotion inside them.
This was extremely good news. He finally found a way to stimulate their Dao Heart!
I could make two rollercoasters, he realized. One is a thrilling and typical roller coaster which has life-like animatronic recreations of sea monsters, and the other is a chill and thematic ride containing fossils that stimulates their reverence for ancient creatures!
He didn’t even have to limit himself to two rollercoasters. He could build an entire theme park dedicated to Mermen! He’d be able to attract the attention of Mermen who wanted to strengthen their Dao Heart, and he’d get the attention of humans who wanted to experience the world of mermen!
He’d been wanting to build a theme park for the longest time, and it seemed that he’d finally get the chance to do it!
He immediately excused himself and teleported back to their headquarters in Metropolis.
He searched for Kong, the Chief Engineer in Reborn, who designed the first roller coaster. And the results spoke for themselves. He was sure that with Kong’s help, they’d be able to create a theme park so attractive that the Mermen would have no choice but to spend all of their Sand Dollars towards him.
“Boss! What can I do for you?”
Kong was surrounded by the other Engineers of Reborn, with most of them coming from the HobMankey lineage.
“Hey guys, I have a new idea that I want to build. It’s a roller coaster again, but this time, I want it to be specifically made for mermen.”
The engineers looked at each other awkwardly.
“We can build the structure, boss. But we don’t have any clue about Mermen,” Kong admitted.
He then told them about his findings, with the roller coasters making use of two items to manufacture emotions from the mermen.
The scary ocean monster animatronics for one, and the amazing fossils for the other.
They seemed intrigued about the idea, but there was still a hint of unsurety in their eyes. It was as if they weren’t confident that they could pull off the idea properly.
“Right now, I want to build two roller coasters. But in the future, we can add different attractions to create a theme park! There could be a carousel under water, a rain park, a massive aquarium, and so on and so forth!”
Despite his grand ambitions, he saw his engineers struggle to keep up with his ideas.
This probably stems from the fact that they’d never seen a theme ride before.
[Would you like me to show them an example of theme parks?]
Really? That’d be awesome!
[It is one of the perks of my software upgrade] ChatJK5 said proudly. [However, I would need the help of… him.]
Harbinger appeared in the void of his mind, seemingly with his hands crossed.
[I didn’t hear please.]
[… I do not have that in my vocabulary…]
Michael had to interject their little spat or else they’d go on and on like a pair of bickering siblings.
Harbinger, can you do it please?
[….fine, but only for the fact that this rollercoaster will bring us closer to Soo drops.]
[ :p ]
A few seconds later, ChatJK5 gave him instructions on how to share information from his memories.
All he had to do was look at the Yellow Hobmankey engineers and allow them access to the neural network of ChatJK5.
Suddenly, multiple threads of Aubility Power sprawled out from his heart and reached the engineers, tapping into their minds.
Kong and his team reeled back, as if they were hit directly on the forehead. Their eyes rolled back and showed only its whites as memories began to flash in their brains.
They saw a first-person perspective of him walking through a theme park, seeing the giant, towering structures that echoed screams from the inside. They saw animatronics performing human-like movements, making characters seem like they were alive.
And everywhere they looked, they could see famous characters and their settings decorated throughout every piece of landmark around them. Even the food was in line with the park’s theme.
The whole process took just a few milliseconds, but the engineers felt like they’d seen through a lifetime.
Now, they were filled with the knowledge and know-how to build their own theme park.
The one key takeaway they had from this experience was that theme parks attracted both the young and the old. There was something for everyone, not just the thrill seekers or the adrenaline junkies.
He could see all the engineer’s brains start to rumble with inspiration.
They were now seeing the same vision that Michael had in his mind. It was a place where thousands upon thousands of Mermen walked along their theme park, having fun and experiencing something magical.
And of course, at the end of the day, the total number of Sand Dollars they earned from this would reach in the thousands and possibly more!
“We can definitely do this, boss!” Kong saluted.
“Good! I now hereby call you the Rebornian Imagineers!”
Kong and the engineers smiled proudly at their new title.
It wasn’t long before their little group began brainstorming all of the things that they could build with the two roller coasters.
“For the thrilling roller coaster, I envision the ride going through the mouth of the Kraken!” Kong said.
“That’s good, sir. I think that we should use real parts of sea monsters to build the structures. It’ll make it all the more real!”
“That can be done! There are some rare items sold that contain real, sheddings of these ancient sea monsters. We can definitely use them to build our animatronics!”
They began throwing out ideas after ideas with excitement in their eyes. They were inspired!
Michael already knew it was right to let Kong and the engineers handle this. He could see their ideas evoking great emotion from the mermen. They would definitely fear the rollercoaster if they had to go into the mouth of the Kraken at the very start.
“As for the theme ride, we can build a boat ride that simulates the ancient era!”
“Yes,” Kong agreed. “We’ll have the fossils come alive using magic and animatronic, making the mermen feel like they’re back in time, where the oceans were littered with ancient monsters.”
Michael let them continue to brainstorm. It would probably take a while before they finalized the design of the two themed rides.
However, that didn’t mean that he couldn’t work on it now.
He needed to find two things.
First, he needed the body parts of monsters living in the sea. It would be great if it was preserved in a pristine condition. The effect of the ride would be much greater if the mermen could see, feel, and smell the monster right in front of them.
Second, he needed to find fossils. This one, he wasn’t sure if he’d be able to get a lot of.
After all, he needed fossils that came from the ocean. And those could only be found on landmass that was previously a body of water millions of years before.
