Reborn as the Genius Son of the Richest Family - Chapter 675: Oh great slime

Chapter 675: Oh great slime
In a dark room filled with ambient light of semi-melted candles, there was a group of people gathered kneeling in cold concrete flooring.
There were about thirty people inside the room, with all of them wearing a robe that casted a dark shadow on their faces.
And with the flickering candles, one could see illustrations of metallic robots etched with some blunt object into the very concrete itself. All of these robots were kneeling, just like the people gathered in the room. And if one looked at the furthest part of the room, then they would see that the robots were praising and worshipping a woman-like figure that had metal and robotic features herself.
This was none other than the gathering of the highest ranking clergy of the Iron Maiden.
After the Reborn company freed Batchrock Town from the tyrannical rule of Flarecorp, they began treating the Iron Maiden as their one true savior. Almost all of its citizens were converted into its religious fanatics, doing everything in their power to do the Iron Maiden’s bidding.
Leading the group were two people, Viperion and Hestu, now named as Bishop and Priest respectively.
They all waited patiently, looking up at the empty spot in the pedestal in front of them.
Then finally, they saw a shadow emerge, transforming into an amorphous violet figure.
Fudge appeared before the Iron Maiden devotees.
“We welcome the great slime!”, they all simultaneously greeted.
Hestu immediately stood up. “I hereby report that everything is going well with the spread of the Iron Maiden.”
“With the spread of automobiles in Angora City, there are now more and more people who align themselves with our beliefs. They believe that automobiles are sacred beings of the Iron Maiden!”, added Viperion.
The other devotees began nodding their heads, agreeing with the two.
“We shall continue to establish our religion in Angora City,” said Hestu.
However, Fudge shook his head at their proposal. “There’s been a change of plans, hehe. There is something that we must do. The Iron Maiden wills it!”
Everyone looked up at Fudge, anticipation filling their faces. If the Iron Maiden willed it, then they would be willing to do anything he said.
“We shall start our establishment in Metropolis!”
Gasps of excitement filled the dark room. Everyone had been waiting for this moment. Metropolis was one of the biggest territories in all of the Royal Continent. The amount of worshippers that they could convert to their religion would probably be enough to turn their religion from obscurity into the mainstream!
“Are we really about to embark on this mission, oh great slime?” asked Viperion.
“Yes!” Fudge answered. “Master—oh, um, I mean the Iron Maiden’s Chosen needs our help. He needs us to spread our religion in Metropolis!”
Just as Michael feared, Fudge heard his conversation with Guillermo. And now, Fudge finally had a reason to step into Metropolis. If the Iron Maiden established themselves in Metropolis, then it could attract the attention of the Vampires, thereby directly helping Michael and the Reborn company!
It was a fantastic idea in Fudge’s mind. It would help spread the Iron Maiden, as well as increase Reborn’s connections with the Beastfolk tourists.
“What are our plans, oh great slime?”
Fudge shrugged. “It’s simple. We just spread the good word of the Iron Maiden!”

Back in Metropolis, the first batch of Vampires had finally finished their route in the parade.
And once it had turned into nighttime, they began searching for an appropriate accommodation to sleep in for the remainder of their visit in Metropolis.
Of course, having the honor of housing the Vampires was something that all companies aspired to have.
And as expected, the lucky ones that ended up getting the Vampires’ attention were those that they passed through in the parade route.
As expected, most Vampires chose accommodations from the Major Factions. The Minor Factions, on the other hand, got at least a few visitors for the day.
However, the ultimate winner among them was none other than Alaric.
“Did you hear? Alaric had about twenty Vampires in his hotel accommodation!”
“Wow… with all twenty Vampires paying 1 Sand Dollar each day, then he could earn 600 Sand Dollars in a single month!”
Most, if not all, of the Beastfolks had their own currency in their native homeland. However, the Sand Dollar was something that was universally accepted among them no matter where they were.
So, in their visit to the Royal Continent, all tourists would use Sand Dollars as their main mode of payment.
And for a lot of people, 600 Sand Dollars a month could be considered an amazing feat, at least for the first day of the parade. And as the days passed, that number would increase even more, possibly reaching an income of a hundred Sand Dollars a day!
Of course, most thought that Alaric would only hit that goal during the peak of the parade, when all five species had their turn entering Metropolis.
That was also what the other companies were hoping for. Even if they didn’t have any customers for today, they could definitely have more tomorrow as long as more Beastfolks saw their stores in the parade route.
But for the companies that didn’t have a store directly in line to the parade route, the chances of them getting any business with the tourists were nearly zero.
This left a lot of companies saddened and full of regret that they didn’t get a spot in the parade route sooner.
“The rich get richer, and the poor get poorer,” said one man as he looked at all the happy faces of businessmen celebrating the parade.
He had a point. After all, only those who were rich got the means to get a spot in the parade route.
“Hey, what’s wrong, friend?”
Just then, the man saw a robed figure approach him from a dark alleyway. “You seem sad,” the robed man asked.
“Yeah. There’s just no way for me to compete against them,” the man replied.
“Well, you’re in luck. Because what I’m about to tell you may change your life. Have you ever heard of the Iron Maiden?”
…
…
…
Then the next day, a new batch of Vampires strolled through the Eastern gates of Metropolis and followed the parade route to the Western side. And just like before, companies were fighting against each other trying to attract the Vampires towards their territory.
But while everyone was so busy with the parade, not many people noticed the emerging number of Iron Maiden believers in Metropolis.
It started with a few people, numbering only in a handful. But soon, it had spread to more than double its size and continued to grow exponentially as news spread.
“The Iron Maiden is real, I tell you!”
“What? I’ve never even heard of them at all!”
Another person interrupted their conversation. “That’s because they operate in the shadows.”
“Really?”
“Yeah! I’ve seen it in my own eyes. You won’t believe it, but all members of the Iron Maiden had their own automobiles that they worship. They say it’s a sacred living thing that the Iron Maiden created!”
Eventually, the name ‘Iron Maiden’ began popping up in conversations left and right, which Michael immediately noticed
