Reborn As The Minor Villain In A Romance Fantasy Novel - Chapter 273: Skydiving

Chapter 273: Skydiving
Stella’s face grew bright red as she heard Emilia’s explicit question, and then she quickly averted her gaze toward the mansion, while Luke was practically fuming with barely contained rage beside the limousine.
“We are outside in public.” Luna said with red cheeks, her voice strained with embarrassment. “There’s a kid here… be respectful for once in your life, Emilia.”
Emilia looked around at the surrounding area with exaggerated innocence and harrumphed before skipping across the path and taking hold of Stella’s hands with a friendly smile.
“Good morning, ma’am… Are you Luna’s older sister by any chance?” Emilia asked with apparent sincerity, and Stella reddened even more at the flattering compliment.
“No, I’m her mother actually.”
“Oh, I never would have guessed that at all. You look so young and have a smoking hot body too.” Emilia said while glancing appreciatively at Stella’s breasts like the shameless pervert she was. She had never seen a pair of motherly breasts before, but they were obviously better developed and fuller than the regular ones she was used to seeing.
She looked at Stella directly in the face with a warm expression.
“Please let me guide you inside the mansion.” She said while extending her hand politely, and Stella took it somewhat hesitantly.
She did so mostly because she could see that this Emilia, despite being quite perverted and forward, was clearly a friend of Luna and probably one of the soon-to-be wives of Lucius alongside her daughter.
Emilia led her inside and the rest of the group followed behind them. Celia ran excitedly to Lucius and they walked together toward the entrance, leaving Luna with the rest of the girls who were exchanging knowing looks.
Judea and Rita were giving Luna looks of obvious jealousy, while Vanessa placed a knowing hand on her shoulder.
“Didn’t it feel good even though it was your first time?” Vanessa whispered conspiratorially as they walked.
Luna nodded as they approached the mansion entrance.
“Yes, even though everyone says the first time hurts… I couldn’t think straight at all. He was even pushing into my womb.” Luna admitted quietly, her voice barely audible.
Luna wasn’t even walking properly and it made Vanessa wonder exactly how hard Lucius had gone on Luna during the night. She could see the slight trembling in her friend’s legs.
“That’s his magic touch…” Vanessa said with a knowing smile. “Maybe we can try a threesome sometime if you’re interested.”
She added the suggestion with a lewd smile, and Luna gave her a once-over with raised eyebrows.
“You’ve started talking exactly like Emilia does…” Luna said with a resigned sigh, then she shrugged. “Well, I don’t really mind it.”
Vanessa gave her an enthusiastic thumbs-up and they entered the mansion together. Just then, the moving truck pulled up to the front with a loud engine rumble.
…
“Mother… your food tastes absolutely delicious.” Emilia said from her seat at the dining table, her eyes closed in appreciation.
It had been several hours since their arrival, and all the belongings had been successfully packed into the mansion. Harborview Manor had everything that it needed in place and the family was settled in properly now.
All the girls were seated around the large dining table, which was completely full. Lucius and Celia were sitting on the ground in the adjacent room, eating and talking animatedly about something.
“Thank you for the compliment.” Stella said with an apron still on as she dined as well.
She had decided to make some porridge to celebrate their move into the new house. “Now if I had to ask… what are you girls doing over here today?”
Selene cleared her throat as she was the designated spokesperson who would answer.
“Ah, Mother, we actually came to pick Luna and Lucius up…” Selene explained clearly. “Elara won the right to pick today’s event in our rotation.”
Luna looked up from her bowl with curiosity.
“What event are we doing right now?” She asked, checking the time on her phone. “It’s only 11 AM.”
“Skydiving…” Elara spoke up with an excited smile spreading across her face. “We’ll be skydiving without using any mana or powers.”
“I see…” Luna said thoughtfully. She really hadn’t dove from the sky before, so it was going to be a completely new and fun experience for her.
“Ah, skydiving? I wanna come too!” Celia stood up enthusiastically with her plate and looked at Luna with pleading eyes. “Can I come, big sis? Please?”
“Absolutely no—”
“You can come.” Stella interrupted, making Luna surprised by the permission.
Stella then looked at Elara and Selene. “I hope it won’t be much of a problem if I want to come too. I’ve always wanted to try skydiving.”
“Yes, yes, Mother, you can absolutely come.” Selene clapped delightedly. “I guess we have everyone now, huh? I rented a whole zone and a private plane for this. We’ll have a lot of fun.”
“How much did it cost…?” Stella asked cautiously.
After seeing her daughter spend over a hundred million in a single night and learning that Lucius casually spent a billion on properties, she was suspecting that these people were all filthy rich.
“Oh, the land where we will be landing is actually mine already.” Selene replied casually. “However, if I were to say the combined cost of the plane rental and all these preparations including the land purchase, it’s a few hundreds.”
Stella calmed down noticeably. She just meant hundreds of thousands, which was still expensive but not absurd.
Although she couldn’t quite believe that skydiving was that simple, she was fine as long as she didn’t hear an absurd number.
“Mother…” Emilia said with a sigh. “A few hundreds means hundreds of millions to her.”
Stella paused as her face turned visibly pale.
“Emilia is correct. An estimate of everything should be about 400 million royals…” Selene said as she tapped on her chin thoughtfully. “I don’t really remember the exact amount anymore.”
Stella’s eyes rolled back and she fell backwards from pure shock, and Lucius appeared from the other room and caught her before she hit the ground.
“Mom!” Luna and Celia cried out at the same time in alarm.
…
“I apologize for not being sensible enough to understand your feelings, Mother.” Selene said genuinely. They were currently high above a field of grass near the coastline, the plane having climbed to fifteen thousand feet.
“No… Selene, please don’t beat yourself over it.” Stella said as she noticed the deflated posture of the woman. “I was the one that asked you about the cost.”
Though her voice was drowned out mostly by the loud engine sounds from the private plane, they were standing near the open door entrance and there was even a steel ledge extending outward.
The instructor had spent the last thirty minutes going over everything in detail. She had shown them the proper arch position, how to pull the ripcord, how to steer the parachute, and most importantly, how to land without breaking their legs.
Luna had paid attention to every word, mentally cataloging the information.
“We’ll be going three at a time.” The instructor said professionally, checking everyone’s harnesses one final time. “You all remember what I taught you when we were on the ground, right?”
All the girls nodded in confirmation. She had spent thirty minutes teaching them how to use the equipment properly, and now it was time to put theory into practice.
“Have you girls decided who will be the first group?” The instructor asked while placing a hand on her waist.
Celia, Stella, and Luna stepped forward.
They stood straight and then the instructor nodded before sliding the door fully open. Immediately the wind began blowing violently and combined with the sounds from the engine, it was practically deafening. The noise hit them like a wall.
They stepped carefully onto the steel ledge and looked down. They were far above the ground now, and if the parachutes strapped to their backs didn’t work properly, they would free-fall and die against the ground.
Luna’s brain immediately started calculating terminal velocity and survival odds. She forced herself to stop.
The intrusive thoughts died down shortly after.
“Don’t worry! If you fall, I’ll catch you.” Lucius called out, and they looked up.
He was sitting casually on the top of the plane in the open air, and screaming desperately for his life next to Lucius was Luke, who had been forced onto the plane.
He couldn’t remain nonchalant while sitting in the open air without a parachute, so he held onto the plane’s exterior for dear life.
Celia gave him an encouraging thumbs-up and then the three of them jumped simultaneously.
Luna blinked repeatedly as they fell from the sky at a rapid speed and they arched their bodies exactly like the instructor had demonstrated. She felt a stomach drop, though it only lasted a few seconds.
The sensation was overwhelming. The wind hit her face with incredible force, making it difficult to breathe. She remembered to breathe through her nose like she’d been taught.
As much as Celia wanted to scream, the wind was moving so fast that her mouth couldn’t properly form sounds. She tried anyway, her voice lost in the roar of wind.
Stella was surprisingly squealing more than her two daughters despite the fact that she was supposed to be the most mature one. Her hair whipped wildly around her face.
They were falling at terminal velocity now, approximately 120 miles per hour. Luna couldn’t help but calculate it even as her heart pounded.
The ground was rushing up, but it didn’t feel like falling. It felt like floating on a column of air.
Just then, Judea shot down beside them with her wings tucked against her body, and so did Elara who was grinning widely.
“It’s time.” Judea said despite the force of wind pressing against her face, and they pushed away from each other and pulled the ripcords of their parachutes.
Luna felt the cord pull and heard a whoosh as her parachute deployed. Suddenly she jerked upward as the chute caught air, going from 120 miles per hour to about 15 in an instant. The harness pulled tight against her body.
The parachutes deployed successfully and the speed at which they were dropping reduced greatly as they were now slow enough to look around comfortably and actually take in their surroundings.
It was beautiful. The sky, the view, everything about it was just so damn beautiful. Luna could see for miles.
The ocean sparkled in the distance, the field below looked like a patchwork quilt, and the other girls were floating nearby like colorful flowers.
The rest of the girls jumped down as well from the plane above. Amber went without hesitation, Rita crossed herself before jumping, and Emilia did a flip on her way out.
Selene popped up beside Stella, steering her parachute expertly.
“How are you enjoying it, Mother?” She smiled, and Stella smiled back at her warmly.
“I think this is ooh~” A strong wind was picking up and it blew the skirt she was wearing upward, showing her panties clearly.
She didn’t want to wear one of the jumpsuits that was advisable after hearing how expensive they were.
“I don’t think you should be worried. No one is below—” Selene started to say, then decided to look down just to be sure.
Emilia was silently positioned directly below them, looking up in a way that she could see the panties clearly.
However, Emilia’s goal was actually much different from what they assumed.
’I’m trying to see how big Luna’s and Judea’s breasts look from down here…’ She thought analytically, studying the angles. ’For science, obviously.’
Then she finally looked up only to catch a glimpse of Stella’s panties as well, which earned Selene’s sharp glare from above.
’What kind of horrendous pervert is this?’ Selene thought with exasperation, then waved her hand.
A concentrated gust of wind sent Emilia spiraling off toward the water in the distance.
“Seleneeeeeeee!!!!! Wait…” Emilia stopped shouting and looked around, realizing this was actually a perfect position to check out all of them from below. “Thanksss!!”
Luna was too focused on the view to notice any of this. She steered her parachute gently, testing the toggles. Pull left to go left, pull right to go right. It was intuitive.
“This is incredible!” Celia shouted from nearby, her face flushed with excitement.
“I know!” Luna shouted back, and she meant it. All the calculations in the world couldn’t prepare you for how it actually felt.
Stella was laughing, genuinely laughing in a way Luna hadn’t heard in years… not since before their father died.
They glided down slowly, the ground approaching at a manageable pace now. Luna could see the landing zone clearly marked below.
Back at the top of the plane, Lucius sighed and looked at Luke with a mischievous expression.
“Don’t you want to join them?” Lucius asked with a grin on his face that was innocent yet somehow looked guilty as well.
Luke remembered clearly that Lucius had warned him not to follow them yesterday night.
“No… I want to stay here.” Luke said as he held on for dear life. He still had his mechanical suit bracelet, however who was to say this demon wouldn’t snag his suit bracelet from him?
“Jump.” Lucius said simply, and immediately used space manipulation to release Luke’s grip.
Luke went flying off the plane and down toward the land below, screaming at the top of his lungs while Lucius still sat on top with a satisfied smile.
“Skydiving is fun.” He muttered to himself, then casually jumped off the plane as well.
