Capítulo 1365: Chapter 1358: Hongjun Takes Action, Four Saints Slay the Demon
The confusion in Qin Feng’s heart was cleared, and there was no longer any doubt about the direction of his cultivation.
The only thing remaining was the opportunity to prove the Dao and achieve Primordial Chaos!
As long as the opportunity arises, he can directly become a Saint just like the All Saints when they proved their Dao.
But this opportunity is a heavenly chasm that blocks all great powers, and who can say when it will come?
Perhaps he will find a chance at the next moment, or perhaps he will never wait for that day.
Just like some of the old great powers in the Primordial Ancestor Realm, many of them have been cultivating since the Ancient Primordial times, clear about their path, yet they lack just a thin thread of opportunity, a missing chance to prove Dao, so they remain in the Creation Realm, wasting years, cultivating painstakingly with the hope of one day breaking through that bottleneck.
If nothing else works, then continuously accumulate mana, deepen insights, and proceed with the technique of proving Dao by Power!
This is the stupidest method, and also the hardest path to follow. To this day, no one has managed to break through the limits and achieve Primordial Chaos solely through their power.
So the best way is still to find the opportunity to become a Saint, just as Lady Nvwa realized the Heavenly Heart and, feeling inspired, created the Human Clan in the image of Pangu God and received infinite merit from the Heavenly Dao to become a Saint.
So the Creation of the Human Clan was Lady Nvwa’s chance to prove Dao.
As the Three Pure Ones established sects to become Saints, passing down the Dao tradition, establishing a sect was their chance to achieve Primordial Chaos.
Then as Lady Houtu transformed into reincarnation to complete the Heavenly Dao, the Six Paths of Reincarnation was her opportunity.
Other ancient great powers were not without the capability of creation like Lady Nvwa, nor unwilling to learn from the Three Pure Ones to pass down the Dao tradition, and if they realized the lack in the Heavenly Dao, discovering the incomplete reincarnation system, they’d be willing to understand the Reincarnation Law and integrate their body to attempt to complete the Heavenly Dao before Lady Houtu.
Unfortunately, they learned all this after others had done it. Lady Nvwa, the Three Pure Ones, and Houtu were the pioneers, so they seized the initiative, and the Dao was taken by All Saints. Naturally, other great powers couldn’t follow their paths to prove Dao.
Even the Western Two Saints, witnessing the Three Pure Ones establishing sects to become Saints, created the Western Sect fueled by this idea, resulting in great merit but not enough to become Saints.
Fortunately, these two were ruthless and made grand aspirations, incurring a significant karma debt with the Heavenly Dao, and forcefully broke through that opportunity to achieve the Primordial Chaos Saint.
But with the Western Two Saints already seizing the path of incurring karma debt with the Heavenly Dao, other great powers had no way to share the bounty, only to realize afterward that proving the Primordial Chaos Dao this way was also an option!
There are those who attempted to follow suit, but the final result might be failing and delaying their own progress instead.
Look at the Nether River Ancestor; this guy first learned from Lady Nvwa to create life, then learned from the Three Pure Ones to establish sects, and later wanted to emulate the karma debt of the Western Two Saints, ending up incurring much karma debt, but Dao proving remained elusive instead, causing this once most renowned slaughterer among ancient great powers to waste countless years in vain, until he finally regained clarity, and resumed his initial cultivation in the Killing Dao.
Yet there are those who get deeply entangled and unable to extricate themselves, sinking deeper until they can only become subordinates under others.
Like the Ancient Buddha Ran Deng, who sought guidance under various Saints multiple times, repeatedly switching fundamental cultivation techniques, turning to different paths, ending up with a tainted reputation though once a formidable ancient figure, ultimately having his achievements halted here and now, despite being called Past Buddha in Buddhism.
With many precedents, after Lady Houtu proved Dao, no other great power attempted to walk the same path as hers.
Mostly because the final missing link in the Primordial Heavenly Dao was already completed by Lady Houtu, so others couldn’t replicate it even if they wanted to.
However, some cultivator great powers saw benefits in this and chose the second-best option, rather than attempting to prove the Dao of Primordial Chaos by following Lady Houtu’s path of transforming into reincarnation, they leveraged her Six Paths of Reincarnation for their own gain.
Like the Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva of Buddhism.
He was just one among many Bodhisattvas of Western Buddhism, not particularly outstanding, yet because he saw benefits in the Six Paths of Reincarnation, he made a grand vow of not becoming Buddha until Hell is empty, entered Hell to enlighten billions of ghosts, acquiring immense benefits not just for himself but also for Buddhism, making him a prominent power within Buddhism.
Moreover, if after infinite kalpas, the Primordial faces changes, and the evil ghosts of Hell are truly enlightened by him, he might indeed have a slim chance to achieve the Primordial Chaos Dao Fruit.
However, the price is henceforth he can only stay in Hell and cannot leave, spending countless years in the company of evil ghosts, and if his spirit falters after witnessing too many evil sides of ghosts, he might become the most malevolent Demon Buddha!
Then there’s Mengpo, who brews soup with Forget Love Water at the Naihe Bridge, originally an unnamed Immortal in Ancient Primordial, yet leveraging the benefits of the Six Paths of Reincarnation, she garnered infinite merit through Mengpo Soup, becoming a supreme powerhouse that no one in the Underground Palace dared provoke!
However, like Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, Mengpo also faced bindings, unable to leave the Underground Palace after obtaining benefits.
Also there are the ten Yama Kings and several Ghost Emperors, all entered the Heavenly Court’s arrangement due to the existence of the Six Paths of Reincarnation, receiving endowed positions and vast merits recognized by the Heavenly Dao.
But beings like Ksitigarbha and Mengpo, not seeking to prove Dao through Houtu’s transformation into reincarnation, they leveraged the Six Paths of Reincarnation for merit, their rapid power growth had limits.
Unless Lady Houtu advances beyond the Primordial Chaos Realm, they will always live under her achievements, unable to prove Dao and achieve Primordial Chaos.
Thus, the majority of great power cultivators persist in their own paths.
But persistence and attempts have also led many great powers to suffer setbacks on the path of seeking Dao.
After all, most paths may not be viable, or in other words, they started their attempts without thorough preparation, only leading themselves to ruin, let alone those who joblessly sought out other great powers to fight and validate their learnings, which led to the decline in the number of formidable ancient beings.
Of course, Qin Feng never thought of relying on others’ Primordial Chaos Dao like the Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva.
Because he not only understood his path, but even already had vague ideas about the opportunity to prove Dao, it just depends on whether he can succeed when the time comes.
And he also understood one point, the Primordial Chaos Dao has its destiny, historically, Grandmaster Ancestor Taixuan and other masters migrated from Primordial to Biluo, indeed seeking the Great Dao, yet they still couldn’t tread the same path as the few Ancestors of Primordial.
The ones truly capable of cultivating the same Dao Principle are the Immortal, the Eternal, and the Creation. These powerful beings can cultivate the same Dao in different worlds because each world is independent, possessing its own Heavenly Dao that doesn’t interfere with or affect others.
Thus, many Immortals who could not achieve significant accomplishments in the Primordial realm found it relatively easy to become Golden Immortal, achieving immortality or even obtaining Creation when they went to other worlds, as they could follow the paths paved by the Primordial Great Powers. This is why the batch of Human Clan led by Grandmaster Ancestor Taixuan, upon migrating to Biluo, could produce so many Great Powers in such a short time.
However, the Primordial Chaos Dao is different; it’s a realm that transcends the Heavenly Dao, thus subject to Cosmic Principle binding in the void. Whenever a Primordial Chaos being is achieved, this path of Proving Dao is sealed by the Cosmic Principle to prevent more powerful beings from disrupting universal balance.
Therefore, even though there are myriad paths of Proving Dao from the Primordial Great Powers to learn from, the strong who migrated out of Primordial remain required to explore their own roads to achieve Primordial Chaos.
This is why Grandmaster Ancestor Taixuan has not managed to achieve Dao despite years of arduous cultivation.
Qin Feng continuously refines the Demon Ancestor Luo Hou’s Essence Blood, absorbing and refining it to gain comprehension, enhancing his own Dao Cultivation. This, in turn, accelerates the spinning speed of the Yin Yang Grinding Plate, refining more of Luo Hou’s Essence Blood so that even if more of Luo Hou’s Essence Blood permeated out, it couldn’t gather enough strength to break the Yin Yang Grinding Plate!
This enraged Luo Hou, and violent energy emanated from the Essence Blood. Strange forces attempted to penetrate the Yin Yang Grinding Plate to enter Qin Feng’s spirit, seeking to lure Qin Feng’s Heart Demon!
Yet Qin Feng invoked the Heart Clarity Spell, his mind suddenly calm as water, no thoughts arising. No matter how the Demon Ancestor tried to allure, within a prepared Great Power’s heart, a Heart Demon couldn’t form.
With the absorption and refinement of more Primordial Chaos Power Principle Fragments, Qin Feng’s comprehension of the Dao became increasingly clear.
In the distance, the Nightmare Ancestor was being forced back repeatedly by three Primordial Chaos Saints. Though he struggled to resist, he could hardly withstand the oppression of three same-level powerhouses.
The Guiding Buddha’s Golden Body was enormous, and Buddha Light illuminated all directions, constantly dispelling any Nightmare Power overflow.
Lady Nvwa raised the Qiankun Tripod, transforming into a thousand-foot height, capturing all Nightmare Power while manipulating the Creation Law to evolve infinite life force, sealing the Nightmare Ancestor’s escape route. Otherwise, with the Nightmare Ancestor’s strangeness, any leaking Nightmare Power could serve as a lead for him to shift himself away.
Lady Houtu overturned her hand, unleashing endless power that bombarded the area. In her power’s aura, the void became as solid as iron, as heavy as invisible mountains, crazily squeezing the Nightmare Ancestor’s activity space.
Gradually, the Nightmare Ancestor was driven closer to the Primordial Ancestor Realm, almost touching the thick boundary barrier surrounding it!
Swish!
Suddenly, a hand reached out from the Primordial Realm.
The hand seemed not large, yet it wielded Qiankun, suppressing all directions. In its appearance, it shot towards the Nightmare Ancestor.
“Hongjun…”
The Nightmare Ancestor exclaimed, his figure suddenly undergoing infinite changes, manifesting countless Clone Illusions fleeing in various directions.
However, with three Primordial Chaos Saints intercepting him, he had no escape, quickly overtaken by the hand which encompassed all his Nightmare Clones within, then seized the shifting Nightmare back into the Primordial Realm!
The whole void fell abruptly into silence.
Whether it was the Chaos Gods and Demons or their many Great Power subordinates, all were stunned by the scene!
The Nightmare Ancestor, considered the most challenging adversary, was unexpectedly thus captured with a single grasp; who could believe it if told?
Yet the scene unfolded right before their eyes, with no room for refutation.
No one anticipated that Hongjun Ancestor, already achieving Heavenly Union, could be this overwhelming. Despite the assistance of three Primordial Chaos Saints’ suppression, Hongjun Ancestor’s ease in capturing the Nightmare Ancestor, a Primordial Chaos Great Power, left all powerhouses stunned.
Though they understood Hongjun Ancestor seized the opportunity to strike unexpectedly, capturing the Nightmare Ancestor only because the Primordial Chaos Great Power had yet to struggle free.
But Hongjun Ancestor provided no time, holding him into the Primordial Realm.
With the vast Heavenly Dao Laws assisting in the Primordial Realm, just how overpowering must Hongjun Ancestor become?
Any Chaos God Demon entering the Primordial would not prevail against Hongjun Ancestor.
This is not only due to Hongjun Ancestor’s overwhelming power post-Heavenly Union, but also because the Primordial Ancestor Realm, upon its creation, integrated each Chaos God Demon’s body, even as these chaos demon gods narrowly escaped the Pangu Axe initially, leaving most of their bodies behind, transforming into nourishment for the Primordial’s growth.
Thus, with the Primordial Ancestor Realm’s formation under Pangu God’s will, suppression laws naturally emerged!
Suddenly, faces of all invading the Original Star Domain changed dramatically; many showed retreating intentions.
“Let’s go!”
Several Chaos Demon Gods exchanged glances, surveyed their subordinates bereft of fighting spirit, along with Lady Nvwa and several Primordial Chaos Saints gathering in, despite abundant unwillingness, yet they could only choose to retreat.
At this point, rescuing the Yin Yang Ancestor and Nightmare Ancestor was out of question, even overlooking Demon Ancestor Luo Hou.
At most, they fired several attacks far towards the Slaying Immortal Sword Formation, trying to shake the sword formation from outside, offering Luo Hou a chance to escape.
Unfortunately, before Luo Hou emerged, he was knocked back by a strike from Supreme Daoist Ancestor’s rod.
Then Supreme Sect Master and Yuanshi Tianzun, together with Lady Nvwa, all flew into the Slaying Immortal Sword Formation. The four Primordial Chaos Saints joined forces to manipulate the Slaying Immortal Sword Formation, intending to slay Demon Ancestor Luo Hou!
