Reincarnated Hero System - Chapter 1183 - 1183: Ruin Mode

The moment Kriemler was stripped of the Authority, the planet immediately began resisting his entry, pushing back and squeezing the rift shut.
With the modified World Magic spell beneath it destroyed by Kolvar’s initial attack, the channel through which the rift had been draining the planet’s energy from the hotspot below to stay open was severed.
Now, Ginaroad’s Authority, acting on the rift through Kriemler as a proxy, had also been purged, the effect of Decimation of Blessings preventing the Demon King from reapplying it immediately.
This removed the bulk of the forces that had been keeping ‘Aidos’ from forcing the rift shut before it could stabilise, and now the planet was actively trying to do just that, or at least shrink the rift as much as possible.
‘Aidos’ compressed the rift to a size that a Transcendent normally couldn’t pass through, but since there was already a Transcendent halfway through, the result was extremely awkward for Kriemler; after all, half his body was still stuck on the other side.
He was now essentially a sitting duck for Kolvar to attack, and even though he could still fight and use Transcendent power, it was simply impossible to operate at full strength since half his body wasn’t even on the planet!
After creating this situation that eliminated Kriemler’s level advantage against Kolvar, Evan teleported away with Blink, heading over to the BMA that Dandeyr was facing, accompanied by a helping hand in the form of Felyela al’Rear, one of Aidos’ Sovereigns, whom Eliza knew and had requested to be here.
The BMA’s Ruin Mode caused its half-organic body to begin rotting, its metallic parts rusting and crumbling, but the power boost it gained in return allowed it to hold its own against the two Sovereigns.
It generated a high-frequency electromagnetic barrier around its body that blocked roughly half of their attacks while unleashing lightning-fast strikes of its own, forcing them to dodge.
Lunging forward, it slammed its massive clamp-arm down with a thunderous crack that split the dunes apart, sand erupting in violent streams as its rusting tentacles whipped out in all directions.
Felyela responded with a spiralling mix of fire, water, and lightning law energy that collided with the clamp, the blast vaporising sand and carving a molten trench beneath them, while Dandeyr amplified gravity, slamming the BMA’s head halfway into the collapsing dune.
The abomination wrenched itself free, plates of white and gold armour flaking off as its cannon-arm rotated and fired a barrage of condensed plasma shots.
Felyela countered with a wall of compressed water instantly turned to steam, the shockwave throwing her into the air, while Dandeyr bent gravity sideways, dragging the plasma blasts off their intended paths and slamming them into the earth, where they detonated in towering pillars of sand and glass that rained shards and debris across the battlefield.
Its tentacles lashed out again, moving faster than its decaying frame should allow, several cracking apart mid-swing while others wrapped around Dandeyr, tightening and crackling with jagged lightning that struck his skin-tight gravity barrier, the electric arcs tearing and sizzling across its layers as it tried to break through, leaving smoke and sparks curling into the air.
Felyela launched attacks to try to help Dandeyr, but they splintered harmlessly across the BMA’s electromagnetic field in bursts of scattered light.
Its clamp arm spun and shot towards her, forcing her to evade, and just as she did, its cannon arm fired a compressed plasma burst, making her dash into the air to avoid it, the sand below exploding in blinding fountains as the bursts struck.
At the same time, Dandeyr amplified his weight with gravity, dragging the BMA’s upper body down and slamming its head into the ground with enough force to dent the desert into a crater, but its barrier absorbed the impact, sparks rippling across its surface.
Felyela seized the opening, unleashing a cyclone of earth, wind, and fire law energy that shredded through the EM barrier still unstable from the impact, tearing wires along the BMA’s torso apart and igniting its rotting flesh in explosive bursts.
Sparks burst from the BMA’s joints as it rose, its electromagnetic barrier flashing while it infused more demonic energy into both its barrier and its hand cannon, firing a beam at Dandeyr, which the man distorted gravity to deflect upwards, the beam blasting a hole through the clouds and leaving the sky split in a glowing line.
Felyela followed up by dropping a pillar of earth law energy onto its skull, but the BMA’s electromagnetic field detonated the spell on contact, sending a shockwave that blasted molten sand across the battlefield while the BMA staggered forward, armour shedding in steaming plates.
The BMA’s joints creaked as its red eye glowed brighter, generating more law energy from its core as it hurled its body at Dandeyr at a speed faster than its decaying frame should have allowed.
However, its lunge never reached its target, nor did Dandeyr get the chance to counter, as Evan shot down from above, his fist glowing with prismatic flames as it collided with the BMA’s barrier.
‘Electroflame + Fracture + Adamantine Might + Pierce Guard + Permeating Wave + Time Bomb.’
“Six Skill Strike!”
Evan’s fist shattered the barrier with a bright flash, continuing forward and crashing straight into its glowing red eye, punching a hole through its skull and sending the BMA’s hundred-metre frame lurching backwards.
Seeing the giant crack in its barrier that Evan had created, Felyela rapidly gathered law energy, darkening the skies as a host of magma spears filled the air, descending on the BMA’s body at hypersonic speed and puncturing its frame with holes.
Dandeyr dashed in and punched its cannon arm, using gravity to quintuple the force of his strike and crush the entire structure, which Felyela then severed from its body with a blade of wind.
Evan took a deep breath and retracted the flames coating his arm as he watched Felyela conjure a giant tornado of flaming wind that lifted the giant entity into the air, the wind blades shredding its biomechanical body to pieces.
Dandeyr roused his magic power, clamping his palms together and slamming them to generate an immense gravitational force acting on the BMA from both sides, crumbling the remaining EM barrier and crushing several parts of its body, including its head.
With death imminent, its chest began to glow, energy condensing as it tried to self-destruct, but the moment the energy gathered, Evan activated Burst Cannon and fired fist-sized shells of destruction law energy that shattered its chest compartment and the core within, forcing the gathered energy to disperse.
By the time Felyela turned toward him, Evan had already used Blink and teleported sky-high, overlooking the battlefield and the ongoing fights.
Because of his intervention, Felyela and Dandeyr were now free to aid others faster than they would have been, as was Ciarrucrorth, who had immediately gone to assist Rizass against Dergren, both of them forcing the giant lion onto the defensive.
The ground shook with every clash of Kolvar and Kriemler’s fists, the Peak Rank demon proving a formidable opponent even while immobilised and unable to use half his body.
Evan’s gaze shifted to the hastily retreating soldiers, moving toward the Medic Area where Eliza was tending to one wounded soldier after another.
With everyone running from the battlefield in such a chaotic manner, it was possible that Demonic Hand members could slip into Coalition Army ranks and cause problems later.
But Evan had already put a measure in place to prevent this—the World Isolation Barrier he had deployed earlier.
In return for ‘preventing the re-entry of Tarse Defence Coalition Army combatants and collaborators, prevent the exit of any existence who did not have that label, especially ‘World Enemies’ and those with a Demonic Factor.’
This naturally meant the Deadly Sins Siblings couldn’t leave the barrier’s range, though they’d been informed beforehand and could manage themselves.
In fact, they were actively running around, obstructing anyone trying to attack the World Isolation Barrier to break it.
Dandeyr and Felyela handled any Sovereign-Level Demonic Hand affiliates attempting to breach the barrier, foreign High-Rank demons, as well as some of the recently unsealed demons from 1000 years ago.
More than half of Tarse’s Sovereigns, acting under Lloris’ and Rizass’ orders, held the retreat lines for the weaker soldiers, shielding those still within the barrier’s radius from the shockwaves generated by Kolvar’s and Kriemler’s punches.
With thousands fleeing in all directions, there were naturally clashes erupting, battles breaking out between enemies who collided with each other, and, of course, stampedes occurred.
‘This is annoying to see. I would’ve liked to use Spell Number 14’s BFR, but we have no choice but to let the battle happen here.
Kriemler can’t be allowed to fully enter Aidos, or the damage from trying to take him down would be even worse.’
In that scenario, Evan would have to team up with Kolvar, and maybe Rathal too, to bring down the Greater Demon, and the collateral damage from a battle like that would be immense, especially since it can’t be taken airborne due to Kolvar’s inability to fly.
Evan took a deep breath, pushing these thoughts aside as he checked the amount of magic power he had left.
He then looked around at the locations of the Heroes still within the World Isolation Barrier, holding the positions Evan had instructed them to.
A small chuckle escaped his lips as he recognised the GWE Sovereign hidden among the ‘Mages’ Laurene was with, then he turned to see one of Dragondune’s Sovereigns also shadowing Bianca’s every move.
Then he glanced at Rizass’ and Dergren’s battle, before finally focusing on Kolvar and Kriemler, muttering,
“So far so good. Now then, Kolvar, I’ve prepared the stage for you. Don’t disappoint me.”
