After Aquarina finished looking at her growth through her status, she quickly went to cook breakfast for her mom. She ended preparing quite the feast with the help of her friends and Aguarapida.

Freshly baked bread, eggs, roasted meat, grilled, salted fish, some rice and other boiled seeds, lots of the tropical, sweet fruits that grew around the jungle, and also herbal tea to calm pain and soothe the mind, so Nepheline could rest and sleep well.

“Heeey! We brought breakfast for the whole family!”

Aquarina walked inside, bringing forth a table full of food with her friends, which was placed on top of the bed where her mother was resting with Esmeralda, who had finally fallen asleep.

“D-Don’t be so loud!” Nepheline sighed, as she noticed Esmeralda slowly waking up. “Ah, she woke up again…”

“Buuhh… Muuh…” Esmeralda looked around, noticing the many new faces. Her little green eyes widened a bit, noticing all the new faces made her surprised.

“Oh my gosh she’s so cuteeeee!” Silvia cried. “Hello Esmeralda! Nice to meet you! How are you baby girl?”

“She does look a lot like Aquarina…” Justicio said. “Though she’s a bit different as well.”

“So adorable!” Agua said happily. “Hi!”

“So this is Aquarina’s little sister…” Pyuku glanced at the baby with a gentle smile. “Hello, I’m Pyuku, a slime.”

“Babaaah? Buuuhh…” Esmeralda looked at them and looked confused, but she wasn’t afraid, she smiled and waved her tiny hands at them. “Aaaheeh!”

And even giggled for some reason…

“So cute!” Silvia cried. “Ah, she’s grabbing my finger!”

“Mine too, oof, she’s quite strong already, eh?” Justicio laughed.

“She seems to have a strong grip,” Agua giggled.

“I wonder what you can do, Esmeralda. Do you have any special magic?” Wondered Pyuku.

“At this moment she cannot use any, Pyuku. She was just born!” Aquarina said. “But I am sure she could develop something eventually, she was born with a special tattoo in her body, dad said it’s the manifestation of one of his family’s abilities.”

“Yeah, we don’t know which one yet, but it doesn’t seem dangerous, it lacks any magic power on its own, so it shouldn’t be hurtful to her or anybody,” Shade explained. “However, it could hold great and unseen powers. So I am looking forward to what she could eventually manifest from them.”

“Gaaheeeh! Gehehe!” Little Esmeralda giggled as she saw everyone talking, she was a very bright girl, always laughing just after birth.

“You sure love laughing, huh?” Nepheline giggled, kissing her little face. “Did you bring some fruit pure, Aquarina?”

“Yeah, but is it oaky for her to eat right away?” Aquarina wondered.

“Of course, our kids can eat like this right after birth!” Nepheline said. “I’m sure the other children here agree.”

“Oh yeah, I was eating stuff since I was born, mom always complains about that,” Justicio said.

“I used to bite fruit!” Giggled Silvia.

“I see, I guess it’s alright then…” Aquarina nodded. “Sorry if I didn’t know enough, I guess I’m still learning even about our own kind.”

“It’s fine dear, don’t sweat the details, bring me the food now,” Nepheline said.

Aquarina walked there and offered the fruits to her mother, who gently fed the sweet puree made of many delicious fruits together.

“Naam maam aam!” Esmeralda ate happily, getting all her face nasty, she was quite the messy eater already.

As she ate, the rest started eating their breakfast as well, but everyone could hardly care what they were putting inside of their mouths, the little baby was the center of attention for everyone.

After she ate, Esmeralda quickly burped cutely, and then fell asleep right away…

“She’s fast asleep out of nowhere! This girl is really quite something,” Nepheline laughed. “Alright, I suppose everyone already ate breakfast, it should be nice if I could be alone with my daughter for the moment.”

“A-Ah, right! Sure mom, sorry,” Aquarina nodded, as she and her friends quickly brought everything back to the first floor of the house.

Once they were done having breakfast, Aquarina decided to quickly continue her daily routine. Although Esmeralda’s birth was very important and all, she couldn’t quite waste away a day just thinking about her little sister, right?

“Alright, let’s first go take a shower though, I completely forgot to do that… Once we’re done with that, should we go hunt again?” Aquarina asked.

“Yeah, I was thinking of doing that,” Agua nodded. “There’s still two more nests’ left, so it should be for the better if we clear them as quickly as possible.”

“How many ants will those nests have though?” Justicio wondered. “Honestly I am growing a bit bored and tired of these damn ants.”

“Depending how far away they are, we might have to only take down one today,” Aquarina said. “But let’s try our best and see if we can destroy two in the same day.”

“Yeah, worth a try!” Silvia nodded immediately. “Anyway, let’s go take a bath together, Aquarina! Agua!”

The three quickly walked downstairs to the small underground hot spring, taking a bath together and relaxing to prepare for the battles to come.

The water was warm and nice, and Aquarina could feel it nicely touching her skin and even her muscles and bones felt the warmth it provided.

“Is this water magical in some way? It feels like it not only heals exhaustion, but it heals muscle and bone aching.” Aquarina wondered.

“Yeah, it does! A bath in here should always get you ready for battle. The hot spring over here all have healing properties due to the spiritual energy and mana in the air.” Agua said rather happily.

“Oh, that’s really nice! I guess I like it even more then.” Silvia said with a smile. “Let’s play!”

SPLASH!

Out of nowhere, Silvia splashed water over Aquarina’s face, making her friend slightly annoyed.

“Hey, you damn brat!”

SPLASH!

Aquarina quickly splashed water back at her, and then as Agua glanced, the two started fighting and splashing at each other.

“Don’t forget about me!”

Agua stepped into the game, using her Aqua Arms to splash a lot of warm water back at them.

SPLAAASH!

“Hey!”

“Not fair!”

And the two smiled after that, using magic to splash her back even more.

At the end, Justicio and Pyuku didn’t really know what the hell was going on down there with all the commotion.
