Chapter 1791: Taste My Fists
—–
“KRIEEEEEHHH!”
With an enraged scream, the ant queen unleashed her aura and magic, trying to cook Aquarina alive inside the eggshell-shaped aura she was using.
“BURN! I’LL BOIL YOU UP AND EAT WHAT’S INSIDE!!!”
However, the flames were barely doing any damage, and what’s worse…
“Huh?!”
She was unable to drain Aquarina’s Mana or Lifeforce at all!
“I-Impossible! I can’t…! I cannot drain her Mana and Lifeforce?! That eggshell is protecting her?! But it’s part of her! Even her Aura I could…! No…!”
She glanced back at her sister with desperate eyes, trying to ask for more help.
“I have to find a way or…! Sister! Help me! Cast a barrier on me!”
“You’re hopeless…”
FLAAASH!
“Ugh?!”
Suddenly, Aquarina felt a powerful force hit her, sending her flying away and shattering her egg aura into pieces.
“Damn it! What was that?!”
She looked back at the ant queen, as a golden barrier of yellow flames had protected her from being crushed to death again.
“Hahaha…! You cannot beat me! My sister has our backs! With her Saintly powers, we’ll never lose! KRIEEEEEHHH!”
The Ant Queen rushed toward Aquarina once more, her body engulfed in flames. Her Aura grew smaller but tightly wrapped around her body. She was evolving. Although her energy reserves were depleted, she was learning new ways to use the little power she had efficiently.
The result?!
FLASH! FLASH! FLASH!
“Shit!”
Aquarina saw three mirages made of flames appear behind her. One of them was the ant queen, but all three had the same energy signatures and Mana inside.
“She split her Mana into three clones of herself?!”
As Aquarina gritted her teeth, she transformed into darkness and lightning, disappearing from the scene. She felt angry that she had to escape so much. As someone who preferred fighting head-on, this was disgraceful.
However, in a battle of life and death, there was no room for being graceful, prideful, or anything else… All that mattered was surviving.
“You cannot escape for much longer!”
“What?!”
Aquarina’s eyes widened, realizing she was suddenly surrounded by six clones of the same ant queen. One of them was her! They rushed at her from every angle. Aquarina readied for a counterattack, imbuing her abyssal power into her daggers and forming a giant draconic sword embedded with eggshell armor and thunder.
“{Dragon Blade Arts} + {Execution} + {Sea Princess’ Wrath}!”
Combining the effects of three skills at once, her aura transformed into a black snake wrapped around her sword. As she spun around, she cut through all the clones at once.
“{Abyssal Dragon Guillotine Fang}!”
SLAAAAASH!
The clones died one after another as explosions of flames attempted to blow her up, but Aquarina was protected by the increasingly tired Leon and the equipment she was using.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
“All clones! Where is she- Ah!”
Aquarina was one second too late, as the ant queen had leaped above her, her claws grabbing her head.
“It’s over! I win!”
“Ugh?!”
BA DUM!
Aquarina felt sick out of nowhere. Her Mana and Lifeforce were being drained at an immensely rapid rate! The ant queen laughed, her power growing so immense that her aura instantly suppressed Aquarina, pushing her down into the ground.
BAAAM!
With her legs over her body and her claw grasping her skull, Aquarina’s demise was ever approaching. She began coughing blood, feeling sickly and growing pale…
“IT’S MY VICTORY! GYAHAHAHAHA! I WIN! I WON!!!”
“Ugh… You think you won…?”
“Uh? You’re still alive?”
The ant queen lowered her head, looking at Aquarina with a smug smile. Her mandibles clicked as her giant red eyes met Aquarina’s eyes.
“You sure cling to life so much, pathetic little ant… But once I am done with you, you’ll-”
“ACK?!”
However, at that moment, the ant queen vomited black blood.
“W-Wha…?!”
She looked back at Aquarina, who was smiling at her while partially transformed into her Abyssal Embodiment form.
“Did you have your fill? Was it tasty, my darkness?”
“A-Ahhh! But I thought you had…!”
“Deactivated it? Yes, for a second. I was baiting you this entire time… You became wary when you absorbed my energy while I was in my Abyssal Embodiment form, so you started attacking me physically… But when I returned to normal midway through, you immediately seized the opportunity. You’re opportunistic.”
“S-SHUT UP- ACCK!”
However, the ant queen continued vomiting black blood as she felt weakened. Her body slowly started turning black. The curse had become too deep, beginning to make her rot from the inside out.
“Uuugggh…! T-This can’t…! S-Sister…! SISTER, SAVE MEEEEE!”
As she screamed, her sister only gave her a single glare, squinting her eyes at her but deeming her useless.
“So pathetic. In our mother’s world, we don’t need weaklings like you, sister.”
“A-AAHH…! H-HOW CAN YOU SAY THAT?!”
“Looks like this is MY victory.”
Aquarina walked toward the ant queen, her aura suddenly growing stronger and stronger…
“Impossible…! You still had so much energy in reserve?!”
“No, I’m eating yours.”
“AAAHH?!”
In that moment, the Ant Queen realized that the curse was still part of Aquarina. The darkness, the miasma-like substance, all parts of her.
She was slowly being eaten from the inside out!
“Y-You…! You had me… from the beginning, eating that shit?!”
Aquarina smiled, her fists glowing with golden lightning as she stood in front of the dying queen…
“What’s wrong, wasn’t I delicious?”
“H-Have…! Have mercy!”
“Mercy? Sure, here’s a full course of mercy for you. Take it to the afterlife!”
Aquarina’s fists rushed down toward the ant queen!
“ORRAAAAAHHH!”
BAAM! BAAM! BAAM! BAAM! BAAM! BAAM!
Aquarina unleashed a barrage of punches, covering the ant queen’s entire body, blowing massive holes through her as her legs, arms, and torso started exploding and breaking apart.
“GRUUUAAAEEEGGGHHHH!”
Until, at the end, the last punch reached her face, overflowing with Aquarina’s wrath and frustration.
“Here’s your dessert! Make sure to fucking TASTE it well!”
BOOOMMM!!!
While screaming in horror and disbelief, the ant queen exploded into flames and lightning, dying once and for all.
As Aquarina looked back at her friends while pieces of the ant queen fell onto the floor behind her, she sighed.
“Good grief.”
