Chapter 1812: Nepheline’s Divine Authority
—–
RUMBLE!
Gigantic mountains rose from the ground, piercing and destroying the Divine Lava Hands and the Divine Volcanic Spires. Massive blades made of shadows, skeletons, and specters rose, clashing against Volcanic Beasts that emerged from the Magma Seas. Ocean tsunamis constantly drowned as much land as they could.
“You dare believe you stand a chance?! With that cheap imitation of a true Divine Realm?! Foolish mortals, you’re not even worth my time! PERISH!”
Armageddon seemed to have grown irritated, as her Divine Magic manifested. The sky around and above her shone brightly. Hundreds of sparkling red lights appeared and then descended constantly, raining massive blazing meteors, each over a hundred meters tall, toward Aquarina and her family’s domain.
BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM!
The hundreds of meteors exploded continuously, coming from the skies without end, dealing massive damage to their combined Domain. It started to weaken, being pushed back before it could expand all the way to where the Divine Avatar was located.
“Aaagh, damn it! That bitch wasn’t even going serious yet?!” Aquarina complained. “Ugh, we’re too far away from her! Damn coward!”
“If we step out of this Domain, we might be able to reach her, but the kids might die instantly if we leave them behind!” Nepheline said.
“No, we definitely cannot leave this place, Nepheline! Not just because of them, but you simply can’t be reckless. Facing her head-on will be too dangerous. I know we used to be reckless as heroes, but we’re parents now. We must prioritize our own survival as well!” Shade said.
“That’s right…” Nepheline smiled. “Then we simply have to go even further beyond! ALL-OUT!!!”
Nepheline roared, as her Mana and Ki erupted from her body, fusing into her Developing Divinity. Her body began to transform, her Spirits fusing with her one after another, turning her into a Spiritual being.
“{Divine Spirit Fusion: Divine Mountain Titan Queen}!”
RUMBLE!
Her body suddenly grew incredibly tall, reaching over a hundred meters in height, fusing with Smilkas, Crystallion, and Quake. Their Spiritual Powers flowed through her entire being, turning her into a giantess of stone, crystals, and dirt, with plants growing over her body.
This was a form Aquarina had never seen her mother take. She had seen her father transform into a giant being of darkness back when he and Allan fought Arachne and Lolth, but this was completely different.
“{Pseudo Divine Authority}: {Heavenly Mountain Rise}!!!”
With a furious, titanic roar, Nepheline raised her hands upward, as a giant mountain, the largest she had ever manifested, surged, rising higher and higher. It grew hundreds of meters, then kilometers, then dozens of kilometers, increasing in size as Nepheline aimed to reach the Divine Avatar of Armageddon with her raw magic power alone.
“H A A A A A H H H H !”
With a mighty cry, her powers continued to manifest. The mountain shone brightly, composed of spiritual crystals that glowed vividly. Their elemental and spirit power combined, spiraling into a massive multicolored crystal storm.
“{Pseudo Divine Authority}: {Divine Spirit Crystal Storm}!!!”
F L U O O O S H !
The massive storm engulfed a large number of the incoming meteors that tried to destroy the mountain before it reached the Divine Avatar, tearing them to pieces one after another. Nepheline then walked across the mountain and grabbed everyone, carrying them in one of her gigantic hands made of stone, metals, and crystals.
“Let’s go! I’ve created a bridge! It will expand our Domains as it grows!”
“That’s amazing, Mom!” Aquarina was completely flabbergasted by what she saw.
“Amazingly well done! But isn’t this straining you?!” Shade panicked, noticing that his wife had not yet mastered this power.
“Smilkas and the other guys are helping me take the weight! I’m alright!” Nepheline smiled, winking at her husband. “Don’t worry about me, we got this! We have to reach that bitch and smash her to smithereens! Shade, conserve your power! Between the two of us, you’ve always been better at killing. Use that power against her once we get close enough, okay?”
“Are you crazy?! I can’t leave this all to you!” Shade said angrily. “Nepheline! What did we talk about being reckless before?!”
“And what did we talk about trusting each other?! We’ve been married for almost twenty years now! Are you seriously not trusting me yet?!” Nepheline said angrily, manifesting a titanic hammer out of dozens of mountains merging together.
“{Pseudo Divine Authority}: {World-Shattering Divine Hammer: Gaia}!!!”
Nepheline swung her massive hammer, smashing dozens of meteors coming at them from the skies and making them explode in midair before they could reach the mountain.
CRAAASH!
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
At the same time, Aquarina and Shade nodded, realizing this was Nepheline’s plan. They unleashed their Auras, further combining them with their Fused Domains, manipulating the Domain and controlling its nature the same way as before.
Aquarina conjured massive tsunamis and then, with her imagination, created long sea serpents that pierced through the bodies of the Volcanic Beasts chasing them from afar, resembling massive ants or chimeric beasts.
Shade’s strange Domain was also the strongest of the three. It included its own summoned entities. Giant skeletons and specters, all made of abyssal void and shadows, emerged endlessly. The largest reached heights of over twenty meters, swarming the Volcanic Beasts, Divine Lava Hands, and stopping the Volcanic Spires.
“Aquarina and her parents are doing everything…” Silvia sighed. “It feels like we’re just burdens!”
“If it wasn’t for us, they might be having an easier time…” Justicio muttered. “What can we even do? We are too weak…”
“D-Don’t say that! When we combined our strength, we were able to defeat that powerful ant, right? And it was as strong as a Tier 10 entity, so…” Agua cried.
“We never truly defeated it. That thing ended up reviving and became even stronger… Without Aquarina or Quetzal, we would have been done for…” Justicio said. “We just have to accept it… we can’t really-”
“No, I won’t accept it…!” Agua interrupted him.
