Chapter 1880: The Next Morning
—–
“Sylphy!” Aquarina hugged me tightly. “I love you! I love you so much!”
She ended up lifting me up from the water as she stood up, carrying me with her arms like before, while we kissed.
“So when are we getting married?” she asked, smiling.
“Um, I don’t know… But I was planning next year?” I wondered. “Whenever we return to Agartha. I don’t really want to do something in the capital. What do you think?”
“Sounds great!” she nodded. “We’ll invite all our friends! Right~?”
“Yeah, yeah!” I nodded. “I want everyone to return first of course, so we’ll have to wait a little bit, I hope you’re okay with that?”
“Of course, I’m fine with that!” she said happily, as she finally let go of me. “Um, I guess we should quickly finish our bath, we’ve been here for too long…”
“Hahah, yeeaah, let’s do it,” I nodded.
We quickly washed our bodies a last time, and made sure we also washed our hair and everything… It still ended a bit lewd because Aquarina wouldn’t stop grabbing my butt and sometimes my tail… yes, it popped up sometimes.
“Phew~”
Once we finished bathing, we walked back to my room, where we dressed up on something comfier for the rest of the day.
We weren’t going anywhere now so it was fine…
I mostly put on a white dress myself, white stockings and… that’s about it.
Aquarina put on some tight black shorts and a short black blouse.
While waiting for dinner, we sat down over my bed while talking about what we went through and the future that awaited us.
We’ve been mostly in the clouds, too in love with thinking a bit more carefully about what was next in our lives.
But we really didn’t want to sour the mood and talk about the Gods or the Evil God of Dungeons right now.
“So what do you plan to do for the year, though?” Aquarina wondered. “We still got some time left and all…”
“Ahh, I plan to finish my studies here with Master Felicia first,” I said. “We’ll also explore the dungeons, you’ll have fun, don’t worry… There’s also a dungeon I need to go, for Ignatius evolution.”
“Which one?” Aquarina asked curiously, resting her face over my chest, using my breasts as pillows.
“It’s a special dungeon where there seems to be some sort of tomb for a dragon,” I explained. “There’s some special very tough monsters I want to hunt, but I have not been allowed there by my dad yet…”
“Really? Why?” Aquarina wondered.
“I don’t know why, there’s something he’s hiding to me,” I said. “I think he’s related to whatever happened to that place… I’m a little worried.”
“Hmm…” Aquarina rubbed her face on my chest. “Well, whatever it is, we’ll solve it together… don’t worry… couldn’t be worse than fighting a spirit goddess monster I fought before…”
“Yeah, for sure,” I giggled. “And well, after that… I guess just growing stronger and training more? You’ll love doing that right?”
“I guess~” she said. “Well, I’d like to take things easy, I’ve trained too much in the last two years… Maybe just gathering resources and crafting and doing alchemy for now, I want to hone those Skills as much as possible.”
“Really? Well, I’m sure you’ll be able to do it just fine then!” I nodded. “I’ll help out in anything I can… also you’ll have to do that task from Master Felicia, so get ready.”
“I know~ It’ll be boring… will you stay with me through it?” she asked with puppy eyes.
“Hehe, okay~” I giggled, kissing her forehead. “I’ll cheer you up so you can do it super-fast!”
“Alright then, thank you,” Aquarina said.
“But what are YOUR plans though?” I asked. “I know we’re together and everything, but I hope you don’t plan to just follow whatever I want to do right? You got some plans?”
“Yep, I got a few…” Aquarina said. “I wanted to go back to the Dry Steppes with you and the rest of our friends, so we can meet the friends I made there.”
“Oooh! Sounds nice!” I said. “I want to explore that place and harvest resources and also meet the locals. I’m really interested, actually! Also there was like an underground dungeon nearby, right?”
“Oh yeah, the Underwater Dungeon… my mom and my dad visited it, I didn’t do it because they said it was too weird,” Aquarina said. “Apparently… they said there was like, a Kingdom of people down there?”
“Wait, what?!” I gasped. “L-Like the people from my Dungeon?”
“Uh? Oh yeah! That’s what was making me think I had seen that before…!” Aquarina nodded. “They don’t really know how they even got there though, but my parents heard they had… Um, okay, get ready for this…”
“What?” I wondered.
“They time traveled! Crazy right? No way that’s true! Hahaha…!” Aquarina laughed out loud. “How would they ever time travel? That seems like a load of weird stuff… but they were convinced that they did! The people down there I mean…”
“No way… but that’s impossible, time traveling… not even “Time Magic” can do something so ridiculous,” I said. “Do you know more about them? Like, their culture and stuff?”
“Not really, I didn’t see much, but there was something about some sort of rainbow shell they used to fuel their prime magic… and, um, I don’t know,” Aquarina said, yawning. “I think it’s pretty convoluted and confusing, really.”
“It is but… I’m so intrigued now, we definitely have to go visit those people once we get there, Aquarina!” I said. “It might help us find out a lot about the past if they really time traveled… and if they didn’t, there’s a mystery we should solve, one related to Dungeons… Dungeons with civilizations inside… So mine wasn’t the first one, and who knows, there could be even more out there.”
“Wait, what? More?” Aquarina raised an eyebrow. “But that sounds crazy… why would there be dungeons with civilizations that just pop up? Yours was a unique circumstance…”
