Chapter 1916: Limitless Divine Spirit Heart Mana Refinement Method
—–
“As you can see, I’ve already planted the seeds. The Divine Treasures are growing all across this entire Divine Realm!” she declared. “The stars, the moons, and this giant planet—they’re all overflowing with them! It will take some time for them to mature enough to harvest and use, however. But if you keep supplying Mana, I can refine it directly into Divine Power and feed it to them—and to myself—helping us grow much faster too.”
“Okay, I don’t really mind. I’m surprised, but it seems I can handle more pressure than I originally thought,” I said with a bright smile. “Anyway! Are you happy now, Armageddon?”
“I must say I am! I love this place! Hahaha! Perhaps you were right—you and I can work together! We can forge our path forward! Your Endless Mana and my genius!” she laughed heartily. “We’ll be the strongest duo against the gods!”
“Y-Yeah! Sure,” I replied, laughing awkwardly as her visionary fervor caught me off guard. “So could you create some method for me to—”
“Here!” she interrupted, waving her hand. A red scroll materialized, its scorched paper adorned with gleaming golden runes. “This is a Method I created while forging my Divine Realm. It’s the Limitless Divine Spirit Heart Mana Refinement Method. It will slowly shape part of your soul into a Divine Spirit Heart that absorbs Mana and pumps it out as Divine Power and Divine Spirit Power—you choose which.”
“Woah, really?!” I gasped. “T-That easy?”
“Your Mana is boundless. You’ve been doing everything wrong, Sylph!” she said firmly. “Now, with me guiding you, your path will finally become clear… Heheh, make sure to learn that technique quickly. I’m already making more to cover your weaknesses.”
“Thank you, Armageddon!” I said, genuinely delighted.
I examined the cultivation technique several times with my Spirits. There was nothing harmful in it, appearing completely flawless. Armageddon couldn’t lie or betray me anyway; I could undo her existence and reabsorb her in an instant if she tried. She was sincerely helping me.
Alice, Yggdra, and Naturia had also sensed her emotions and confirmed she was being honest and truthful. She might still be evil at heart, but she wanted to be evil alongside me… which was fine, as long as we could direct that malice toward the gods.
“Should I learn it here and practice it?” I wondered aloud. “Armageddon, can you help me?”
“I can,” she replied. “I don’t have much else to do here. I’ll start creating eggs for my new children later, though.”
“Oh, so you’re making new children?” I asked curiously.
“I’ve decided to create a new species—not the same monsters as before,” she explained. “They will be a Demigod Race of Divine Ants, more intelligent than humans! My own race! I will name them… Uhh, well, that’s still a work in progress.”
“Sounds interesting. If you could gather their faith toward us…” I mused.
“Yes, both of us will be worshiped at the same time,” she nodded. “It’ll be for the better. My growth is tied to yours anyway… I hate to admit it, but this is how it will be. Ugh… whatever. Just get to it! Read the scroll. Once you understand the divine formula, it will imprint into your soul automatically.”
“No funny business, right?” I asked cautiously.
“It’s fine if you don’t trust me yet,” she said. “But we made a Divine Soul Vow as part of our deal. If I break it, your soul will automatically devour me. Do you think I can afford to lie and lose everything I have now? We share the same goals, so I don’t wish you harm… I’m still processing everything myself, and I won’t change my convictions either. I still see mortals as pathetic, but… you’re not a mortal. With your power, you’re a goddess, like me. We are equals, and you’re my master. You revived me… you even gave me this realm. If I’m not sincere now, then when? I don’t want to break our trust.”
“I see. Thank you,” I nodded. “I can sense your Emotions and Intentions. You’re not lying… which is nice. Now the only thing left is to learn this method! Let’s unravel it together, shall we? How do I do this—just read and learn it naturally?”
“By the stars, do I have to teach you every little thing? Just read it and be done with it!” Armageddon snapped, her temper flaring the moment I asked twice.
“Hey! Be nice to Sylphy—she’s your master!” Alice scolded. “And this entire world you made wouldn’t exist without her kindness. Be patient. She’s not a million-year-old spirit like you!”
“Nnggh, I’m not that old!” Armageddon hissed. “…I think.”
“Anyway, let me see that scroll. I’m interested now,” Ignatius said, leaning in to inspect it. “Hmmm… uh-huh, okay.”
“Wait, did you understand it?!” Beelzebub exclaimed. We all stared in shock.
“Nope,” Ignatius admitted. “I couldn’t understand a single thing…”
We all facepalmed—even Armageddon.
“Seriously! This scroll was made for the girl, not for you, dragon ghost!” Armageddon barked angrily. “So scram!”
“What?! Who are you telling to scram?!” Ignatius shot back.
“It’s okay, I’ll read it,” I said calmly, beginning to study the red scroll of the Limitless Divine Spirit Heart Mana Refinement Method.
Surprisingly, the words were clear and accessible to me. I finally began to grasp how these things truly worked. Cultivation Methods were formulas similar to Magic Circles, built on specific fluctuations of Mana, movements of the body, interactions with materials, the environment, and Ki.
These formulas combined in precise sequences to generate continuous power, effects, or abilities that grew stronger with repetition. Sometimes additional requirements were needed—ingredients, specific emotions, mental states, and more.
The Limitless Divine Spirit Heart Mana Refinement Method had been crafted specifically for me. It would never work for anyone else. Armageddon had designed it as the perfect Foundation Method for someone with seemingly Endless Mana.
Best of all, once I finished reading, the scroll disintegrated into red fragments. Its golden letters imprinted directly into my soul, becoming something far more intricate than a mere Spell.
“I see… so that’s how it is,” I murmured, analyzing the knowledge. “I must first gather absurd quantities of Mana and form an entirely new Heart out of pure Mana within my Soul. Then infuse it with Spirit Energy and begin compressing it endlessly, consuming more and more ridiculous amounts of Mana without limit. After that, I merge the Heart with my Divine Soul. The more Mana the Heart absorbs, the more Divine Power or Divine Spirit Power—or both—it pumps out.”
“Is that how the Limitless Divine Spirit Heart Mana Refinement Method works?” Alice asked in awe. “That’s impressive… it’s truly unique. We would never have imagined creating something so complex from scratch.”
“Yep, that’s why it’s so special,” I nodded. “Now… let’s begin.”
