Chapter 1917: A New Way To Grow Stronger
—–
“To start with, Armageddon calculated everything I had and took it all into account. This Method requires me to use my Yggdragon Double and Triple Aura in conjunction with all of my Spirits. So come to me, everyone!”
Their bodies swiftly melted into Spiritual Essence, merging seamlessly with my Yggdragon Quintuple Aura. Five vibrant colors surged—Fire, Nature, Space, Holy Light, and Metal—only to be absorbed by the Spirits and transformed into a radiant torrent of countless hues.
Following the formula and its precise instructions, I gathered these flows of energy, compressed them tightly, and guided them deep inside my own Soul. I had never attempted to channel my Yggdragon Aura directly into my Soul before, yet it succeeded on the first try.
The Yggdragon Aura, now resembling dozens of shimmering rivers of colorful light, began to converge as I released Endless Mana, fusing everything together.
With total concentration, I poured my mind into the task, slowly shaping the Mana and Spirit Flow into the form of a Heart. This proved the most difficult step, demanding a long, painstaking effort.
However.
BA DUM!
BA DUM!
BA DUM!
After three relentless hours of trial and adjustment, I finally succeeded. The newborn Heart gradually unified with my Divine Soul, absorbing its Divine Power and the endless stream of Mana that flowed through it.
Wait, so that’s how it works!
The reason this must happen inside my Soul is simple: my Soul constantly channels Mana through itself. By working within it, I avoid exerting crushing external pressure on the flow.
The new heart swelled larger and more solid, shifting from ethereal to truly tangible. It began drawing in millions of units of Mana per second and pumping out refined Divine Power.
“Wow… Whoa!”
FLAAASH!
The transformation struck instantly! My body and Soul overflowed with Divine Power until it felt almost unbearable. Yet I held firm, refining the surge, storing it carefully, expanding the Divinity within my Soul and steadily strengthening it.
“It’s done…! I did it, Armageddon!” I cried out in triumph.
“Hmph, that’s merely the beginning!” she replied. “Now reach Grand Perfection Grade with that Method, and I’ll grant you the second one you need to progress further.”
“This is honestly ridiculous. I’m accomplishing in seconds what once took me weeks! It’s completely out of this world!” I exclaimed.
“Hah! Of course it is. Who do you think you’re speaking to? I am a Goddess, after all, and a Great Spirit who has lived for hundreds of thousands of years. No one in the mortal realm knows more about moving, cultivating, and transforming the energies of this world,” she laughed proudly. “Now, preparations are complete. Admire!”
“Eh?” I turned to Armageddon as she waved her hand.
Divine Power and fragments of her Soul converged into a dozen horse-sized white eggs, which she gently placed on the ground.
“This is my first batch!” she declared. “Now awaken, my Children of Fire and Destruction!”
She fed the eggs her divine blood. The eggs absorbed it eagerly and swelled to twice their size. From within each one, I heard tiny hearts beating faster and stronger, growing more powerful by the moment.
Eventually the eggs cracked open. “Small” humanoid ants with soft white exoskeletons emerged—each the size of an adult human at birth and inheriting their mother’s humanoid shape.
Every one carried a small yet substantial amount of Divine Power. Though it paled beside a Divine Spark, Divine Concept, or full Divinity, it far surpassed those born with nothing.
“Here, my children, feed.”
Armageddon tore open the volcano beneath her. A vast mine of fire spirit stones rose up. She seized a mountain-sized chunk, crushed it into fragments, and scattered them for the ants to consume slowly.
“Have you thought about a name for them?” I asked.
“Yes!” Armageddon answered. “They shall be known as Pyrrhaxians—Proud Flame People.”
“Huh…”
“I refuse to let them be mere monsters. They will become an ultimate race of divine beings born to dominate!” she declared fiercely. “No longer trampled, their power will know no equals and no bounds. You twelve are my firstborn. Each of you shall receive a Divine Name.”
Armageddon began naming her twelve children. They gazed up at her with innocent red eyes—surprisingly cute despite their gigantic insectoid forms. As she bestowed each name, a flickering crown of flames appeared above their heads. Every crown differed in shape and fire type, granting a unique Authority.
Wait, did she just create her own Pantheon of Gods?!
“Um, Armageddon, what’s happening now?” I asked cautiously.
“I’ve named my Twelve Children,” she explained. “They will become the predecessors to the Twelve Families born from each of them. They are all intersex and capable of laying eggs independently. Still, I expect them to mate with one another to enrich their genes.”
“Wow, incest,” I muttered.
“And the crowns?”
“They signify their Noble Status,” she stated. “All of them wield a Divine Authority. It is weak for now, but in time they will grow. As these Twelve Gods ascend, so will our own Pantheon! Wonderful, isn’t it?”
“It’s crazy that you just made a Pantheon of Gods…” I murmured.
“What? Don’t tell me you can’t do the same!” she laughed. “Your Spirits and Familiars seem like perfect candidates—intrinsically connected to you. They should be able to receive a Divine Authority Crown and… ah, right, you don’t even know how yet, do you?”
“Of course I don’t know what the hell that is, but it sounds cool as hell!” I said excitedly. “Teach me! Wait—before that, how did you even create such a Divine Technique?”
“Heh, living for hundreds of thousands of years gives you endless time to think and invent countless things. Most of those techniques were useless until now, when I finally have an Endless Source of Power to make them real,” she replied. “Worry not. I’ll teach it to you once you master the Limitless Divine Spirit Heart Mana Refinement Method! See? I am a benevolent goddess. I only ask you to work hard.”
“Okay, sure, you’re sooo benevolent,” I sighed. “I’ll do my best to reach Grand Perfection, but it feels like it might take years.”
“Years?! Hah! With your potential and your energy reserves? Don’t make me laugh—master it within a month!” she demanded. “I told you already, Sylph. The only limit you have is your own lack of confidence. You can do it. You’re greater, better than anyone else. Believe in your greatness! Where’s your ego? As a Goddess, you must be proud of who you are and where you stand!”
“Hahaha, thank you. I prefer being humble, though,” I sighed. “But I’ll keep what you said in mind… Anyway! I have to go, so take care and behave, okay? And don’t invade other Floors or I’ll know.”
“Yes, yes, just go,” she waved dismissively. “Time to build my Divine Castle—it shall float in the skies! And I will forge a Divine Kingdom!”
She was clearly having the time of her life.
