I stepped out of the Divine Realm that the sixth floor of my Dungeon had transformed into, feeling a touch of exhaustion and marveling at the new beating heart within my soul—one woven from my own Aura and Endless Mana. The more I dwelled on it, the more insane it seemed. I still could hardly believe such a powerful method had come so easily. Reviving that evil goddess really had been the best decision I could have made.
“Sylphy, I have a little surprise for you,” Alice said, smiling warmly as a new system notification appeared before me.

“Yeah, I figured out a way to do it, the same way the System displays your current progress on your Magic Circle, Physique, and so on,” Alice explained. “You haven’t checked your status in a while. Why not take a look?”
“Hmm, you’re right. Let’s see it,” I nodded.

“Oh wow, it really has changed quite a bit since the last time I checked,” I said, nodding slowly. “My Bonus Stats have increased again… though I still can’t level up normally like everyone else, it’s satisfying to see those bonuses grow. My other frozen stats still rise proportionally with my cultivation progress anyway, even if the base numbers stay low. These bonuses don’t factor into those calculations, right?” I asked.
“They don’t. They’re a separate stat distribution I managed to make real by layering a new, non-glitched status over the frozen, glitched one,” Alice explained.
“Wait, if the other status isn’t glitched, then could I use it to…?” I began, but Alice’s sharp, intense stare cut my wild thoughts short.
“No, you can’t, unfortunately,” she sighed. “It was designed specifically for this purpose. That’s why I could create the Bonus Stats System and nothing more. Anything beyond that would destabilize the frozen status.”
“Is it possible to unfreeze it, even though I know keeping it frozen is better?” I wondered.
“No…” Alice answered with firm certainty. “The System Core is glitched, and it has grown—or rather, I have grown—through that glitched state and evolved into what I am now. I no longer feel pain or anything else. The System and how it functions have become a fundamental part of my being.”
“So that’s it…” I nodded. “Well! Not like it really matters, right? Anyway, with Armageddon producing so many materials, I wonder if we can use them for my Soul Cauldron and also for Ignatius. I think they should be compatible enough, but I’ll still need True Dragon Materials, which regular Dragon-type Monsters won’t drop.”
“I want to evolve already!” Ignatius kept complaining. “How long are you going to torture me?!”
“Oh, by the gods, calm down!” I sighed, facepalming. “Everything in its proper time! But I plan to handle your evolution fairly soon. We’ve been climbing ranks in the Adventurer Guild these past months. I think we should finally be allowed to enter the Dragon Tomb Dungeon on that mountain. We’ve avoided it until now because it’s the most dangerous dungeon in the Blue Mountains. Yet deep inside, it’s said the body of a true dragon rests—the very origin of the dungeon itself.”
“Oh right, monsters from that dungeon have been spreading into the others lately, haven’t they?” Yggdra asked. “You’ve been dealing with anything that shows up. Sometimes they slip into smaller dungeons and cause chaos…”
“Yeah, the first time we encountered them was those Goo things,” I sighed. “They ended up killing a lot of young adventurers… Since then, everyone has been on high alert about powerful monsters infiltrating weaker hunting grounds. We’ve worked hard to take them down whenever they’re spotted, to keep casualties as low as possible.”
Thanks to those efforts, I’ve also gathered a huge stockpile of materials. I suppose it’s finally time to put them to use in my new cauldron and maybe a few other projects… My Familiars have all been leveling steadily too—well, those that can level up, at least.
“Red’s been leveling fine, but he still needs to catch up with the rest,” I said. “Since he can’t consume souls directly, he has to eat whole monsters to satisfy his hunger… Ah well, let’s prioritize the Cultivation Method first.”
I quickly headed into my room. The sun was already high in the sky, and Aquarina was nowhere in sight, though I could still sense her presence somewhere nearby.
