Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure - Chapter 1240: Demons all over the place
Chapter 1240: Demons all over the place
The main battlefield wasn’t that far, so we arrived in almost no time at all.
It was especially fast since all four of the empires had sent airships to come pick us up.
Even though their delegates had acted that way, the fact that they sent airships was more than enough to show just how desperate the situation on the battlefield was.
When we arrived, we could see that it was much more intense than any of the battlefields that we had been on previously.
But at the same time…
“There’s so many specimens.” Puffer said with a glint in her eyes.
There really was no stopping her…but she also wasn’t wrong.
Since this was the main battlefield, that meant that there were far more of the demons with corruption energy that were gathered here.
They were spread out all over the battlefield and were pushing back the human forces.
It was more than enough to show just how much power each of the demons with corruption power had.
After all, they just couldn’t be killed that easily.
Against humans that were cursed with their own mortality, they could just keep pushing them back again and again.
So the only thing that the humans could do was concentrate their firepower to suppress the demons with corruption energy. All they could do was try to hurt them enough that they would run out of corruption energy and die.
But the problem with that was that it created many casualties for the human race.
It wasn’t as if the demons would just let the humans attack the demons that had corruption energy. It meant that they had to divert many of their forces to fighting these immortal demons, so other places had to suffer.
Even the ones that fought the immortal demons suffered as well.
It really seemed like in terms of attrition, the human race was on the back burner.
But while observing the battle, I could also see that there were some interesting things.
These were things that I recognized from the game because these were the trump cards of the four empires.
There was the power of the holy knights along with the priests that cast their holy magic. That seemed like the only thing that could push back the demons with the corruption energy fully.
The Tide Empire troops fought in a similar way to the mermen that I had observed under the sea. They fought with tridents, but they also controlled water that they brought with them to trap the demons.
The Sorcery Empire used their spells to create mass destruction on the battlefield, which was effective in mowing down the smaller demons. Though when it came to the demons that had the corruption energy, the effects weren’t as good.
Finally, there were the tanks of the Democratic Union.
These were magitech tanks that used mana as a power source, so it was different from the tanks that I was familiar with.
But they still functioned like the tanks from my previous world.
Seeing them really filled me with excitement since this kind of magic tech really was something that one couldn’t help geeking over.
It was just that the main firepower of these things were being distracted by the demons with corruption energy.
Even the firepower of these things couldn’t stop the demons with corruption energy.
After observing the battlefield for a bit, I was called on by a few people that came over to greet us.
After greeting us, they brought us over to a main tent in the backlines of the human army. In this place, there were several people who were dressed to impress that were gathered around. Each of them had medals on their chests, showing that they were decorated combatants. These were the generals from the different kingdoms.
In the center of this tent were several generals that had a completely different aura from the rest.
The one that stuck out the most was the one that was in full white armour, who was clearly a paladin from the Holy Empire.
The ones that were with this paladin were no doubt high ranking members of the other three empires.
The moment that we came in, all eyes turned in our direction.
Or it was better to say that all eyes turned in my direction.
It seemed that all of them knew who I was.
If it was any other situation, then it would have been a nerve racking thing to be stared at by everyone like this, but I knew that I had to keep a calm look in this situation.
After all, I wasn’t just representing my kingdom.
How they viewed me would be how they would treat our kingdom in the future.
So I couldn’t mess this up.
I didn’t say anything as I walked towards the center of the tent where the generals from the four empires were.
These generals didn’t seem to react, but the generals from the other kingdoms did.
All of them knitted their brows to varying degrees, almost as if they weren’t happy seeing the way that I acted.
After all, even if I was someone to be feared, that didn’t mean that I should see myself as someone being on the same level as the generals from the four empires. The way that I was moving towards them was almost as if I put myself as their equals.
In the end, no one said a single thing as I walked over.
When I stood there with them, one of them said, “Your majesty Zwein, it seems that you’re finally here.”
Another one of them said, “Since you’re here, are you going to tell us what your plans are?”
The two of them seemed to have a trace of hostility in their voice as they said this, but I wasn’t surprised since I could tell that these two were from the Sorcery Empire and the Democratic Union.
In response to this, I just simply said, “I’ve already chosen where I’ll be going, I just came to
report to you.”
All of them knitted their brows when they heard this.
