When I went back, I found that Moon and Aisha were both waiting for me where Moon lived.
With the way that they were sitting there, it was as if they hadn’t talked to each other the entire time. At the same time, it really seemed like they had been sitting exactly where they had been sitting previously.
It was already several hours since I had left this place and they were still sitting there.
I couldn’t help looking at the two of them with a concerned look when I saw them like this, but it seemed like the two of them didn’t even seem to notice that I was back.
Both of them were just sitting there with looks of thought on their faces.
It didn’t seem like either of them were in the mood to talk to one another with how they sat there.
It just seemed like they were lost in their own thoughts.

I stood there in silence for a bit before suddenly giving a cough to draw their attention.
It didn’t seem like they heard me at first, but then they eventually turned to look at me with surprised looks when I gave a louder cough. Though that louder cough was because I had accidentally started to choke from faking this cough.

It took me a moment to catch myself before saying, “We need to talk.”
Both of them were surprised by these words, but then they just gave me their full attention as they waited to hear what I had to say.
I didn’t say anything right away as I took a seat and sat down as well.
Then before saying anything, I gestured for Moon and Aisha to move closer to each other.
The two of them were surprised to see this and they didn’t know what to do at first, but eventually they moved their chairs closer to each other. Though before they could get too close, they stopped so that there was still some space between the two of them.
Or there would have been if I didn’t give another gesture for them to move closer.
It was only when the two of them were sitting beside each other that I finally said, “About what you said earlier…”
Before I could actually finish what I had been about to say, Aisha suddenly leaned in with a smile to say, “So you’ve thought about my proposal and you’re here to say that you agree to it? If that’s the case, then what are we waiting for?”
I didn’t say anything in response as I just looked at her with an expressionless look on my face.
Seeing this, there was a bit of awkwardness that appeared in Aisha’s smile.
And when I didn’t say anything, she couldn’t help feeling even more uncomfortable until she finally couldn’t help saying, “Say something.”
I didn’t say anything at first, but then I suddenly said, “There’s no need for you to push yourself like this.”
Aisha was a bit taken aback when she heard this, but she slowly turned to look at Moon as well.

I made sure to say this in a firm voice to make sure that she understood how serious I was.
But in response to this, Aisha knitted her brows as she looked at me.
I didn’t budge when she looked at me like this, I just had the same serious look on my face.
“Is there something that you don’t like about me?” She suddenly asked in a tone that made her seem like a young girl, even though she was already a mother.
It was just that with the beauty that she had…this actually worked a bit and a part of me was a bit moved by this.
However, I quickly shut that part of me down as I said, “There’s no need for you to act like this if you want to get closer to your daughter. I know that you’re trying to do this so that you can have an excuse to stay here and get closer to her, but this is taking it too far.”
I also turned to look at Moon to say, “Also, there’s no need to go this far for your mother’s approval. She loves you, you can tell by the way that she looks at you.”
Moon slowly turned to look at Aisha while Aisha awkwardly turned to look at Moon.
Neither of them said anything at first, but then Moon slowly asked, “Is this true?”
Aisha scratched her head when she heard this before slowly giving a nod.
It was as if the flood gates had been opened in Moon’s heart as she suddenly went forward and dove at Aisha. Aisha quickly reacted and even took a step forward as she took Moon in her arms.
The two of them just silently held each other, as if they were finally reuniting after all this time.
And I just silently watched over them.
