Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure - Chapter 1519 1519: Sage Council (2)

After a long silence, the Azure Sage asked, “Isn’t this just because of your personal feelings?”
The Grey Sage nodded in agreement before saying, “If you don’t control yourself, what kind of trouble will you cause this time?”
They had taken completely opposite sides this time.
The Azure Sage was accusing him of personal feelings and the Grey Sage was trying to stop him from causing trouble.
That was just the kind of person that the White Sage was that he was able to make these two sages even put aside their differences to try and stop him.
It was more than enough to show what kind of troublemaker this White Sage was.
The White Sage didn’t seem to mind that the two of them were teaming up against him as he said with a smile, “But it’s interesting, don’t you think? He’s clearly not someone that was born with this pure and dense mana, or it would have been noticed a long time ago. This should be something that was gained later in life, so it really is something that I want to find out.”
It would be a lie to say that the sages weren’t actually interested in this matter since as far as they knew, there was only one person with this kind of pure and dense mana.
That was the White Sage with his special physique that gave him this.
The White Sage was someone that had been destined to become a sage, that was just how overwhelming his physique was.
But Zwein shouldn’t be the same…
Or at least it was too early for him to appear since this was something that should have only appeared once in a thousand years.
Still, they weren’t as determined to find out as the White Sage was.
If they let the White Sage do what he wanted, there was even the chance that he might have cut up Zwein.
If he were to cut him up, especially someone with Zwein’s status…well, it wouldn’t just be a simple international incident.
It would be an international crisis.
Especially since they were dealing with the God of Destruction’s resurrection right now that could threaten the entire world.
So they naturally couldn’t let the White Sage do what he wanted.
The White Sage also knew this, so he simply said, “There’s nothing else to discuss on this matter. We’ll just send them off since we can’t touch them in the first place. At the same time, we’ll keep exploring the ruins just in case we find anything new.”
The sages didn’t seem like they were satisfied with the way that things ended, only there wasn’t anything that they could say in regards to this.
After all, this was already the best case scenario in terms of this matter.
If they were to push this, then all that would happen is that they would cause more trouble in one place or another.
But it really felt like something was on their chest letting things end like this.
“I have something that I want to propose.” The White Sage suddenly said these words that pulled them all out of their thoughts.
All of the sages looked at the White Sage with surprised looks before knitting their brows with worry.
It was clear that none of them actually trusted the White Sage with the way that they looked at him.
But they were also curious about what he wanted to say.
“Let’s do our own exchange program.” The White Sage said with a smile that seemed like he didn’t care about what anyone thought of what he said.
“Huh?”
All of the other sages looked at him with strange looks when they heard this.
It wasn’t that they didn’t understand what he said, it was just that they didn’t know why he was saying this.
“Exchange program where?” The Azure Sage slowly asked this question.
“Where else?” The White Sage said with a wide smile.
Just this was enough for them to know what the White Sage was thinking.
At first, it seemed like they didn’t know what to think about this. But the more that they thought about it, it seemed like the sages were slowly coming around on this idea.
After all, it wasn’t as if it was a bad idea.
Perhaps they might not have had anything to gain if it was just a human kingdom alone, but it clearly wasn’t just a human kingdom. This was a human kingdom that had connections to many different races.
Each race had their own form of magic, which was something that the younger magicians would be interested in. At the same time, it would also be good to let the younger generation get to know the younger generation from the other races.
They had already seen the effects of this when they had interacted with the sea witches that came for this exchange program.
So the more that they thought about it, the more that they viewed this idea in a positive light.
After all, it really didn’t seem like there was a downside to this.
At the same time, it didn’t seem like the other side would reject this since they had already agreed to host this exchange on their end. So the only thing that they could do now was reciprocate.
Once it seemed like all of the sages agreed to this, they immediately started looking at each other as if they didn’t trust each other.
It wasn’t that they didn’t trust each other per se, it was just that they were about to compete with each other regarding this.
They all wanted to be the one that led the group that went for the study exchange.
After all, they were scholars as well as magicians, so it was only natural that they were very excited about this kind of thing.
The sages no longer looked like sages, they looked like kids that were about to fight over something that they wanted.
At least this showed the kind of passion that they had.
