Once those two days were up, there was no need for us to remain in the Brownie Kingdom any longer.

It was clear that there were some people that wanted us to stay to help them explore the castle, but we didn’t spend any more time in this place.

After all, there wasn’t anything that was here for us.

Instead, I headed back to the Holy Empire.

This Relic of Destruction still had to be sealed after all and there was no better place than the Holy Empire.

When we arrived in the Holy Empire, they immediately showed me to the place that they had prepared for this last Relic of Destruction.

Only when we arrived, I couldn’t help revealing a strange look.

That was because there was this strange statue that was placed in this location.

With the way that it was placed, it even seemed like it had been incorporated as part of the seal.

I might not have felt strange about this if they used the statue of a god, but that wasn’t the case. This was a statue that wasn’t of any god that was known in this world, but it was a statue of something that was from this world.

This was a statue that I couldn’t be more familiar with.

That was because this was a statue of me.

I didn’t know why they did something like this, but it certainly felt strange seeing this statue of me being made a part of this seal.

However, that wasn’t the strangest thing about all of this.

The strangest thing about all of this was the fact that I felt some kind of connection coming from that statue. It wasn’t a connection that was linked to me personally, but it seemed to be linked to the divine energy inside of me.

I felt this even more intensely when I saw someone bowing and praying in front of the statue.

It seemed like the people of the Holy Empire were treating this statue as if it was the statue of someone important. It was almost as if they were treating it as if it was the statue of a god…

So did that mean that when they bowed and prayed to it, I was absorbing their fate like a god would?

Well, it wasn’t me, but rather the divine energy that was inside of me.

If that was the case, then what did that mean?

After all, it should only be a god that was capable of doing something like this.

So if I was able to do this, did that mean that I had somehow become a god?

The more that I thought about it, the more that my head hurt. The more that my head hurt, the more panicked I started feeling about all of this.

That was why I threw it all out of my head.

“Nope, I’m not going to worry about this. Instead, I’m just going to question the gods. I’ve completed their mission, so I should at least be able to get some answers from them.”

After I came to this conclusion, I didn’t waste any time at all going to the main church to go looking for the gods.

And as soon as I arrived, I was pulled into the space from before.

But the moment that I was pulled into that space…

“Congratulations, you are now qualified.”

“Qualified?” I couldn’t help repeating in a confused voice before a trace of worry started to fill me.

“Could it be that I really was right with my conjecture from before? Was it that I was actually becoming a god?”

After this small moment of panic, I calmed myself down by taking a deep breath before saying, “What do you mean by that? Make it clear what you want to say.”

I made sure to say this in a firm voice so that the gods would give me the answer that I wanted.

After asking this, I could see that the gods were surprised by the tone of voice that I was speaking to them in, but I didn’t change that tone or the expression on my face as I waited for an answer.

Taking a momentary pause, Solista then said, “I just meant that you’re qualified to hear some new information that we have for you.” She paused for another moment before asking, “Is something wrong? You seem a bit agitated.”

I took a deep breath to calm myself before saying, “I’m fine. What is it that you want to tell me?”

I could see the way that the gods were looking at me, it was clear that they were concerned about the way that I was acting. It was just that the thought that had come to mind was just too hard to ignore…

“Well, it’s that we have the last piece of the inheritance of the God of Creation in our hands. No matter where you search for it, you’ll never be able to find it. But this isn’t something that we can give you just yet. This is something that you’ll receive after you take care of the forces of Destruction a bit more.” Solista started slowly at first, but then she finished her words strong.

My expression immediately changed when I heard this.

After all, this was something that was related to the God of Creation.

Getting involved with the God of Creation was the main reason that I was in this mess in the first place. If it wasn’t for the God of Creation, then that divine energy wouldn’t have appeared inside of me…

So does that mean that they already knew what I was thinking?

No, if they knew, then they wouldn’t have acted this way.

This was something that they had planned a long time ago and had only brought up now since it was a part of their plan.

“So what happens now?” I asked instead of asking about what they had said.

“Nothing.” Solista said straight back to me without any hesitation.
