Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure - Chapter 1692 1692: Something revealed

“Why would it erupt all of a sudden like this?” I asked the prime minister and chancellor.
But the answer that they gave was a simple shake of the head to show that they didn’t know.
I thought that they would have investigated this before bringing the report over, but it seemed that this matter wasn’t that simple.
They had only been able to find out that it was a volcano eruption and nothing else.
“Try to find as much information as you can. Also, contact the other countries to see if they know anything about it. Make sure to contact the Sorcery Empire since they’re the ones closest to that volcano.”
Though I gave them this order, I knew that they most likely had already done all of this.
Still, it felt like I should say something at this time.
Neither of them said anything about this and just nodded in agreement to what I said, but it didn’t seem like they were in a rush to do this. That just went to show that they had indeed already done all of this.
Instead of wasting time on this, I turned to the report to see the location of the volcano.
I hadn’t had time to look at it more closely before this, but there had to be something special about where this volcano was that it would erupt all of a sudden like this. Or it might even be related to the forces of Destruction.
It wouldn’t be strange if the forces of Destruction were to hide in a volcano like this.
For them, it could be considered a safe place…or based on what we knew, it could be a safe place.
Would the corruption energy be weak against the lava inside of the volcano?
This wasn’t something that we could be certain of, but it was a possibility.
As I looked closely at this, it felt strangely familiar…
It was almost as if I had seen this place somewhere before…
“Right, it was that!” I couldn’t help saying to myself all of a sudden which drew the prime minister and the chancellor’s attention.
I just ignored the two of them as they looked at me and made sure that I was thinking of the right place.
No matter how I looked at it, there was only one possibility when I looked at the location on the report.
“But why would it suddenly erupt like this? After all, the eruption means…” This time, I kept it inside. This time, I didn’t accidentally call out like I had done previously.
After looking at the report for a bit, all I could do was shake my head as I couldn’t figure out what it was that was causing this.
I looked back up at the prime minister and the chancellor who were still looking at me as if they wanted me to answer their questions, but I just calmly said, “What are you guys still doing here? Go and check to see if we have any response from the other countries yet.”
The two of them looked at me with bitter smiles on their faces.
With how they looked at me, it was as if I had been teasing them the entire time and was sending them off without any answers.
But I didn’t say anything as I just waited for the two of them to go.
So in the end, they had no choice but to head off.
However, they did look at me with a strange look before leaving.
I could guess what they were asking, but this wasn’t something that I could share with them.
After all, this was knowledge from my past life and it wasn’t knowledge that could be shared that easily. Especially if there was something off about this place now, which would mean that my knowledge would be useless.
If it was useless, then it was better if I didn’t tell them since it would make things worse if they were expecting things.
After all, this place was considered a late game area and a place where one couldn’t let their guards down for a second.
Giving them information would harm them rather than help them.
Because of everything that had happened, the racial alliance had already developed a way to hold a conference without actually being in the same room. Though when it came to important stuff, they would have preferred to do it in the same room.
However, that wasn’t an option and it was quite urgent that they discussed this matter.
So in the end, the conference was held through the magic network that the Sorcery Empire set up.
“Does anyone know what that explosion was?”
That was the first question that everyone had even though they already knew that it was a volcano eruption. What they were really asking was if anyone knew why the volcano would suddenly erupt like this.
There was no one that said anything, but I could tell that they were looking at me after saying this. It was almost as if they all thought that I would know something about this.
After all, I had given quite a few answers in the past.
But this time, it was the one from the Sorcery Empire that answered this question.
“It was a sudden eruption, but it seems like there’s something that’s under the volcano that caused this eruption.”
“Something under the volcano?” Everyone asked in a confused voice.
With a nod, the representative from the Sorcery Empire said, “It seems like there was some kind of ruins that was revealed. We don’t know exactly what it is that’s under the volcano, but there are powerful mana fluctuations that are coming from there.”
Once again, everyone fell into deep thought before someone asked, “Can we explore that place as well?”
This volcano was actually near the territory of the Sorcery Empire, but it was too dangerous for anyone to live near there which was why they had never claimed it.
As such, it could be considered free land that anyone could access.
Only people still looked at the Sorcery Empire for permission to enter.
