“I thought that you said that we would be a bit short? How did you get all of these things in the end?” I looked at the prime minister with a confused look when I saw the things that had been prepared.

Neither the prime minister nor the chancellor said anything when I asked them this.

There was an awkward smile that was on their faces after I asked them this question that made me confused.

But before I could say anything else, Haley walked over with a smile and said, “I was the one that helped them.”

I couldn’t help raising a brow to look at her with a bit of confusion after she said this.

Since Haley was the minister of finance, it was only normal that she would be helping them with this. However, the way that she had said this made it clear that she didn’t mean it like that.

It seemed that she was talking about this in a more personal manner.

“What exactly do you mean?” I couldn’t help asking in the end.

“I dipped into a bit of my private stash to help find the rest.” She said with the same smile on her face.

But the moment that she said this, I couldn’t help being shocked.

After all, what she was talking about was her private assets.

The list of materials that I had asked the prime minister and the chancellor to gather was done with the power of the Kite Kingdom. The materials that were on that list could be considered rare still, so it wasn’t as if they were that easy to gather.

I couldn’t help looking at her with a strange look after she said this, but she looked back at me with the same smile on her face.

“It’s all for you, so you don’t have to worry.” She said all of a sudden which made me knit my brows.

Looking at her like this, I said, “I’ve never expected it to be and it shouldn’t be. You worked hard for this, so you should enjoy it.”

Haley said with the same smile, “All of it was because of the support that you gave me and we’re married. When it comes to things like this, it should be shared between the two of us.”

I didn’t say anything as I looked at her with a complicated expression, but she just continued to look at me with the same firm look on her face.

In that case, there was nothing left for me to say.

Even if I said it, it wasn’t as if she would listen…

Haley just gave a simple nod in response.

Since everything had been gathered, the only thing left was to put it all away.

When we arrived at the warehouse where everything was stored, it really was quite the sight.

That was because this new Storage Ring was one of the biggest ones that the elves had. It could even be considered one of the treasures of the elven race with how big it was.

The only reason that I had been able to get this was all because Aisha had basically forced this thing onto me after we had gotten married.

I didn’t want to take it at first, but she really didn’t give me a choice as she forced it onto me.

Now I was glad that I had taken it since it certainly was useful.

Even though it packed up everything that was in this warehouse, it wasn’t full yet.

That was just how wide this Storage Ring that she gave me was.

“Alright, everything is prepared.”

After saying this to myself, I turned to the prime minister and said, “Gather the others and let’s head out.”

The prime minister nodded before heading off to call the royal guards.
