“Why are they so determined to attack us like this?”

That was the only thought that was on the mind of the Democratic Union group when they saw these lava golems and fire spirits.

They just didn’t understand why they had been surrounded like this all of a sudden.

But it didn’t matter if they could understand or not.

With a heavy sigh, the leader of the Democratic Union group said, “Take it out.”

“Sir…”

“I said take it out.” He said without any hesitation.

Once they heard this, they pulled out a large case from a bag.

It was hard to believe that this large case had fit inside of that small bag, but that was because this bag wasn’t normal. This bag was a special magic tool that the Democratic Union didn’t have a lot of since it was a special spatial magic tool.

It was similar to the Storage Rings that the elves possessed, but it wasn’t made the same way.

The Democratic Union excelled in making magic items and this spatial bag was one of those special magic items that they had created.

But it wasn’t as if they had many of them because of how rare the materials needed to make them were.

This spatial bag was something that was only used on the most important missions.

That was why this group had one of these.

After the case was pulled out, it was opened up and it revealed that there were guns that were inside of this case. However, one look would be enough to tell that these things were different from the normal guns that they had used previously.

Instead, it didn’t seem like these guns even took normal ammo.

That was because there was a slot on the side of the gun where the ammo should have gone in. Instead of taking normal ammo, it took some kind of flat form of ammo.

On the side of the case was a belt filled with these flat discs.

These flat discs were just like the ones that they had thrown at the streams of lava that had been coming at them previously.

Once they attached these belts to the guns, it seemed like they were ready to shoot them.

In the shadows, a person that was watching all of this happen couldn’t help muttering, “A grenade launcher…”

The discs that they had thrown were close enough to grenades and if they were putting these discs into a gun, then it should be a grenade launcher.

It seemed that they really wanted to blast their way out of the situation, without a single care if they were going to collapse this place or not. It seemed like the only thing that they cared about was how they would survive.

It was just that they didn’t get the chance to shoot these discs in the end.

That was because there were flames that suddenly appeared around them.

These flames didn’t waste any time in approaching the discs and soon…

“Boom!”

Before they could fire them, the discs exploded all on their own.

The ones that were caught up in the explosion of the discs didn’t have a chance to escape as they were blown to pieces. The ones that were away from the guns were hit with the shrapnel that flew out from the discs.

These discs were similar to grenades, which meant that they released shrapnel after they blew up.

With the shrapnel being released like this, they were all seriously injured.

The lava golems and the fire spirits didn’t even need to do anything and they had defeated themselves on their own.

There were unwilling looks on the faces of the Democratic Union group, but there was nothing that they could do as they were all injured by the shrapnel.

At this point, they just couldn’t muster any power at all as they laid there helplessly.

“How did this happen?” That was the only thought that was on their mind as they laid there.

None of them could understand how their own explosives had blown up all of a sudden like this.

“It seems like you’re all out of moves.” I said as I appeared from the lava.

The moment that they heard this, the members of the Democratic Union all looked shocked and they were all in disbelief.

“How could it be you?” The leader of the Democratic Union said in a shocked voice.

“Why can’t it be me?” I said with a smile.

“How can you do something like this? Letting members of the investigation team die in front of you like this?”

He really was desperate if he was saying something like this, but I wasn’t bothered at all as I said, “You’re the ones that ran first. I don’t think anyone will be speaking up for your group.”

I shook my head and said with a taunting laugh, “You were the ones that put yourselves in this situation, so there’s no one you can blame. And you’ll be blamed by your own country since you put them in that kind of situation.”

The leader of the Democratic Union group seemed to want to say something else, but I didn’t have the time to waste with him.

With a wave of my hand, the lava golems and fire spirits controlled the lava to fall down on them.

“You…You can control them? Was this all a part of your plot?” The leader of the Democratic Union group didn’t miss this.

However, it wasn’t as if I was going to say anything.

In the end, the only thing that they could do was watch as the rivers of lava fell down and drowned them in it. They could only watch as their bodies were melted away by the heat of the lava.

The only emotion that they could feel was regret over their choices.

But I didn’t care about any of that since this was what they deserved.

I didn’t even bother watching as they suffered in their final moments.
