Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure - Chapter 1714 1714: Undine (3)

“How did you know about all those places?” Ifrit asked when we finally reached the main door of this palace.
During this time, I had gone to different parts of this place and had gathered all the things that I needed to form the item that I was looking for.
As he watched me, he just couldn’t believe that I knew about all of these places.
After all, it was my first time in this place.
Even he who was a fellow Spirit King didn’t know everything about Undine’s place.
He had some idea about the barriers and the other things, but he certainly didn’t know where these different hidden spots were. As well, he had no idea how to get through the barriers like I had done.
That was why he was completely confused as to how I had done all of this.
But it wasn’t as if I could actually tell him since what I had done was cheat.
Since this place was just like the one from the game that I had played in my past life, it meant that I knew all the tricks about this place just like I knew all the tricks with Ifrit’s dungeon.
That meant that I was just using the same speedrun method to clear this place.
Though it was easier than in Ifrit’s dungeon since Undine was more of a gentle spirit as the Water Spirit King. Water was definitely much easier to handle compared to fire and lava.
One of the tricks that had been used in my past life was a glitch where this necklace was found in a place before the place that it was supposed to be obtained. That was because there was a special storage area in the game’s code where a copy of the necklace was placed there.
In this world, it meant that there was a free copy of the necklace that was found by the entrance.
In the game, one would have to actually clip through the wall to find this thing since there were invisible boundaries.
That was one of the advantages of actually being in this world rather than playing the game.
With this necklace, all of the puzzles that one would have to do in this dungeon were negated.
After all, this necklace was supposed to be proof that one had cleared those puzzles.
But if one had that necklace, then there was no reason for those puzzles to even be triggered anymore.
With this necklace, one would be able to access those places that I had gone to which contained rewards for clearing those puzzles.
That reward was the form of the item that I had created.
With the four items that I had collected, I had created a proper crown.
But I didn’t wear this crown since that wasn’t what this crown was for.
“Call it luck.” That was all that I said in response to Ifrit’s questions.
The silence that followed showed that he clearly didn’t believe me, but I didn’t care if he believed me or not. This one secret was one that I wouldn’t share with anyone, so it didn’t matter how he pestered me, I still wouldn’t tell him.
Now that I was at the main entrance of the palace, I didn’t waste any time in pushing open the door. After pushing open the door, I could see that the main hall that was in front of me was completely devoid of water.
It seemed that there was another barrier that was in the way that blocked the water from entering the main hall.
However, this one didn’t need anything to pass.
This one was just a barrier that kept the inside of the palace water free which was a bit ironic since this was the home of the Water Spirit King.
However, I knew that this was because it had been designed this way because the developers wanted it to feel like a dungeon instead of having to worry about the water that was around them.
But in reality, the truth was that it was easier for them to just turn this into an instance dungeon without the water.
That was something that had been found when the people on the web looked into the source code of the game.
Once I was inside of the main hall, I looked around to find that there was nothing here.
This place was the main hall of this palace, but it was also a place that lacked any form of decorations or clues that would guide the people that visited this place on where to go.
It had been designed in this way since this was a dungeon that one was supposed to explore to find the puzzles that would allow them to get this necklace.
But since I already knew exactly where those puzzles were, there was no need for me to visit them. Especially since I had already claimed the prize that one would have received for clearing those puzzles.
Since I had the prizes, it meant that it would be a waste of time for me to keep exploring this palace.
The only thing that I was interested in now was the Water Spirit King.
“I can sense that there’s a strong spirit that’s in the room right at the top of this palace, that’s most likely where that woman is. You should try to explore this place first to see if there’s anything that you can use…What are you doing?” Ifrit had tried offering this advice, but I completely ignored it to walk up the stairs.
I was heading right for the room that he was telling me to avoid.
“That woman is right there and she’s not that easy to deal with, even if she is the most gentle of the Spirit Kings. You need to prepare yourself before dealing with her.”
“It’s fine, I know what I’m doing.”
Though Ifrit wasn’t saying anything, I knew what he was feeling.
But I just pushed open the door to the throne room and walked in.
