Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure - Chapter 1759 1759: Planning a purge

After the array had been dealt with, there was still much to be done.
After all, the damages that the forces of Destruction had done on the land of the orcs was evident.
This was not something that could be solved in a short period of time, this was something that would take a while to recover from.
As such, there was still much that had to be done.
The first of this was of course to clear out the corruption energy that still plagued the land.
Even though the shaman magic that they used was able to take down the corruption energy monsters, it wasn’t able to clear out the corruption energy. It seemed that this was only used for combat and couldn’t be used to purify the corruption energy.
That meant that it was up to the members of the racial alliance to take care of this.
One of the first places that we cleared out was the capital of the orcs.
This was where most of the mutated orcs were found, but it seemed like they had lost something with the way that most of them stood there in a daze. It was as if they had lost whatever had been controlling them through the corruption energy.
Since they just stood there, it was quite easy for us to purify the corruption energy that was inside of them.
The only thing that we had to do ahead of time was restrain them.
After all, there was a defense mechanism that activated the moment that we tried to purify them.
It seemed that the corruption energy that was controlling them didn’t want to be purified, so it fought back when we tried purifying them. That meant that the mutated orcs would try to stop the ones that were purifying them with holy magic.
With all the preparations that we made, we were able to take back the capital of the orcs in just a single day.
The orcs were a race that had a strong body, which meant that they were able to recover in just a single day.
When morning came, we had a meeting with the different chiefs of the orcs.
The orcs didn’t have a single leader that led all of the orcs, it was instead led by different chiefs of large tribes that formed a council.
The moment that we walked in, it was clear that there was some wariness that came from them.
Even though we had been the ones that had reclaimed their capital for them, the orcs were still wary since we came from the other races.
But at least they were willing to listen to what we had to say.
It was hard for the chiefs of the orcs to deny what we had to say since they had already witnessed it with their own eyes. Though there were some of them that didn’t seem happy to hear me say that they wouldn’t be able to deal with it on their own.
Still, they didn’t deny this since they knew that there was truth behind these words.
If there wasn’t truth, then they wouldn’t be in their current situation.
When it was all over, the chiefs asked for some private time to discuss this among themselves.
The cloaked orc that came with us also remained behind and flashed me a signal to show that he would take care of it.
When they came back, the orcs said, “We will cooperate with the racial alliance.”
They didn’t say that they would join the racial alliance, they just said that they would work with us.
But it wasn’t as if we didn’t expect this.
The orcs just didn’t work well with the other races or else they wouldn’t have been regarded as a brutal race in the first place.
For them to consider working together could already be considered a win.
“We’ll help you purify the rest of the corruption energy from your lands.”
The orcs had been waiting to hear this since they couldn’t purify the corruption energy like we could. Even if the capital had been reclaimed, there were still many places that were still filled with corruption energy.
That included the tribes that these orc leaders were from.
Even now, it seemed like they were worried about their own people.
That was what pressured them into accepting working with us.
“Other than this, we’ll have to discuss how to purge the traitors.”
When the others heard me say this, all of them revealed serious looks.
It was only the orcs that had confused looks since they didn’t know what I meant by this.
“If we do this, we’ll be setting a precedent. I hope that all of you are prepared for this.”
There wasn’t a single person that said anything since they all could understand how it would be to be on the other side. They were all leaders in their countries, so they knew what it meant to do this.
But in the end…
“It has to be done. They were the ones that betrayed the rest of the racial alliances, so we have to establish the precedent or else…”
Grim looks appeared on everyone’s faces when this was said, but there were determined looks in their eyes.
Since they had already come to this conclusion, there was nothing else for me to say.
I accepted their determination and replied, “Then let’s send messages to our countries and prepare for this. When the time comes, we’ll make sure to wipe out those that need to be wiped out and save those that need to be saved.”
Once again, everyone gave a nod of affirmation.
They had come to this decision, so there was nothing else that needed to be said.
The Democratic Union might be one of the four empires of the human race, but everything that was about to come was what they deserved.
They would receive the consequences of their own actions and there was no one to blame but themselves.
