Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure - Chapter 1772: Would it work here?

Chapter 1772: Would it work here?
Once I got the thing that I wanted, there was no point in staying here any longer.
Other than looking for treasures, the other thing that we had been doing was trying to find a way out of this place. But I had been making sure to lead them to the treasures so that I could get the item that I wanted.
Now that I had that item, there was no need to keep doing this.
But of course, it wasn’t as if I could just lead them out right away.
That was why after another two treasure spots, I pretended like I found the way out.
“Yes, there’s air flowing from this passage. This most likely will lead us out of here.” The Dwarven King gave a nod of affirmation after checking this passage.
The dwarves all revealed excited looks when they heard this.
Even though they had been trying to keep themselves together, it was clear that they had been looking forward to the moment that they could escape from this place.
In the end, they had fallen down here because of an accident and they had been trapped here.
No one really wanted to be trapped in a place like this.
After following this passage for a bit, we reached the end.
But the moment that we saw this ending, it was clear that this wasn’t really a passage out of here. It seemed like it was just a dead end with how the pathway suddenly ended.
The dwarves couldn’t help knitting their brows as a trace of disappointment appeared in their eyes.
However, the Dwarven King didn’t seem to give up as he started looking around the area. He pressed himself up against the wall, almost as if he was trying to figure something out.
After doing this for a bit, he suddenly said, “There’s a flow coming from this wall, but I can’t tell exactly where it’s coming from. It’s a very faint flow of air, so it’s hard to trace it to its source.”
He had a look of thought on his face as he continued looking at the wall, as if he was still trying to find a way out of this place.
I had been silently standing by his side, looking at the wall as well.
Though I certainly wasn’t thinking as much about this as he was.
That was because I already knew how to get out of here.
There was a theme in this dungeon, which was why it was easy for me to figure out how to open this exit. I had even memorized the pattern that I had to press to open up this exit.
It was just that it would have been strange if I suddenly did it.
After waiting for the Dwarven King to finish what he had been doing, I suddenly went forward and said, “Let me give it a try.”
The Dwarven King seemed surprised that I suddenly made this proposal, but he wasn’t against it as he moved out of the way.
Once he moved out of the way, I tapped a few spots on the wall a few times.
After this tapping, there was the sound of something moving that rang out.
It didn’t take long for the exit to this place to open up just like the other things that I opened up before.
The dwarves were surprised to see this, but there was also a part of them that seemed like they had already expected this.
Since the exit was open, we didn’t hesitate to leave this place since there was no telling what else would happen.
But we also didn’t go too fast.
The dwarves weren’t certain of what was ahead of us, which was why they were cautiously making their way out of this place.
After a while, we saw a light coming from in front of us.
This was a dwarf rescue team.
The place that we came out in was actually a side tunnel in the mines.
With that, this expedition came to an end.
…
“I can feel it, this is the lord’s power.” An excited voice rang out in my mind, but I didn’t say anything in response.
After all, it wasn’t as if there was anything that I could say to a simp when they were acting like this. I just ignored Oread as he started gushing over the God of Earth Terra’s temple.
This was the temple that the dwarves built to worship Terra.
The same place that I had gotten the Staff of Earth previously.
As for the reason that I was here, it was all because of the deal that I had made with Oread.
He wanted to meet Terra, so all I could do was bring him to a place where Terra might be.
I didn’t know if I would be able to enter that same place where the gods were, but at least there was a chance here.
But in the end, nothing happened after I stepped into this temple.
“Your majesty, is there a problem?” The dwarven priests that worshipped the God of Earth Terra asked me this.
I had been here for so long that it was only natural that they would be worried. After all, I had been just hanging around in their temple, seemingly doing nothing in their eyes.
It would be strange if they weren’t worried that I was up to something.
At the same time, I was the one that they had entrusted the Staff of Earth to.
They knew what kind of status I had, which meant that I caused them even more worry if I were to do something out of the ordinary.
During this time, I had been trying to establish any kind of connection with the gods.
But in the end, it didn’t seem like anything was going to happen.
“You have another idea don’t you?” Oread asked in a worried voice.
In the end, it really seemed like I had no choice but to head to the Holy Empire.
