Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure - Chapter 1793: Castle in the sky

Chapter 1793: Castle in the sky
When we came out of the last passage, I could hear everyone taking a deep breath around me.
That was because what we saw definitely wasn’t what they had been expecting to see.
In fact, it wasn’t anything that they would have thought would have existed in this world.
But it was hard to deny what was there in front of us.
Once we came out, we didn’t feel the cold or the lack of oxygen that we should have felt. Even with how high up we were, it was almost as if we were down on the ground below the mountain.
That was all because of the ball of wind that was surrounding this place.
This ball of wind seemed to keep everything that would have made this place hard to survive out. It even seemed to create a temperate environment that didn’t suit this place at all.
Other than this ball of wind, there was something else that was there that surprised them.
It was a castle that was floating there in the sky.
Even though this was already the peak of this mountain, the highest mountain on the entire continent, there was something that was even higher than that. It was this castle that seemed to be floating there in the air without anything holding it up.
It was only when one looked closely that they would be able to see that there were gusts of wind that were lifting it up.
It was really surprising that wind alone was enough to lift this entire castle up, but that just went to show how powerful this wind was.
This wind wasn’t just any normal wind, it was special wind that was generated by the Wind Spirit King Sylph. So it was only natural that it would be strong enough to lift up this large castle.
After staring at that castle for a bit, Klein suddenly asked, “How do we get up there? It’s not as if we can fly up there with the wyverns.”
Part of this was because it was dangerous to fly up in a place like this.
Even if there was a ball of wind that was fixing the environment, it wasn’t as if this was something that could be relied on.
But even before that, there was the fact that we didn’t have our wyverns with us.
After a certain point, the passages had gotten small enough that only humans were able to go past them. Once that happened, it wasn’t as if the wyverns were able to follow us anymore.
That was why we had to leave them behind.
As we left them, I could see Joan giving me the same look as before whenever she couldn’t follow me. It really seemed like she wanted to come, but there wasn’t anything that she could do in the end.
Though it was also strange that Klein was suggesting that we go up to the castle in the sky.
This was simply because we had already come so far.
Even though they had no idea how I had brought them all the way here and what reason I had brought them here for, it just seemed like it would be a waste to give up now.
At this point, it really seemed like it would be a waste to turn back when there was this thing in front of us.
I didn’t say anything as I started to look around for something specific.
I knew just how to reach the castle that was in the sky, but there was something that I had to do first before we could reach it. It was also the reason that I had made all of those stops before coming up here.
Once I found it, I took out one of the things that I had found at one of the stops.
This was a feather that I placed on the rock in front of me.
This rock seemed like it was nothing more than an ordinary rock, but I knew that this wasn’t the case.
Even though it was a feather, it didn’t get blown away after I placed it on the rock.
After placing this feather on the rock, it didn’t seem like there was a reaction. With the lack of reaction that appeared, it was as if I had found the wrong thing to place this feather on.
Klein and the others looked at me with skeptical looks when they saw this, but I didn’t panic as I just waited for something to happen.
After a while, there was finally a reaction that appeared.
However, this reaction made Klein and the others worried.
That was because this was a reaction that came from the ball of wind that surrounded this place. It seemed like the wind that made up the ball of wind was pulled in by something as it came towards them.
Or rather, it came towards the rock with the feather on it.
I raised a hand for them to calm down, but I never looked back at them as my attention was completely on the wind that was gathering.
I watched as that wind gathered in front of the rock with the feather on it.
Even though there was this powerful wind that gathered in front of it, it still didn’t seem like the feather was being blown away. It was almost as if the feather was glued to the rock with how it remained on it.
After a while, that wind seemed to condense.
That wind came together to form a pillar of wind that led into the sky.
At the very top was the castle that was floating there above us.
With how the wind pillar connected the ground under us and the castle in the sky, it really seemed like this was the passage that would lead us up there.
Klein and the others looked at me with a strange look, but I just waved my hand at them before saying, “Come on, let’s go up.”
