Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure - Chapter 1794: Truly narcissistic

Chapter 1794: Truly narcissistic
Stepping into the wind pillar lifted us off the ground and brought us up to the castle in the sky.
Even though it was a pillar of wind that was swirling around, we were simply lifted off the ground and carried up to the castle in the sky. It didn’t seem to spin us at all even though the wind itself was moving in some kind of swirl.
After carrying us up to the castle in the sky, we just landed at the entrance of the castle without any pain.
It even seemed to negate any force that came from landing like some kind of cushion made of wind.
Once we landed, I walked forward towards the gate of the castle.
Klein and the others were a step slower since they were caught off guard by the sudden move I made, but they still followed me over to the gate when they came back to their senses.
But I didn’t go to the gate itself and instead moved to the side where there was a small rock placed there.
After coming to this small rock, I took out a smaller stone that I placed atop this rock.
After putting it down, it seemed like both of them started to glow as if there was something that was activated.
This glow became stronger and stronger until it became a gust of wind that suddenly blew open the gates in front of us.
After the gate was opened, I didn’t hesitate to walk in without even taking the stone back.
There was no need for that and it wouldn’t have helped to take this stone back. After all, it was the resonance between the stone and the rock that created the wind that was holding the door open.
After entering, there was a bitter smile that appeared on my face.
Though I had already expected it, it was something else seeing this scene.
The most important thing was the difference between this place in real life and this place in the game. It seemed that the decor in this place was much more detailed than it was in the game.
However, that certainly wasn’t a good thing.
Looking at the different pictures that were here really was off putting.
It wasn’t as if there was anything strange about these pictures, it was just that all of these pictures were of the same person.
This person was also the one that the statue from before was supposed to depict.
This place was filled with pictures and decorations that were made in the image of the Wind Spirit King Sylph.
Though it was even more strange since it was a picture of a beautiful woman.
Sylph was a beautiful woman, one that fit the image that one would think when one thought of a ruler of wind. A gentle looking woman that seemed like she was the mother of the entire world.
But still, there was a limit before it was considered too much.
The game had portrayed the Wind Spirit King Sylph was a narcissistic spirit, but this was even more than what the game had shown.
There was only so much that a game could capture compared to something in real life.
“Would a narcissistic spirit like this be easier or harder to deal with?” I couldn’t help asking myself after seeing this.
But regardless, I knew that I was prepared since I had already prepared all those different things. There were still a few more things that I had to get from inside of this castle, but it should be easy.
After all, there wasn’t much that I didn’t know about this place.
The only problem now was…
“I need you all to stay here and not touch anything.”
Klein and the other royal guards immediately frowned the moment that they heard this.
It was clear that this wasn’t something that they could accept as their duty was to protect me in the first place. However, it wasn’t as if they would actually be able to do anything to protect me in this unknown place.
They were just too out of their element to do anything other than using their bodies to shield me in a last case scenario. But even then, it might not even mean that they would be helpful.
As such, they knew that I had a reason for proposing something like this.
But it wasn’t as if they could just accept this without a single explanation.
That was the look that Klein gave me in the end.
With a sigh, I said, “I’ll be honest, I already knew about this place before coming here.”
None of them were surprised to hear this since my actions had made it clear that I knew exactly what I was doing. Even if I read the things that were listed around this place, it wasn’t as if that alone would have given me enough information to do all of this.
The only explanation was that I knew about this place and what it contained ahead of time.
I just continued by saying, “I’ve read a book about this place, which is why I know all of this. That means that I also know how to reach the peak of this castle and deal with the one that owns this place.”
“But do you have to?” Klein asked the most important questions when my voice fell.
I looked at them with a serious look before saying with a firm nod, “It has to be done since that person has power that we need to deal with the forces of Destruction.”
Once again, none of them seemed surprised to hear this.
They had even expected this since they knew that the threat of the forces of Destruction were looming over us. As such, they knew that the reason that I had brought all of us here was to deal with them.
After a long silence, Klein said, “Please be careful. If something happens to your majesty, I really wouldn’t know how to explain it.”
