Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure - Chapter 1795: Very annoying

Chapter 1795: Very annoying
There was a tired look on my face when I finished gathering all of the things that I needed from this castle.
It wasn’t that it was hard to gather these things, it was more that it was annoying to do so.
It was one thing to do it in the game, but to do it in real life…it certainly wasn’t a pleasant experience.
After all, some of the things that had to be done really were things that one shouldn’t do unless they were forced to.
Still, I had done it all and brought everything that was needed to this place.
I was currently standing in front of the door at the top of this castle. It was clearly the place where the Wind Spirit King Sylph was waiting.
But there was a part of me that was hesitating to open this door. That was because I knew what I had to do once I opened this door and what was waiting for me.
Still, it wasn’t as if I could keep hesitating forever…
So in the end, I pushed open the door and walked in.
The first thing that I heard was, “Who is the most beautiful spirit in this world?”
“Of course it’s you!”
“Oh, ho, ho, ho, you’re right! Who else could it be?”
“Are you some kind of evil queen?” I couldn’t help thinking to myself the moment that I heard this.
Even though I had already been expecting this since I had read her lines in the game, I still couldn’t help being caught off guard when I heard it in real life.
Each of the Spirit Kings had their own personality and the Wind Spirit King Sylph certainly was one of the more eccentric ones…Though Oread would give her a run for her money thinking about it.
Compared to the two of them, Ifrit and Undine were considered normal.
I was quite lucky that I met the two of them first…
After they finished talking to each other, it seemed like they finally took notice of me.
Sitting on the throne in this room was a familiar face, though it would be hard to not recognize this face. Especially since it was found all over the place in this castle in the form of paintings and statues.
The other thing that was in this room was a crystal beside the throne.
The mana coming from it showed that it was a special magic crystal, but it didn’t seem like it had any special functions.
After they took note of me, the first thing that the Wind Spirit King Sylph did was release her pressure to suppress me before saying, “It seems like we have an intruder.”
But after a pause, she pulled back her pressure and said, “Though it could just as well be a guest. We have no idea what they are here for, so there’s no need to do anything just yet.”
“Especially since they could be an admirer of mine.”
This last part that she added annoyed me when I heard it, but I kept my emotions under wraps as I revealed an emotionless look on my face.
If I had to admit one thing, it was that she was quite the beautiful woman.
The statues and paintings did their best, but they really didn’t do her justice. They just couldn’t capture the full beauty that the Wind Spirit King Sylph released.
Still, it wasn’t as if I had never seen beautiful women before.
In fact, even if she was beautiful, I didn’t think that she could actually match my wives…
Giving a cough, I said, “Sylph, oh great Wind Spirit King, I am here to present my offerings.”
“Offerings?” Sylph seemed a bit surprised when she heard this, but then she looked at the things that I took out with a look of understanding slowly appearing on her face.
“So it turns out that you were part of my followers. I had thought that it was strange that they hadn’t come in some time, but it seems like there are still those that follow me.”
Then narrowing her eyes, she looked at my back and said, “But where are your wings?”
I couldn’t really explain this, but I also knew that there was no need for me to explain it.
“Well, it doesn’t matter. Bring the offering over.”
Sylph didn’t really care about the people that followed her, she didn’t even care that they had died after all this time. After all, she had never even mentioned once that they had been wiped out in this conversation.
That just went to show that she really didn’t know they were all dead.
Wind Spirit King Sylph was someone that only cared about herself and no one else, so she really didn’t care even if those that followed her died. For an immortal being like her, it was just a blink of an eye.
The most annoying part of this was to slowly build up Sylph’s affection by presenting rare gifts. The things that were left in the castle were things that the winged people had planned on presenting to her, but never had the chance to do so.
It was the same for the things that I collected on the path up.
All of these things had to be offered to her in a specific order to slowly build up her affection until she was willing to form a contract.
Though thinking about it, that was just when it came to the game…
Perhaps it wouldn’t be the same in real life, but for now, it was better to follow it and see what happened.
Though the real annoying thing was that…
“Oh great majesty Sylph, your beauty truly knows no bounds.”
I had to keep praising her while offering her these things.
After all, she was someone that thought very highly of herself and she was happy to hear praise from anyone even if they seemed excessively.
In her eyes, she thought that any praise that she received was real, even if it seemed extreme.
That was just how narcissistic she was.
