Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure - Chapter 1796: You cheater! (1)

Chapter 1796: You cheater! (1)
“Good, very good! It seems like you’re quite the loyal follower of mine.” Wind Spirit King Sylph said in a satisfied voice.
However, what I had wanted to hear hadn’t been said yet.
As such, I had no choice but to make a move.
“Your majesty Sylph, isn’t it a waste for you to remain in this place?”
Sylph slowly turned to look at me after I said this before narrowing her eyes to ask, “What do you mean by that? This is my castle, how is it a waste for me to be in this place?”
“Yes, this is your castle, but you’re all alone in this place. Without showing yourself to the people, how can you gain even more followers?”
“Why would I need more followers? All I need is myself.” Sylph said with a snort.
“Without followers, who will be there to worship you? It would be a waste for you not to share your beauty with the world.”
This time, it seemed like Sylph was a bit moved.
After all, I said it in a way that actually piqued her interest and satisfied her ego.
As such, it was hard for her to say no.
Seeing that she was a bit moved by this, I added, “Your majesty Sylph, I regret to inform you that your other followers have all died and I’m the only one who is left. As such, there is no one left in this world other than me to worship you.”
A look of surprise appeared on her face when she heard this before she said, “They’re dead?”
I just gave a simple nod to confirm this.
After a moment of silence, Sylph just brought a hand to her cheek and said with a sigh, “No wonder there’s been no offerings in a while. Well, it’s not as if it matters to me if they are alive or not.”
As expected, she really didn’t care about those followers of hers with how she just skipped over the fact that they were all dead.
It seemed that in her mind, the only thing that followers were good for was to offer gifts to her and worship her. If they were gone, there would always be others that would replace them.
After all, it wasn’t as if she would lose her beauty.
I gave her a moment before saying, “Your majesty Sylph, if you’re willing, I have a method of bringing you out of here. I promise to bring you to find new followers and create a world just for you!”
Sylph narrowed her eyes as if she was thinking about this.
The other reason that she didn’t leave was because she couldn’t actually leave this place.
It should be said that the system bound her to this place since it wasn’t as if the game system wanted the boss to leave this place before the dungeon was cleared. But in this world that was based on the game, it should be whoever created this place that bound Sylph here.
As such, she couldn’t leave even if she wanted to.
Though the way that she acted was as if she chose to remain here rather than being stuck here.
“Fine, I’ll grant you this opportunity.”
I was a bit surprised to hear her say this, but it wasn’t hard for me to guess why she acted this way. After all, even if she acted like she didn’t care, it should be hard for her to be alone in this place for so long.
It didn’t even seem like there were other wind spirits that were gathered here.
With her personality, it was easy to imagine why they all avoided her.
As such, this deal should be considered a good deal for Sylph.
After receiving her agreement, I started talking out different things that I needed and started drawing an array on the ground.
Seeing this, Sylph narrowed her eyes to look at this before saying, “What are you doing? All you have to do is form a contract with me.”
Lowering my head, I said, “My apologies, your majesty Sylph. Unfortunately, I’m not that talented when it comes to spirit arts and as such, I need to use this array to form the contract.”
But then I changed the tone of my voice as I said, “Of course, this is all out of care for your majesty Sylph. I want to use this array to make things as smooth as possible for your majesty when forming this contract.”
Sylph didn’t say anything as she narrowed her eyes even more to look at the array.
Though she was a narcissistic Spirit King, she was still a Spirit King that had lived for a long time and had accrued a lot of knowledge. That was why it was easy for her to see through this array.
After a while, her expression relaxed as she could see that it was indeed as I had said.
This array really was meant to make things easier for her in forming this contract.
As such, she just simply waved her hand and said, “Hurry up, don’t keep me waiting for too long.”
I quickly nodded in agreement before moving even faster.
After all, I didn’t want her seeing through my trick either, so going as fast as possible was the best choice.
When I finished forming the array, I said, “Your majesty Sylph, please.”
Sylph didn’t need me to tell her what to do since she already knew what to do, that was one of the advantages that Spirit Kings had over normal spirits.
Once she was in the array, I activated it without a single second of delay and it lit up around her.
Sylph didn’t seem to mind this until all of a sudden, it seemed like she had sensed something that made her knit his brows.
She turned to look at me before saying, “You! You! You cheater!”
Seeing the expression she had and hearing the way that she said this brought a bitter smile to my face.
Though technically, she wasn’t wrong.
