Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure - Chapter 1798: Feeling like a robber

Chapter 1798: Feeling like a robber
Since the Wind Spirit King had been removed from this castle, it meant that the source of the wind had also been removed.
It was just like the other dungeons that Lin Fan had found the Spirit Kings in, but this one was a bit different.
For Ifrit’s dungeon, the loss of Ifrit meant that the natural fire energy that filled that place was gone and that the heat would slowly disappear from that place.
Though since that place was being turned into a resource gathering point by the racial alliance, it wasn’t as if this was a bad thing. The natural fire energy that was there wouldn’t disappear all at once, so they would be able to get quite a few things from there.
It was similar in the case of Undine’s dungeon since the natural water energy would disappear, but it was the Kite Kingdom that would monopolize that since I was the one that found it and it was firmly within our kingdom’s borders.
As for Oread’s dungeon, that was in the borders of the Dwarf Kingdom, so they would be the ones to monopolize that.
But it also didn’t matter if the natural earth energy disappeared from that place since that place had a different way of gathering that natural earth energy.
It turned the natural earth energy into ores and they wouldn’t degrade like other things, so there was no problem with Oread’s dungeon either.
However, it was different in this place that was being protected by Sylph’s wind.
This castle was atop the highest peak of the continent and had the wind’s protection, which was why it didn’t feel like it was at the highest peak. Otherwise, the living conditions would be much harsher than this.
Now that I had formed a contract with Sylph, it meant that this place would no longer have the same protection.
At the same time, it meant that this place would soon become uninhabitable by normal people.
While we would be fine for a bit since we were stronger than normal people, it wasn’t as if we could remain in this place forever.
So that was why we had to move as quickly as possible.
This was a dungeon that was formed with the power of Sylph, one of the Spirit Kings.
That meant that there were resources that could be gathered from this place just like with the other dungeons. Which also meant that we had to get as much as we could before leaving this place.
It wasn’t something that I could do alone, which was why…
“Your majesty, you’re back!”
I just ignored Klein and the other royal guards as I quickly turned back around before waving my hand at them to say, “Come and follow me! We need to take care of this as soon as possible!”
Klein and other royal guards were shocked to hear this, but their training allowed them to still follow me even though they were in a daze.
With Klein and the other royal guards following me, I didn’t hesitate as I started pointing things out.
Since I had already raided this dungeon in the game, it was only natural that I knew where all of the best things that were in this castle were. As such, I pointed out all of the things that had to be taken.
Klein and the other royal guards were confused, but they didn’t say anything as they picked up all of the things that I pointed out to them.
While this was happening, I could feel that someone was feeling more and more dissatisfied until she finally said, “What are you doing, you robber!”
I didn’t say anything in response, though in a way it wasn’t as if she was wrong.
With the way that we were moving through this castle, it really was like we were robbers that were looking for the most expensive things to take with us. But then again, it would have gone to waste if we didn’t take them.
After all, these things were considered fragile as well since they were special items.
If they had been left here in the conditions that the castle would have been soon plunged into, it wasn’t as if they would have remained in this place for much longer. If they were buffeted by the harsh conditions of the castle, then they would have just been destroyed eventually.
As such, it was better for us to take them with us instead of letting them be destroyed.
As for how I placated Sylph…
“Your majesty Sylph, we are doing this for you. Naturally we are bringing along your best items before this place becomes uninhabitable. If we leave these things behind, wouldn’t it be too much of a shame for you?”
There was no response that came from Sylph after I said this, but I still continued guiding Klein and the others to keep picking things up.
After a while, Sylph finally said, “Then you’re saying that you’re bringing these things along for me? You won’t keep them after we leave this place?”
“Your majesty Sylph, we will only lend them to your followers in the future as tokens of yourself so they can worship them in the future.”
Even if it wasn’t sincere, I had to admit that I had a glib tongue.
This was just the kind of skill that came from practice with my wives, so I knew how to convince people now.
After another silence, Sylph said, “Alright, as long as you promise to use it for my followers.”
It seemed like she felt that there was something wrong about what I said, but she couldn’t tell exactly what was wrong.
It seemed like this was something good on the surface, but it also felt like there was something wrong with this which made Sylph a bit unsure of this decision.
Still, it wasn’t as if I was giving her a choice on the matter.
As for giving them to followers of hers…well, anyone could become a follower, couldn’t they?
It was just about whether they had sincerity or not.
