Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure - Chapter 1802: Legendary creature

Chapter 1802: Legendary creature
“Stop!”
As soon as this voice rang out, all of the winged people suddenly came to a stop.
I couldn’t help letting out a sigh of relief when I saw this before lowering the hand that I had been gathering wind in.
It was the least fatal option after all and I didn’t want to hurt any of the winged people.
They were justified in their anger after all.
However, I couldn’t help knitting my brows after releasing the mana that I had gathered since I felt something strange coming from deep inside of me. It was the divine energy that seemed like it was being pulled by something.
This something was in the direction that the voice had rang out in.
When I looked over, I found that there was a shining figure that was standing there.
It was hard to see what this figure was because of the light that surrounded it, but I could make out that it was standing on four legs.
At the same time, I could tell that this light that was around it was divine energy.
It was similar to how the gods were surrounded by divine energy all the time and their true appearance couldn’t be seen. But in this case, the divine energy that was around this four legged figure wasn’t that strong.
It was just a bit dazzling since I was seeing it for the first time, but eventually it seemed to fade.
What appeared after that was a large wolf with pure white fur.
“Fenrir.” I muttered under my breath when I saw this.
It was impossible for me to mistake this since it was a very recognizable creature.
The Fenrir was considered one of the rarest legendary beasts in this world when this world was still a game. It was something that couldn’t be encountered unless one had immense luck.
It was a creature that was on the same level as dragons and phoenixes after all.
Once I figured out that this thing was a Fenrir, I didn’t think that it was that strange that this Fenrir had divine energy. After all, the setting of this game world had Fenrirs as messengers of the gods.
Since a Fenrir was a messenger of the gods, then it was only natural that it would have divine energy to be able to contact them.
No, it made more sense that they would have divine energy so that they could make contact with the gods as their messenger.
“All of you, move away.” The Fenrir said as it came forward.
When the winged people heard this, they didn’t hesitate to follow the orders of the Fenrir.
Though the looks on their faces made it clear that they weren’t happy about following this order.
It wasn’t that they weren’t willing to do it since it was the Fenrir that gave this order.
It was just that they clearly had a past that they wanted to clear up with Sylph.
Only with the prestige that the Fenrir had, they had no choice but to listen.
Seeing this Fenrir now filled in the gaps that I had been missing and I understood that it was the one that had created the barrier that had hidden this place. After all, that was a barrier that had been created with divine energy and the Fenrir was the only one that had divine energy in this place.
It seemed that the gods had taken pity on the winged people and had sent this Fenrir to save them.
Only why did the gods keep the winged people here the entire time?
Thinking about it, I also had a guess as to why this was the case and it was related to the one that was causing this mess.
Why didn’t the gods bring the winged people further away from here if they were to save them?
It didn’t make sense to keep them in a place that was right near the one that they hated…
While I was thinking about this, the Fenrir seemed to ignore Sylph and came forward to me. Seeing this, I was pulled out of my thoughts, but I also didn’t let my guard down as I waited to see what it wanted to do.
Before I could react, the Fenrir suddenly lowered its head to bow to me.
I was certainly caught off guard by this since this was the last thing that I expected the Fenrir to do, but here it was bowing to me.
The winged people naturally weren’t happy to see this as they immediately started to show hostility towards me.
“Your grace, please be careful!”
“He came with the false goddess, it’s clear that he’s related to her!”
“Please don’t let yourself be fooled by him!”
Before I could even say anything in response to this, the Fenrir suddenly looked up at the winged people that spoke and suppressed them with its pressure. Even though they had only been trying to warn him, even though they were on the same side…
The Fenrir didn’t hesitate as it released its powerful aura to suppress the one that spoke.
Even though they looked aggrieved, they didn’t seem like they were angry with the Fenrir.
Instead, the winged people’s anger came to me which made a bitter smile appear on my face.
It wasn’t as if I was the one doing anything.
in a low voice, “Watch your tone. It is not your place to talk to this person like this. Do you even know who he is?”
The winged people looked shocked when they heard this as they couldn’t believe that the Fenrir was acting like this. But the Fenrir didn’t seem to care at all about how they felt as it simply introduced me.
“This is the one that bears the Mark of God, the representative that the gods have chosen in this world. For a messenger of the gods like myself to be rude to such a person would be betraying everything that I’ve dedicated myself to!”
