Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure - Chapter 1813: A fierce scolding

Chapter 1813: A fierce scolding
“I need to talk to you in private.”
This was the private message that the Fenrir sent to me in our private connection.
Since we had a contract with each other, it meant that the Fenrir was able to directly speak into my mind when she wanted to.
That was what she did after she had demonstrated her power.
I was a bit surprised and a bit curious why the Fenrir was calling me out like this, but I waited to see since she wanted to talk in private.
The hardest part in leaving the others behind was that the sages didn’t want to leave the Fenrir for even a second. Just like how the Holy Empire were fanatics when it came to anything related to gods, the Sorcery Empire sages were fanatics that were obsessed with magic related things.
The Fenrir as a legendary beast had many stories about it that were related to magic.
As such, the sages really wanted to spend some quality time with the Fenrir.
However, what they didn’t know was that their gazes actually made the Fenrir uncomfortable.
It was just like how the gazes of those from the Holy Empire made me uncomfortable.
It would be strange to enjoy being looked at like this by people, so it wasn’t as if the Fenrir enjoyed the way that the sages looked at her. Especially since it was a female Fenrir rather than a male Fenrir.
It was almost like having a bunch of men staring at a beautiful woman.
Of course, it would have crushed the feelings of the sages from the Sorcery Empire if I were to tell them this.
So the only thing that I told them was that the Fenrir was tired and needed to rest.
Since we were contracted, it meant that the Fenrir would be staying with me.
Though the place that I was staying in…
It was clear that this place had belonged to the leader of the Feather Race and they were giving it up because the Fenrir asked for it.
It really was awkward for me to take this room, but since the Fenrir had something to talk to me about…
I had no choice but to take this room in the end.
When we were alone, it wasn’t the Fenrir that actually wanted to have a talk with me.
Instead, it was the one that was behind the Fenrir that wanted to talk to me.
I didn’t think that I would be having another conversation with the God of Winds Zephyrus that soon, but it turned out that it wasn’t me that he was looking for either.
Rather, it was through me that he was looking for someone else.
Someone that had a contract with me.
“Get out here this instant.” The God of Winds Zephyrus said in a cold voice.
But the one that they were calling for didn’t show herself.
In the end, I was wrapped up by the wind before Sylph was forced to form. The winds didn’t actually hurt me, but it did seem to put pressure on Sylph that she was forced to show herself.
Though when she was in front of the Fenrir, it didn’t seem like there was any fear in her.
She acted the same way as before as she said, “What do you think you’re doing?”
Even though it was clear that it wasn’t just the Fenrir, but rather it was the God of Winds Zephyrus that was in charge here.
The God of Winds naturally didn’t take this attitude from Sylph as it said, “Sit.”
When the God of Winds spoke in this voice, it was as if Sylph really had no choice.
Even though Sylph looked like there was something else that she wanted to say, she wasn’t able to say it in the end in face of this cold voice from the God of Winds.
“You idiot. I sent the Feather Race to you for safekeeping and this is how you repay me? In the end, I had to send my Fenrir and had her guard them for over a thousand years just because of your mess.”
Sylph didn’t look down and looked right at the Fenrir when she was being scolded, but at least she didn’t say anything. It seemed that she was listening to the scolding, but it really wasn’t sinking in.
In the end, the God of Winds suddenly said, “Since this is the case, I’ll be reducing your authority.”
“Wait, you can’t do that!” Sylph suddenly reacted.
“Of course I can. You should know what kind of god I am, so naturally I can do that.” The God of Winds said in a cold voice.
Sylph started to show a trace of fear when she heard this.
I had been listening in on them the entire time, but I couldn’t understand what they meant by this.
The God of Winds cutting the authority of the Wind Spirit King, it seemed like this was something that could be done. It was just that I had never heard of something like this when this world was still a game.
It seemed like a completely new concept that I had never heard before.
But it did seem like an effective threat against Sylph.
“That is what I had been planning to do, but it seems like you’ve made the correct decision for once.” The God of Winds Zephyrus suddenly said this which went against what they had said before.
Sylph looked confused when she heard this, but there was also a trace of relief in her eyes.
After all, it seemed like she wasn’t going to be punished in the end…
The God of Winds seemed annoyed seeing this, so they said, “You’ll follow this person until the end and fight against the forces of Destruction with them. If you don’t take this seriously, I’ll replace you.”
Sylph didn’t seem happy when she heard this, but it did seem like the God of Winds Zephyrus’ point had gotten through to her.
Though I was still confused about all of this.
