Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure - Chapter 1816 1816: Scan the land

The Feather Race had gathered early in the morning.
After what happened yesterday, it seemed like they were full of energy when I saw them.
I knew that they had been waiting for me because there was something that they needed from me. Or it could even be said that if I didn’t help them, they wouldn’t be able to do what they wanted to do.
It was that they were about to fly across the entire continent.
With the mobility and maneuverability of the Feather Race, they would be able to easily make their way across the entire continent.
Of course, they wouldn’t be able to do that if they didn’t have the approval of the different countries that took up the land of the continent. If they were to fly over the territory of those countries, then they would be regarded as spies.
But with everyone gathered here, that wasn’t going to happen.
This was because this was something that we had all agreed to.
As such, the Feather Race would be able to fly across the entire continent and map out everything.
There was naturally only one reason that the countries of the racial alliance agreed to something like this. It was all because of the threat that the forces of Destruction posed towards the racial alliance.
Since we hadn’t been able to find the forces of Destruction with regular means, it meant that we had to go to an extreme to find them.
That was why we were using the Feather Race to search every part of the continent like this.
It was only through this that we would be able to find some traces of the forces of Destruction.
It was clear that the racial alliance took the betrayal of the Democratic Union seriously. After all, it was quite the important matter since the Democratic Union was supposed to be one of the pillars of the human race.
Though everyone knew the real reason that the Democratic Union betrayed the racial alliance, this precedent meant that it was possible for the forces of Destruction to wear down any of them.
Before this, we weren’t able to find the forces of Destruction since there were many places for them to hide.
This magic world wasn’t as explored as the modern world that I came from.
It was mainly because it was hard to travel in this world, even with magic.
But it was different with the Feather Race.
They didn’t have the same limitations as others since they could fly in the air.
As such, they were able to explore places that other races couldn’t.
But it wasn’t efficient to let them explore those places all on their own, which was where I stepped in. Since I had made a contract with Sylph, I was able to control the wind spirits that were under her.
These wind spirits had a special ability that would help us very much in this matter.
It was the ability to communicate with each other on the wind.
That meant that as long as the wind spirits followed the Feather Race, they would be able to communicate back what the Feather Race found right away.
This was without a doubt a very useful thing, but there was a requirement to use this ability.
It was to have someone act as the core for the wind spirits.
That meant that I had to act as the conduit that all of the wind spirits reported back to.
So that meant that I had to remain here as the one that received all the reports from the Feather Race.
At the same time, I had to help the Feather Race make contracts with these wind spirits to have the wind spirits follow them.
That was why all of them were waiting for me.
Even if they didn’t trust Sylph, it wasn’t as if they had a grudge against all wind spirits.
The Feather Race had naturally heard of their ancestors forming contracts with wind spirits when they were still under Sylph and it was something that they had wanted for themselves.
After all, it wasn’t as if just anyone would be able to form a contract with a wind spirit.
As long as I was here, it wouldn’t be a problem for them to form that contract with the wind spirits. After all, I had the power of Sylph on my side and the wind spirits would obey me if I wanted them to do something.
That was why I was able to have the wind spirits form contracts with most of the Feather Race.
Once they had finished forming these contracts, they all excitedly talked to their spirits even though the spirits weren’t really able to talk back to them.
The wind spirits that they had contracted were nothing more than low grade wind spirits to begin with. They were spirits that were like children rather than adults since they were newly formed low grade spirits.
But even then, the Feather Race didn’t seem to mind this.
After they finished talking to their wind spirits, the Feather Race revealed determined looks on their faces as they reported to me.
This wasn’t just because I had helped them contract with wind spirits, it was also because of what the Fenrir had done.
The Fenrir had made sure the Feather Race respected me before I came out this morning.
When I first saw them, I had already seen the way that they looked at me which showed me that the Fenrir had done something.
Still, I didn’t say anything since it wasn’t as if this was a bad thing.
If the Feather Race were willing to listen, then that was a good thing.
That was why I just went along with this.
The Feather Race had already received their assignments, so they didn’t waste any time in heading out to take care of them.
All that was left to do was wait for them to report back with the wind spirits.
