I couldn’t help deeply knitting my brows when I heard this.

The miracle healer narrowed his eyes to look at Dorothy before slowly shaking his head to say, “I’m not certain, I still need to run more tests to be certain of this.”
I narrowed my eyes once more as I wanted to punch him for saying misleading things like this, but I knew that there had to be a reason that he said something like this.
Even if his personality was bad, I knew the abilities that he possessed.
So even if his personality was bad, I had faith in those abilities.

“It’s fine. I want to know more about this as well.”
It seemed like Dorothy was no longer afraid of the way that the miracle healer was looking at her. Though it didn’t seem like she was doing this because she wanted to know more about herself.
What it seemed like she was doing was that she was trying to prove that he was wrong.
She wanted to challenge what he thought she was.
I patted her on the head and then nodded at the miracle healer without saying a word.
Seeing this, the miracle healer didn’t say anything either as he turned around and started gathering things.
It was a good thing that he was interested in Dorothy’s condition or else it would be hard to get him to do anything related to this.
Once he got started, it didn’t seem like he was going to stop with how he took out all these different tools and started going over Dorothy with them.

When he was done, it didn’t seem like he was going to say anything to us as he turned around to write something down. With how he was writing, it seemed like he had obtained quite a lot from observing Dorothy like this.

The miracle healer didn’t seem to react at first when I said this, but then he turned to look at me when I stepped forward into his personal space. When I invaded his personal space like this, he had no choice but to stop writing and look at me.
I knew that this was one of the few ways to get his attention when he was like this.
After all, the one thing that he couldn’t stand was someone getting too close to him like this.
It was strange that someone who healed people would have this kind of weakness, but this was the weakness that he possessed.

I looked at the strange things that he had used on Dorothy and I couldn’t help revealing a skeptical look since they really didn’t look like anything special.
But in the end, I convinced myself with the knowledge that I had from the game.
The him from the game was something special, so the current him should be something special as well. Even if these looked like nothing more than toys, it was very likely that they were special equipment.
However, if what he said was true…
Then that meant that there was something different about Dorothy.
I had already guessed that this was the case, but I never thought that it would be true. It was only a small part of me that had suspected it, but I really didn’t want to prove it like this.
One of the things that the prisoners of the forces of Destruction told us about was that they had been experimented on. They didn’t know what those experiments were for, but they had seen people being dragged off to be experimented on.
There were also those that were experimented on directly by the forces of Destruction.
As such, they knew that there had been all kinds of experiments that had been run in those pockets in space.
The other thing about Dorothy was that she had been born in the place that she had been held in and her parents had not long after she was born. At the very least, the ones that had been locked up with her didn’t have any memories of her parents.
So that meant that the circumstances of her birth had always been hazy.
I had my doubts when I heard this and saw the powers that she had demonstrated, but I never thought that it would be true…
What if she was a child that was born from their experimentations.
What if she was a child that was born from corruption energy being inserted into a fetus or even a corruption energy source being used to fertilize a woman that was captured.
If that was the case, that meant that Dorothy was a child that had been created with the power of the corruption energy…or rather the destruction energy.
She would be something that was a direct offspring of the God of Destruction.
It meant that she would be something that was even greater than the Apostles of Destruction…
