Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure - Chapter 1976: Let’s chase them out

Chapter 1976: Let’s chase them out
When they had calmed down, that was when I asked, “Is there anything else that you want to tell me?”
Both Queenie and Insectum seemed surprised as neither of them said anything in response to this.
I had already guessed that this was the case, but it didn’t hurt to ask it one more time before leaving this place.
“Then since there’s nothing to discuss, let’s talk about what we have to do now.”
Queenie and Insectum once again seemed surprised as they had no idea what I was talking about.
It was the same for Klein and the royal guards who were all confused by what I said.
Seeing this, I said, “We have to figure out how to take this Death Valley with us, don’t we?”
Queenie was the first to react to this as she said, “Is there anything that you need to worry about? You have full control of this place with that relic, so it’s as simple as thinking about it to take this place away. You can put it away into the bracelet with just a single thought.”
I ignored the shocked looks that Klein and the royal guards looked at me with as I said while shaking my head, “No, we can’t do that. There’s too many people wandering around in this place. If we were to make this entire Death Valley disappear and take them with us, then it’ll cause too big of a commotion. At the same time, do you know what their families will do if they go missing like this?”
Queenie didn’t really seem like she cared about this.
In addition to being lazy, it seemed like she was quite selfish as well.
Though that was to be expected since she had been treated as a queen the entire time and never had to suffer at all. She just expected things to come to her and things to go her way…
“I’m sorry for her.” Insectum suddenly slapped Queenie on the head and apologized.
However, it did seem a bit strange watching a small spider slap a large bug like Queenie.
In the end, none of the elite guards reacted to this.
They just seemed like they were used to seeing this from the two of them.
They were elite guards that had been born from Queenie, but that didn’t mean that they didn’t recognize Insectum as the God of Insects. When it came to who they would respect, it seemed like they respected Insectum more.
After the two of them were done arguing again, Insectum asked as if he was certain that I already had a plan, “Holy Son, what plan do you have?”
I just calmly said, “Let’s chase them out.”
Once again, no one said anything as they didn’t know what I was talking about.
I didn’t mind this as I asked Queenie, “How many bugs do you have control over?” Then after a pause, I felt like I should clarify, “How many bugs can you control at the same time?”
Queenie just said with a shrug, “I can control all of them. I was the one that gave birth to them, so they have a natural connection to me. As long as I want, it’s easy for me to control all of them at once.”
But then she asked as if she was afraid of doing work, “Why are you asking this?”
“Well, I think you should already know.” I said without actually explaining.
The expression on Queenie’s face slowly changed after she heard this.
The strongest emotion was the fact that she was unwilling to actually do something like this.
She was more than capable of doing this, it was just that she didn’t want to do any work at all.
“She’ll do it.” Insectum said on Queenie’s behalf without even asking her anything.
Queenie once again scowled at Insectum, but they just completely ignored her as they waited for me to explain the plan.
I also ignored Queenie as I said, “Then it’s very simple. All you have to do is this…”
When I was done explaining the plan, Klein couldn’t help asking, “Your majesty, are you sure that this will work? It feels like it won’t be enough to chase them away with just that alone. You should know what those mercenaries are like…”
“Trust me when I say that it’ll be even more terrifying than you think. You just don’t know how many bugs are actually hidden in this place.”
A strange look appeared on Klein’s face when he heard this, though it still seemed like there was a trace of doubt in his eyes.
I didn’t bother explaining beyond this since I knew that there was no way for me to explain it more. The only thing that would convince him was if he saw everything that I saw through the bracelet.
Since I had control over this place through the bracelet, it was only natural that I would know exactly what was in this Death Valley.
I had been surprised at first by how many bugs there were, but I soon realized that I didn’t actually see the truth at all. I had only seen the surface and I hadn’t seen beneath the surface.
This was the literal case since there was something special about this place.
I had seen all the bugs that were above the ground, but I didn’t see the bugs that were under the ground.
That was because there were a series of tunnels that spread all over Death Valley.
With the way that they were laid out, it really seemed like the entirety of Death Valley was some kind of ant farm. This was the kind of thing that couldn’t be seen unless one had a sideways view of the ground.
I knew that there were far more than enough to scare out the mercenaries.
“Since you know what you’ll be doing, start getting everything ready. When night comes, we’ll send them all out at the humans that are still here.”
