Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure - Chapter 2004: Random encounter

Chapter 2004: Random encounter
“Is everything cleaned up?”
Klein just gave a simple nod in response to this question.
When I looked at the scene where the fight had been, it was as if there wasn’t a single trace of the fight that had happened that was left behind.
Whether it was in terms of fighting or cleaning up, it seemed like they were elites.
These were the royal guards that had been tasked with protecting the royal family, so it was only normal that they would be able to do things like this. It was just that seeing it firsthand really was a different feeling.
After making sure that everything was cleaned up, I said, “Let’s keep going.”
Though the sun had already set, it was best if we didn’t remain in this place.
Even though everything had been cleaned up, it was better not to leave things to chance.
So that was why it was best to leave this place as soon as possible.
Klein and the other royal guards knew this as well, so they had already prepared a separate route for us.
There was no disturbance at all as we traveled along this path since Klein and the royal guards had made sure to secure it ahead of time.
Though they normally didn’t get to show off what they were capable of, this did remind me of what they were capable of. As long as they didn’t face the forces of Destruction that they weren’t suited to fight against, it was easy for them to take care of matters.
They were elite royal guards after all.
In no time at all, we arrived at a camp that had already been prepared.
They had even sent a group ahead of us to take care of this before we arrived.
When it didn’t involve things that I wanted to do, Klein really was quite the capable person. It could even be said that the randomness of the things I did really was his weakness.
Since everything had been prepared, there was nothing else that needed to be said.
The less that we discussed this matter, the better.
After all, we had already come to the decision to completely sweep this under the rug.
Which was why the less that we talked about it, the better.
…
“Is there a need to rush back?” I asked Klein back when he asked me why we weren’t just flying back on our wyverns.
It seemed like he had something he wanted to say, but I knew that there was nothing to gain from rushing. After all, there wasn’t a single thing that was left for us to do since we hadn’t found any traces of the forces of Destruction.
At the same time, I still hadn’t figured out anything that would be able to help Dorothy.
The whole thing was to come out here and find the different god’s messengers just to see if there was something that could help with Dorothy’s conditions. But no matter how many god’s messengers I asked, there weren’t any that could give me the answer that I was looking for.
So in the end, there really wasn’t anything that could be done for Dorothy and it made me feel guilty. There was a feeling that I had done something wrong to her with how I wasn’t able to find anything.
That was why there was a part of me that was hoping that I would be able to find something.
Klein and the other royal guards on the other hand wanted to go back to the Kite Kingdom as soon as possible since it wasn’t as if this was a safe place.
There was no telling what the Solar Kingdom would try next.
Though before we could continue this conversation, there was a sound that came from in front of us.
When we turned to look at it, we found that there was something that came out of the bushes on the sides of the road.
However, we couldn’t help being surprised by this.
After all, this certainly wasn’t something that we had been expecting to see.
Klein didn’t say anything as he went forward to lead the royal guards in dealing with these things.
I was surprised that I was even hitting random encounters like this since it had been a long time since something like this had happened. Though it was certainly interesting to see that there were still these monsters out there.
With the racial alliance working together, we had regularly suppressed monsters to make sure that they wouldn’t bother us while we were fighting the forces of Destruction.
Not to mention that we had just swept out the monsters not that long ago since they had been controlled by the forces of Destruction.
There shouldn’t be that many monsters that were left out there to do something like this, only there were these monsters that were right in front of me.
There was a part of me that wanted to test my strength against these monsters, but I knew that it wouldn’t be possible with Klein and the royal guards here. So I just patiently watched from the side as they took care of it.
In the past, I never would have thought that I would command troops that would deal with monsters this easily.
In the past, I had struggled just to fight a wave of monsters that had attacked my town.
But now I had wyverns under my command that could wipe out these monsters easily.
“Don’t wipe them all out.”
Klein immediately knitted his brows when he heard this, but I just said, “There must be a nest nearby if they’re appearing in these numbers. Leave a few alive so we can follow them back and clear the nest out.”
Klein looked like he wasn’t keen on this, but he gave up when I said, “This is the least that we can do. There are other people that travel this road and they won’t have the same power as us.”
Klein gave a sigh in the end, but he still gave the signal to the royal guards to let a few of these monsters go.
