Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure - Chapter 2034: Can’t be used

Chapter 2034: Can’t be used
When I entered the research lab the next morning, I could see the tired looks that were all around this place.
But even though they looked tired, there was no hiding the excitement that was also there.
If it wasn’t for this excitement, they wouldn’t have been able to run around like this.
It seemed that these researchers had stayed up all night investigating the samples that I had shown them. At this point, they were just running on the adrenaline that came from their excitement.
With the way that they moved, their enthusiasm was even a bit scary.
Still, I went over to Puffer to ask, “How is it? Did you find anything interesting about these samples?”
She immediately turned to look at me when I asked this and pulled me over to what she had been working on.
This was a special magic item that they had created with all of the knowledge that was gathered in this research lab. Though it was mainly the technology of the former Democratic Union that they had focused on when creating this magic machine.
It was similar to the specialized research machines of my past life.
It certainly seemed much more professional than just them researching these samples by hand.
However, I could also see the readings that were currently being displayed.
These null readings showed that they really couldn’t figure out anything about these samples that I handed them.
Or it was better to say that the equipment that they used wasn’t enough to figure out what these samples were.
From what I had heard from them before, I knew that the machine that they used was something that bombarded the item that they placed inside with mana waves. With these mana waves, they would get a certain response from the item that they placed inside that would give them information.
Whether it was a familiar response or a new response, there would be some kind of data that they would be able to gain from it.
But for there to be a null reading, it meant that the mana waves that this machine released had been resisted by the items that they had put in.
I didn’t think that these items would even be strong enough that they would be able to resist the mana waves like this.
However, when I thought about it, these things were made from divine energy in the first place.
Divine energy was something that was on a completely different level compared to mana, so it did seem to make sense if the mana waves weren’t able to penetrate these things created from divine energy.
However, that meant that we still had no idea what these samples were made of.
“You created them, so you should be able to shape them, right?” That was the conclusion that Puffer came to.
I raised a brow hearing this, but I did feel that should be the case.
It was one thing to make them disappear since that would be the opposite of creation and what we were fighting against. But to change their shape could still be considered creation since it wasn’t as if I was making them disappear.
I was just simply changing the shape of these creations.
Though I didn’t understand what Puffer wanted me to do with these things.
“Make them as thin as you can.”
I was surprised to hear this from her since this was the lowest intelligence answer that she could have come up with. But I could see from the look on her face as she said this that she was serious about this.
So with a twitch of my lips, I did what she asked me to do.
I took the wood sample that I felt would be the easiest out of all of them and shaped it into this very thin piece of wood. It almost felt like this wood would snap at any moment with how thin it was, but I knew that this wouldn’t actually happen.
Even if someone used all their strength to try and snap this thin piece of wood, there wouldn’t be a single crack in the thin piece of wood.
That was just how strong this material was.
Naturally, that meant that the mana waves weren’t able to penetrate through the wood even though it was already as thin as it could be.
It wasn’t just the wood alone that gave this reaction, the rest of the samples all gave the same reaction as that piece of wood.
So in the end, Puffer had no choice but to say with a sigh, “There’s no just no use for it. Other than being strong, it doesn’t seem like there are any other attributes to it.”
The other researchers all nodded in agreement to this.
I knew that they were only saying this after doing all kinds of tests.
After all, it wasn’t as if they just left this thing alone after they found that the machine couldn’t actually analyze it. They would have run all kinds of other tests on these samples before judging that there was no use to these things.
I could see the traces of the tests that they had run all around the research lab.
Since they were saying that this thing couldn’t be used, then it seemed like I wouldn’t be able to do anything with this creation power in terms of creating basic things. It seemed that I would only be able to use this creation power when it came to creating complicated things like the sample needed for the blood vaccine.
“Who said that there’s no use to it? You just don’t know how to use it properly.”
Puffer immediately narrowed her eyes and turned in the direction that the voice came from.
I followed her as well and saw that Max was standing there.
I was surprised that he was here at first, but then I found it natural that he would be here as well since he was someone that specialized in studying corruption energy and divine energy.
