Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure - Chapter 2038: Hitting the limit

Chapter 2038: Hitting the limit
The divine energy that I released flowed into the mold and I was able to feel it being formed inside of the mold.
With this mold, all that I had to do was fill it to the brim to make sure that the blade would be made into the right shape.
The only thing that I had to look out for was to make sure that it didn’t overflow through the hole, but that was very easy to do.
So in the end, it didn’t take long for a blade to be formed.
When I opened the mold and revealed the blade, the dwarves all looked at it with looks of disdain. It was clear that they weren’t happy that this blade had been created with this soulless mold.
However for everyone else, it wasn’t as if they really cared about this.
In their eyes, this blade was actually quite good.
It was the perfect size for a standard issued blade and it fit into the handles that were created with no problem.
Once the blade was formed, a handle was brought out and the sword was created.
After the sword was created, the only thing left to do was to test it out.
These tests resulted in everyone agreeing that there was nothing wrong with this sword.
It was a perfectly normal sword that they had no problem using.
But at the same time, it was a sword that was effective against the corruption energy since it was one that was created with divine energy.
That meant that this sword really was the perfect sword to mass produce for the racial alliance forces.
With this sword, anyone would be able to fight against the corruption energy monsters.
Though whether this sword was strong enough to use against the Apostles of Destruction was still something that had to be said.
For the Apostles of Destruction, perhaps a proper blade had to be forged just like the dwarves wanted.
Only right now, it wasn’t the time for that.
Right now, what we had to do was mass produce this sword and send them out to the forces of the racial alliance.
While the forces of Destruction weren’t doing anything, it was best to equip our forces with the best weapons that we could give them.
However, to do that…
“I need more molds.” I said to the dismay of the dwarves.
As soon as they heard this, it was only natural that their expressions sank.
They didn’t support the molds being used in the first place, so it was only natural that they wouldn’t want to produce more molds. However, the dwarves did understand how important it was to the racial alliance to have these weapons.
So after a bit of agonizing, they still went to make these molds.
It went from one mold to two.
Then from two molds to four and so on.
The molds weren’t that hard to make, but they had to familiarize themselves with making it in the first place since the dwarves normally didn’t make molds like this. To make molds that didn’t have any soul at all like this could be considered going against their craftsmen pride.
Which was why they had to slowly make the molds.
During that time, I was just using the molds to create more blades.
It wasn’t a problem for me since it wasn’t as if I needed to use my hands to direct the divine energy. It only took a single thought for me to send the divine energy into the molds that were in front of me.
Once the molds were filled with divine energy, I didn’t even need to open the molds myself to get the blades out.
I just left this to the others that were here to help out.
They took out the blades and stuck them into the handles that the dwarves prepared before taking the swords away.
With all of us working together like this, it didn’t take long before it became a kind of production line for creating these swords.
However, it wasn’t as if things remained this smooth.
After all, with how we were slowly ramping up production like this, it was only a matter of time before we reached a limit. And it didn’t actually take that long for us to reach that limit.
Though this limit wasn’t one for the collective production line, this was a limit just for me alone.
I was a single person and there was a limit to how much I could do on my own.
I couldn’t go past twenty molds by myself since I wasn’t able to control it properly once it reached that point.
Though in the end, this was a matter of training myself to control the divine energy better.
The real big limiting factor was the fact that I was limited by how much divine energy I had.
It did take a lot of divine energy to fill up these molds, so I was burning through my limited supply of divine energy.
“This kind of expenditure can’t be sustained and it’ll be a matter of time before I run out of energy.” I thought to myself, but I had already thought of a solution.
It only took a single thought for me to bring out that solution, but…
“No, I don’t want to.” Queenie firmly rejected me when I asked her to provide me with her divine energy.
I knew that this would happen, so I had already prepared something to help me convince her.
It was just that it didn’t seem like this was enough with how she still rejected me.
It seemed like she was getting smarter when it came to being bribed.
Which was why I had to get even more things to bribe her with in the end.
With the network that Haley had set up, it actually wasn’t that hard to find the things that Queenie liked.
Even if she acted tough, she just couldn’t hold back on her desires.
That was how it was with a lazy god’s messenger like her.
