Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure - Chapter 2065: Tell me more

Chapter 2065: Tell me more
In the end, the elder said with a sigh, “What can we do to make you trust us? We are only offering to help with the best intentions and we will do what we can to make you trust us. After all, you are our saviour.”
With the way that the elder was saying this, it was as if I was forcing it to say this at this point.
Though that thought wasn’t wrong since it didn’t seem like I was willing to accept them unless I got what I wanted. And in truth, I wanted to see if there was anything that I could get from them.
“Tell me more about the gods and the war between gods that you experienced in the past.” I said without any hesitation.
The elder was visibly caught off guard when I said this, but I didn’t say anything else as I waited for an answer from the elder.
After a long silence, the elder turned around and said, “Please follow me then.”
Without a single word, we walked for a long while until we reached a cave that we had found before. Only we had never entered this cave since it was said to be a burial site by the rock elementals.
If we had helped the rock elementals, then we would have gotten here much sooner.
Once we were here, the elder went in still without saying a single thing.
I didn’t feel uncomfortable at all that we were continuing in silence like this, I was just curious what they were about to show us.
When we came into the cave, it wasn’t hard to guess what it was that the elder wanted to show us. After all, this was something that was inscribed on all of the walls that were around us.
These things seemed to be some kind of drawing that was telling some kind of story.
For them to be inscribed on the walls of this cave, this should be the story of the rock elementals.
Though just from these drawings alone, it wasn’t as if I could tell what the history was.
After walking for a bit, the elder suddenly came to a stop as it turned around to look at me.
The look on the elder’s face seemed like it was struggling with what to say, but eventually the elder said, “I’ll show you the history of our rock elemental tribe, but please make sure to keep this a secret. These are things that can’t be shared with others.”
A strange look appeared on my face when I heard this as I couldn’t understand what would make the elder act this way, but I still gave a nod to show that I understood.
Once I gave this nod, the elder placed a hand on the wall.
When the elder placed its hand on the wall like this, there was a flash of light that came from the images on the wall before things suddenly came out of those images.
It seemed to be some kind of construct made of rock.
Seeing this, it wasn’t hard to guess what this construct made of rock was for.
In fact, it was interesting seeing the kind of method that the rock elementals chose to pass down history like this. Though this certainly was something that could only be done by these rock elementals that could control elemental energy.
Without it, the images on the walls wouldn’t have created these rock constructs and started playing out their history.
It didn’t seem like there was anything special about these rock constructs at first.
From what I could see, they were nothing more than normal rock elementals, though they certainly weren’t real rock elementals since they didn’t have the same spirit as real rock elementals.
The way they moved, the way that they behaved, they were nothing more than puppets that were controlled by something.
So I didn’t think too much about these rock constructs and focused on what they were acting out.
It was just that it didn’t seem like there was anything special about this.
The history that the rock constructs was acting out seemed to be nothing more than a normal history. They were just acting out the history of how the rock elementals came to be.
Or at least this should be how the rock elementals thought they came to be.
It wasn’t as if they knew exactly how they were formed.
No matter how I watched this, it didn’t seem like there was anything to be embarrassed about when it came to their history. In fact, it seemed like normal history since it was just telling how they were formed from nature.
When the elder saw the way that I looked at it, it looked back at me with an awkward look before saying, “Just wait and you’ll see.”
I skeptically raised a brow, but I didn’t say anything as I continued watching the act of these rock constructs.
The elder did know the history of the rock elementals much better than me as the leader of the rock elementals. It wasn’t as if I was in any position to say that I knew better than the elder.
Eventually, I saw the reason for why the elder was embarrassed.
I didn’t really get it at first, but it eventually became clear.
It all started with a single action from one of the rock constructs.
All of a sudden, that one rock construct started attacking one of the other rock constructs.
It didn’t seem to make sense that this rock construct would suddenly attack the other rock construct, but soon it became clear when the attacker became bigger.
With the way that the victim was getting smaller, it was clear that the attacker was draining the power of the victim to become stronger.
When it was over, the attacker didn’t double in size, but it was clearly much bigger than before.
It was obvious that the attacker had absorbed the power of the victim.
