Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure - Chapter 2067: Fall of gods

Chapter 2067: Fall of gods
After the elder’s final words, this brought an end to the play of the rock constructs and they disappeared.
I remained silent for a bit before saying, “You did what you had to do to survive.”
The elder didn’t say anything, but the complicated look on its face showed what it was thinking.
Instead of saying something about this, the elder moved further into the cave while saying, “What you want to see is further in.”
I didn’t say anything since it felt like it would be rude to say anything at this point.
But there was a part of me that wanted to push forward since this wasn’t what I wanted to see.
This was the past of the rock elementals, but this past really didn’t have anything to do with me. There were countless different races that faced similar things in the past and it wasn’t as if I could say anything about any of them.
In fact, the different races of the continent had done many horrifying things during the racial wars…
Following the elder, we walked into the deeper parts of the cave.
Once we were here, the elder did the same thing as before as it put its hand on the walls.
When it did, the same thing happened where the images on the walls lit up and they created rock constructs.
These rock constructs were different from the ones that appeared before.
These ones were much bigger than the ones that appeared before, but they weren’t at the same height as the ones that had represented the gods.
If I had to guess, these rock constructs most likely represented the other races that had fought on the side of the gods during the last war of the gods.
At the same time, it didn’t take long for a different kind of rock construct to appear.
This rock construct wasn’t the same as the other rock constructs that appeared previously.
Though the only real difference was that this rock construct was a different colour.
However, the fact that this rock construct was different was more than enough to tell what this rock construct was.
It was a representation of the forces of Destruction.
It didn’t take long for more of these rock constructs to appear and represent the entire force of the forces of Destruction.
Then after that, there were rock constructs that represented the gods that also appeared.
“Gods could appear in the world back then?” I couldn’t help asking the elder.
The elder didn’t answer at first, but then it said, “The line between the mortal world and the divine world wasn’t that far in the past. Or that was what I heard from the ancestors that were alive back then.”
I couldn’t help raising a brow when I heard this, but I didn’t say anything as I watched the battle unfold in front of me.
It was an all out battle between the rock constructs representing the two sides.
However, I had to cut in again when I saw something that I didn’t expect.
“Even gods fell in that battle?” I asked in a surprised voice.
Though I had heard about this in the past, it wasn’t something that was that easy to believe.
The elder was once again silent for a bit before saying, “Gods aren’t immortal. Even gods can fall.”
I looked at the elder with a strange look, but I didn’t say anything.
After all, it felt like there was something strange about the elder when it said this. It didn’t seem like this was something that the elder was saying, but rather something that it was repeating.
I didn’t know who it was repeating this from, but it was clear that it was repeating it from something.
The scene played out as one would expect with the side of the gods winning out in the end.
It didn’t really show what happened to the God of Destruction or the Four Omens in the past, but this was just a simple representation formed with rock constructs to begin with. It wasn’t as if this was something that was meant to tell the history of the entire war.
In the end, the rock constructs showed how the gods had bestowed that rock pillar to the rock elementals and that was the end of that.
This display didn’t seem to show the God of Creation directly, it just showed an envoy of the gods delivering this rock pillar to the rock elementals.
When it was over, the elder asked, “Does this answer your questions?”
Hearing this, I couldn’t help narrowing my eyes to look at the elder before shaking my head. After all, it felt like the elder was asking because there was something else that the elder wanted to hide.
Though it also seemed like the elder already knew that I could guess this.
So in the end, the elder gave a sigh before continuing even further.
Even though we had reached a deep part of the cave, it wasn’t as if this was the deepest part. This time, the elder was taking us to the very deepest part of this entire cave.
This seemed like the place where the deepest secrets of the rock elemental tribe would be hiding.
Only when we arrived, it didn’t seem like there was anything here.
In fact, there weren’t even any drawings that were on the wall like in the other parts of the cave. This place seemed like it was completely empty except for a certain thing that was right in the center.
Looking closely, this seemed to be some kind of rock that was placed there.
This didn’t seem like anything special based on its appearance since it was just a regular rock.
But for someone that could sense it, they would be able to tell that this thing wasn’t normal right away.
After all, this rock was releasing divine energy that was on a completely different level.
In fact, it was at a level that even reminded me of the god’s messengers.
