Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure - Chapter 2073: Rely on others

Chapter 2073: Rely on others
“What do you mean by that?” I couldn’t help asking when I heard this.
Solista just looked at the map still as she said, “When you released the seal for the trial, there were traces of the elementals that were also released. I’m sure that you’ve already heard why the forces of Destruction attacked the elementals in the first place.”
A bitter look appeared on my face as I looked at her, but it didn’t seem like Solista took this to heart at all.
They were the ones that had sent me there to help the elementals for the trial that they gave me.
If I wasn’t supposed to release the seal, then how I was supposed to help them?
This was the question that was on my mind, but I didn’t say it out loud.
After all, there was no answer that would be coming.
Solista didn’t seem bothered that I didn’t say anything in response.
She just calmly looked at me and continued, “So that’s why it’s best if you go look for these elementals as soon as possible. If they were to fall into the hands of the forces of Destruction, it would be dangerous.”
I narrowed my eyes when she said this before asking, “But how do I split myself and go to all of these places at the same time?”
“Who said that you have to do this alone? Don’t you have plenty of people to rely on?” That was the response that followed.
I couldn’t help knitting my brows when I heard this, before feeling that there was something wrong with this.
In the end, I couldn’t help saying, “Can they help though? It isn’t as if they can do the same thing as me, right?”
“Just because they can’t do the same thing as you, doesn’t mean that they can’t do anything at all. As long as they can protect the area that the elementals are in, there’s no need to rush, is there?”
Once again, it felt like there was something wrong with what she said, but I couldn’t really say what was wrong with it.
It just felt like there was something wrong with it, but I really couldn’t put my finger on what it was.
In the end, there wasn’t anything that I could say in response to the suggestion that Solista made.
Since I didn’t say anything, it seemed like she wanted to send me back.
But before she could, I suddenly said, “You said that you would tell me some things if I passed the trial. Is that really all that you have to tell me?”
I knew that it would be impossible to list out all of the things that I wanted to know, so the only thing that I could do was get her to tell me the things that she could tell me.
I had faith that she would at least tell me this much.
Though from the look in Solista’s eyes, it seemed like I was putting her in a difficult situation.
There was a long silence that lingered in the air, almost as if Solista was trying to decide what she could and couldn’t say.
In the end, she said, “We don’t mean you any harm.”
This certainly wasn’t what I had been expecting to hear from her, but I could see the sincerity that was in her eyes. Only it was hard to believe that this was the case after everything that had happened so far.
Or it was better to say, even if she personally felt this way…it wasn’t as if that meant that the God of Creation felt the same way.
From the memories that I saw, it really didn’t seem like the God of Creation had any good intentions for me.
But in the end, this seemed like it was all that Solista was willing to say.
So with a sigh, I said, “I hope that will be the case.”
Solista looked at me with a complicated look, but she didn’t say anything in the end as she sent me back to the mortal world.
Once I was back, I didn’t leave the main chapel right away as I wanted to write down what I had seen. Only I found that there was no need for this as there was a map that had been sent down with me.
This was just a normal map, it wasn’t some kind of relic.
“For gods, this should be easy…” I muttered to myself as I looked at this map.
It had all of the same markings as the map that Solista showed me previously, so there was no need for me to do anything.
With this map, I came out to find all of the popes waiting for me as per usual.
They all seemed like they had been waiting for me to come out just so I could tell them what happened.
It was just that I wasn’t ready to tell them yet.
It wasn’t that I hadn’t decided on telling them, it was that I had to gather myself before I could figure out what I wanted to tell them.
The fact of the matter was that I didn’t want to tell them everything that happened.
There were some things that I wanted to hide from them, so I had to sort out what I wanted to say and what I didn’t want to say.
So instead of telling them anything, I just said, “I need to talk to the racial alliance. There’s something that I need everyone’s help with.”
The popes of the Holy Council were surprised to hear this, but they nodded to show that they understood before turning as if they were going to gather everyone.
But before they could, I said, “I need to head back to the Kite Kingdom first. There are a few things that I have to take care of before I call this meeting.”
So without getting any information that they wanted, I left the Holy Empire.
